Images edited using Adobe PR with some cropping to make the stars the focal point of each shot, and with manipulation of the contrast to bring out the stars a bit more. Chicago, Illinois - 09.27.2015. Rare astronomical phenomenon. Supermoon and Lunar Eclipse in one night. Sky cleared out just for the show after super cloudy day. We almost missed it but luckily we ware able to witness this amazing spectacle. In my opinion clouds added a little bit more drama to the long awaited evening. And it was worth spending five hours shooting pictures and appreciating this awesome event. Shot with Canon 7D and 70D. Lenses 10-22mm, 24-105mm, 120-400mm. One sequence with GoPro Hero 4 Black Edition. I shot over 3800 stills that evening.

Shot over 4 month, travelling through amazing landscapes, sleeping under the stars, hiking on mountains and exploring remote roads.
