Charles Ward "Chuck" Smith (June 25, 1927 – October 3, 2013) was an American pastor who founded the Calvary Chapel movement. Beginning with the 25-person Costa Mesa congregation in 1965, Smith's influence now extends to "more than 1,000 churches nationwide and hundreds more overseas",[2] some of which are among the largest churches in the United States. He has been called "one of the most influential figures in modern American Christianity."[2] The founding of Calvary Chapel is depicted in the 2023 film Jesus Revolution, with Smith being portrayed by Kelsey Grammer.
Charles Ward Smith was born on June 25, 1927, in Ventura, California, to Charles and Maude Smith.[3] He was the second of four children.
After graduating from Santa Ana High School in 1945, Smith graduated from Life Bible College and was ordained as a pastor for the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel. In the late 1950s, Smith was the campaign manager and worship director for healing evangelist Paul Cain.[4] After being a pastor for a different denomination, he left his denomination to pastor a non-denominational church plant in Corona, California, and eventually moved to a small pre-existing church called Calvary Chapel in Costa Mesa, California in December 1965.
At its beginning, Calvary Chapel operated as a cross-cultural missions organization that bridged the "generation gap" as it existed during the Vietnam War period. Calvary Chapel was a hub of the "Jesus People" phenomenon that existed at that time and was featured in Time magazine for its success among "hippies" and young people. Calvary Chapel pioneered a contemporary and less formal approach in its worship and public meetings; for example, it did outreaches on the beach, and baptisms in the Pacific Ocean.[10] Much of contemporary Christian music has its roots in Calvary Chapel worship music. Calvary Chapel's rolling commentary-style of preaching kept the Calvary Chapels close to the text of the Bible and was readily understandable by many hearers. Calvary Chapel developed its own internal training early for multiplication of church leaders and pastors; by pioneering a more informal and contemporary style in its church practices, Calvary Chapel reached large numbers in Costa Mesa and expanded easily by adding many pastors and new congregations in many locations. The impact of Chuck Smith and Calvary Chapel on evangelical Christianity is profound, widespread, and largely unheralded. Rather than being a teacher of systems and methods of growing large churches (elements of which frustrated him in his denominational experience), Chuck Smith taught his personal brand of leadership at pastors' conferences which included one single male leader, who held the majority of the power, with a group of elders who served primarily as figure heads to reinforce pastoral authority.
Chuck Smith is the author and co-author of several books; titles of his books include Answers for Today; Calvary Chapel Distinctives; Calvinism, Arminianism & The Word of God; Charisma vs. Charismania; Comfort for Those Who Mourn; Effective Prayer Life; Harvest; Living Water; The Claims of Christ; The Gospel According to Grace; The Philosophy of Ministry of Calvary Chapel; Why Grace Changes Everything; Love: The More Excellent Way; The Final Act; and others.

Welcome to KingJCproductions, Those seeking an ear-tickling need not apply. Our videos aren't sugar-coated: this is bold preaching, straight from the Word of God and heralded by some of the leading pastors in the Christian tradition such as David Jeremiah, John MacArthur, David Wilkerson, Carter Conlon, and Charles Lawson. We're here to convict, motivate, exhort, and inspire, declaring solely the Lord Jesus Christ as the only way to salvation by faith in His name, remembering always that "I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish." (Luke 13:3).

What is the mark of the beast? Who is the Antichrist and False Prophet in the Book of Revelation? The Mark of the Beast has become one of the most sensationalized and mystifying parts of the Bible. Endless theories surround this concept, and the number 666. But contrary to what popular culture and church traditions might teach, we are supposed to be able to make general sense of the meaning of the Mark of the Beast, and make it fit within the overall message of Hope contained in Revelation.
We are moving into spiritually dark times and the end is near, but many are unprepared. "We have never been closer to the end," A decision must be made-Jesus Christ or Antichrist? A new beginning awaits those who put their trust in Jesus, eternal spiritual darkness for those who deny him.
Can a Christian accidentally take the mark of the beast?
Are Vaccine Passports "Mark Of The Beast" Or The Only Way To Normalcy?
What is the "mark of the beast"? What is the significance of the number 666?
What does the Bible say about the Mark of the Beast? How is it possible to force the whole world to take the Mark? Is technology advanced enough for the mark of the beast?
We will examine what the Book of Revelation has to say about the Antichrist's mark, used to control commerce during the Tribulation Period.
God's mark will be on His people. Satan wants to replace God's authentic, will, and word in our lives. What we're seeing in our culture today is a phenomenon where people are no longer in tune with God, other people, and nature. People are more in tune with their technology, being drawn into an addictive pseudo-reality. Mankind is losing touch with what is authentic and being drawn into darkness.
The Mark of the Beast in Revelation 13 has been linked to modern innovations like vaccines, barcodes, microchips, credit cards and even cryptocurrency like Bitcoin. The problem is every generation has interpreted details like 666 and the Mark in the book of Revelation to events, people and things in their own day.
The Corona Virus has tilted the world; governments have forced millions into lockdowns and restrictions. As the pandemic ensues, many Christians wonder are we in the end times? The prophecies of The Book of Revelation are getting clearer each day, and with every new variant, new measures are put into place. Is this pandimic the foreshadowing of the tribulation period, is Jesus' second coming near? As we battle all of these questions, we need to decide whether to take the vaccine or not. So, what is the Mark of the Beast in the Book of Revelation, could it be the vaccine?
Ultimately, we know Jesus loves us, He died so that we could spend eternity in Heaven by His side. We need to pray for our healthcare and frontline workers, one another, and even our governments. Take peace knowing that God is still in control, He is not worried about tomorrow, He has already won. We as Christians don't need to worry, Jesus' return is getting closer each passing day. We hope this video is informative and inspirational and gives you the motivation to strengthen your faith and pray to God to take away any worry, stress or fear in your life.

Put God First: Inspirational & Motivational Video
In delivering the commencement speech at Dillard University, Academy Award-winning actor Denzel Washington told the college graduates to put God first in everything they do, adding that everything he has accomplished in this life was due to the grace of God.
Jesus taught us to seek the Kingdom of God above all else. We are to seek the things of God over the things of the world. If you seek God first, He will take care of all the other areas of your life.
We must put God first and make Him our first priority!
