A longplay of Super Stardust HD on PS3 (using RPCS3 emulator). It's a perfect run of Arcade mode, with NO deaths and over 100 Million score, below par times in every section, as well as some of the hardest trophies, including "Multiplier Hero" (obtaining a 10x multiplier), and "Well Prepared" (accumulating 20 bombs at once), and some others! Note that RPCS3 CANNOT play this game properly at 4K, as projectiles get shrunk down when raising resolution. So I recorded in 1080p w/ Fidelity FX CAS and SMAA using ReShade, then used Smart Upscale in Magix Vegas, which seemed to get me the best upload quality in the testing I did. I achieved a MASSIVE almost 12 Million skill chain while driving the Mercedes-Benz Truck (Forza Edition). I was just driving around and managed to somehow keep this going for 40+ minutes. I love this game already... Flying off the massive ramp at the "Runway" Danger Sign in Forza Horizon 5, with the 2018 McLaren Senna. You really should use an X-Class car for this, but if you start from the jungle area, this thing can just about make it. A full longplay of "Maximum Force" on Playstation 1, which is a port of the arcade version. Played on DuckStation with regular controller D-Pad. Not a fan of the mouse on this game. This is definitely one of my arcade favorites, along with Area 51, both of which were ported to the PlayStation 1. I tried to get into as many of the secret rooms as I could. If I didn't get all unique rooms, I got pretty close. I'm sure I missed some of their multiple appearances though! Apparently when you go underwater in the first level, you're supposed to shoot the lights and vents as you enter the building for the "Pool Party" secret room, but I've never seen it on PS1 and am convinced it doesn't exist on the port despite claims of it that I've read online... A full longplay and walkthrough of Back 4 Blood, no commentary, played solo on PC for this playthrough. Also includes locations of several of the secret skulls for achievements. It's a much-anticipated spiritual successor to the Left 4 Dead series. Overall I enjoy it and think it did a few things quite well. In other areas, I think it fails miserably with bland and underdeveloped characters, storytelling, etc. I definitely think it's worth a playthrough on Xbox Game Pass, but I'm not sure I'd be shelling out $60 for this one, if I'm being totally honest. I'd give it something like a 6 out of 10. It's definitely best played with friends, but bad players are inferior to the bots in my experience. A gameplay video of the new Season 1 "Phalanx" kit / class in Aliens: Fireteam Elite on stage 6, "Giants In The Earth: Evacuate". It's "okay", I guess. It's most useful against Synthetics since you can be really aggressive and take unlimited fire from them with no issue, but since they're in a minority of the game, it loses a lot of utility in MOST missions. While it's nice to have your shield, there's usually plenty of cover anyway, and you lose an extra ability that can quickly dispatch enemies eg overclock, a turret and so on. Also, if you're not fully paying attention, it's very easy to take fire and not realize you're vulnerable until you've taken quite a lot of damage. Still, getting up-close and personal for high damage with a shotgun for example, is pretty nice. It's a fun time overall! A longplay of Iridion II on the Nintendo Game Boy Advance (GBA), an excellent shoot 'em up game, uploaded in HD! This is easily one of my favorite games on the system. A longplay of "Baseball Advance" on the Nintendo Game Boy Advance, uploaded in HD. This is arguably the best baseball game on the GBA system and is a blast to play, especially once you start getting used to it. I played through an entire "Playoffs Mode" using the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in this one. I'd have played an entire season, but the video would have gone on for many more hours, so I didn't. This game is actually based on Sega's "Greatest Nine" series from Japan, but this is the ONLY release in the series that got an American adaptation. A longplay of Metal Slug 5 on the Sony PlayStation 2 (PS2), although this appears to be a pretty good port of the arcade version overall. This was part of the Metal Slug 4 and 5 set that was released on PlayStation 2 in 2005, NOT the Metal Slug Anthology version, which I believe had some changes like no flashing when hitting bosses, though that may have only been on the Wii version? No matter how much I suck at these games, Metal Slug is one of my favorite games series' of all time and make some of my fondest memories in gaming of the early 2000's. A longplay of Metal Slug 3 on the Sony PlayStation 2, part of the Metal Slug Anthology released on PS2 in early 2007. This series in an extremely fun time and everyone aught to check it out. Hopefully you'll be better at it than I am! The versions in this collection appear to be emulated versions of SNK's AES / MVS arcade machines, but there's more to consider: Metal Slug Anthology is a decent way to play most of the series, but it does have noticeable input lag. It's not absolutely terrible, but you'll notice it, especially if you've played other versions where it isn't an issue. A longplay of "Greatest Nine" on the Nintendo Game Boy Advance, the Japanese counterpart to "Baseball Advance" released in 2002, both essentially being the same game but adapted to Japanese and American baseball respectively. And that's cool, because this (and Baseball Advance) are (in my opinion) the best baseball games on Gameboy Advance. I decided to do an All-Star game just to show off the gameplay.
