Its centers were founded by the late 14th Shamar Rinpoche, the second in command of the Kagyu lineage, after Karmapa. In this part of the interview Lama Tsony shares his personal story of becoming a close student of Gendun Rinpoche and a monk at the center in Dordogne, France.
