Atlus dropped a bombshell of announcements (really just one) on Xbox's Showcase earlier this week. Persona 5 Royal is coming to Xbox Series X|S, PS5, AND PC via Steam. Is this a problem? Not a serious one, unless you consider FOMO as something detrimental. Sometimes though, it does feel like production companies like Netflix, Amazon, Disney, etc. seem to be throwing crap at the wall and see what sticks. I'm not even gonna get into stuff like The Wheel of Time s***show or the Halo show, or anything related to CW. But surely I'm not the only one who feels overwhelmed by all the content, right? I mean, it's a nice problem to have, but nonetheless makes it a bit more difficult to commit to a show (One Piece fans may not understand). I think Netflix is making some dumb moves, Spotify is killing it, Disney is still being Disney, and I'm procrastinating again. Hopefully, that'll change over the Summer. I've been going back and forth between different racing games this past year, ranging from various Need For Speed games to starting Forza Horizons, and even going back to some of the old Midnight Club games. I've been thinking about what the landscape for the genre is like right now, and also what it may look like in the future. PlayStation had filed this patent back in January 2020, and it was granted earlier this week. This patent essentially allows spectators in online multiplayer games to vote to remove a player from a game or match, either by actually voting, or by monetary means. In other words, paying money to remove them. I personally don't like this feature because I think it's susceptible to abuse, big time. I can see the trolls now, voting to get a popular streamer out of a match just for the lulz, and thinking about it myself, that does sound somewhat amusing. We got the 4 masks needed to open the coffin in the tom outside the mansion. And of course, someone, or rather something, was still inside. After that, we semi-safely left the mansion!.. But only to the cabin area nearby. The outside was just as scary as the mansion. Now we've got to deal with the nature-based zombies... Like the zombo-doggos. And Spiders. And Sharks. Oh, we also said heyy to our homegirl Lisa. Looks like she had a lot of time to herself. The sequel to 2019's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare may end up being called... (drum roll please)... Modern Warfare 2! Real creative right? My god, the confusion this will cause, if true, will be insane. I also think it's funny that CoD Vanguard hasn't released yet, or even their competitor, Battlefield 2042 (beta is mediocre and buggy IMO) and the more interesting news is, next year's Call of Duty... As I progress further into the mansion, as well as the story, I meet all kinds of creatures: not just more zombies, but angry birds (I think crows?), tentacle plants (overgrown vines, I'm guessing?), but no dogs... Just a giant freaking snake. That ends up poisoning me... Dude, wtf is going on with this place?! Resident Evil has it all! Also, thank you guys so much for making it here.
