Ep. 16 | Cryptocurrency High levels of encryption does not justify THIS price | Here is why
Cryptocurrency is created using encryption algorithms, yes this is true, and cryptocurrencies relies on cryptography and cryptology for its security of communication between users and authentication, yes true again.
But I argue here, that these as true as they are do not justify the price. I also go a bit into the discussion of the uses of high level encryption, cryptography in our day to day lives in military in business and point to how these very important uses have not resulted in us being charged insane and unexplainable prices as cryptocurrency has done.
I argue in fact that cryptocurrency paddlers use the fact that it is highly encrypted and based on a secure system based on cryptography, they use these facts to shake down investors. The argument is that the attempts to justify its price by citing cryptography are an overt misdirection and a dog and pony show.

The Pathology of the loot: The South African case
Editoral notes:
The South African official/reduced/strict unemployment rate was stated in the video to be 40%, the correct figure is around 35%, 40% is for the expanded/full unemployment rate. Apologies for the error.
Also the video begins rather abruptly, due to technical error in the recording, no content of significance was lost due to this. Apologies here too.
