I took one of my old songs from about 1989 and loaded it into an AI music creation tool and this is what it spit out... and its pretty scary how good it came out!

I have not played professionally or or even for fun very much over the last 40 years. Now that I have some time, learning scales and modes all over again seems like more work than it was the first time. Playing in the groove and then with some heart seems farther away... but I'm having fun, so that is what counts.

Recorded in Richmond, Virginia, 1989, this was the first song I wrote and completed all the vocals and instruments on. I used an 8 track cassette machine, my '86 Jackson, and Fender Precision bass, and a drum machine.

Demo I wrote and recorded around 1990 in Los Angeles. I used an 8 track Alesis Digital recorder, a drum machine, my '86 Jackson guitar, a Marshall Mosfet amplifier with a single 12" speaker, on reverb unit, one delay unit, and a fender precision bass. Lead vocal is Larry Preston (Me), the lady at the beginning is Gina Felliceta, and Ricky Barrons layered on the chorus vocals.

Flew to Fargo, North Dakota in 2020 and landed in a blizzard. I do not missing living with that kind of weather!
