My 300lbs Weight Loss Left Me With 20lbs Of Loose Skin | BRAND NEW ME
HENRY Gonzales, 31, from Georgia weighed 565lbs at his heaviest and was a self confessed binge eater. However, with the help of his Mom Nelly, and best friend Roberto, Henry has lost over 300lbs! When Henry was at his heaviest, he would eat enormous portions of food throughout the day which all contributed to his weight gain and unhealthy lifestyle. Henry told Truly: "When I was that big it would be binge eating. Big meals, Big portions...my snacks would be what normal people consider a meal. It's like a guilty pleasure.... it feels good whilst you're eating it, but at the same time you know you're doing something really wrong - the bigger I got the worse it felt". Henry says that his life changed the day he got onto a plane and had to buy two plane tickets as he could not fit onto one seat. He felt so embarrassed and low at that moment he decided to change his life for good. Henry turned to his Mom Nelly and best friend Roberto for help and got to work! With lots of effort and dedication Henry has now lost over 300lbs but has been left with loose skin. Henry said: "Looking at my loose skin now makes me feel proud and glad that I started this journey when I did. This is my past and I'm trying to see what my future looks like and my future doesn't have loose skin". Henry's journey isn't over as he wants to continue his weight loss journey and eventually have his loose skin removed. He added: "I'm not scared of nothing any more, the world opened up for me completely, make the decision..start and never stop".

My Type Is 'Small Women' - So What? | LOVE DON'T JUDGE
CAIT, 22, is a model, fashion blogger and student who lives in the UK. She was born with achondroplasia, a rare form of dwarfism, she is just 3ft 9" tall. She has been with Guy, 32, 5ft 9", a Marine engineer and a motorbike racer for just over a year. Guy initially approached her last year after coming across her modelling profile. He instantly thought she was "beautiful" and "wanted to try to date her". He sent her a friend request on Facebook, and she eventually saw it nine weeks later and messaged him. They went on a first date, and their romance blossomed from there. However, some of Cait's friends and family questioned Guy's intentions. "There is this narrative that people like me could not get a guy like Guy," Cait explained. Guy dismisses their wariness, with the strength of his feelings: "Everyone has what they like," he said. Cait's parents even researched his Facebook ahead of meeting him for the first time. "My parents were very unsure," Cait said. "It's easy to pretend to be something that you are not [online]," Cait's mum Jacqueline admitted. "We were concerned," her dad Leon agreed. However, after meeting Guy for the first time their minds were changed: "We had a very good, positive feeling after you walked into our house," Jacqueline said. Guy has now been welcomed into the family and Cait has moved into his cottage. Now they work together on her OnlyFans account which Guy suggested she started. Cait explained: "OnlyFans is a recent thing I've started, I've been a content creator for about five years. We thought moving to OnlyFans would bring in some income." She is now Britain's smallest glamour model. Despite the boost in confidence this has given Cait she is wary of how some people online interact with her page. "There are a lot of people who fetishise dwarfism obviously as it's quite different. I have to be careful to not interact with it. But at the same time, if I don't, I'll lose my following on OnlyFans."

INFLUENCER and aspiring rapper Stephanie Palomares has spent half of a million dollars on perfecting her look in order to 'get more attention and make more money'. Stephanie, who has had 3 boob jobs and 5 rounds of BBL, said: "Growing up with so many sisters, it just made me competitive of who can get more attention and who could be the star in the family. So I just thought of creative ways to have the most attention." With over 2 million followers on Instagram alone, it's no surprise that the social media sensation is susceptible to criticism and hate. She said: "I can't fight with everyone. I just leave them up there and they fight with each other. It's funny, like my followers will fight for me in the comments and I find it very intriguing. Like, Wow, you guys love me or really hate me." Last year, Stephanie went under the knife again and had a floating rib removal. Stephanie was so happy with the results she is planning to have another procedure to have her full ribs removed. "I don't think I'll ever stop getting plastic surgery," Stephanie added. "I just want to keep myself looking how I want to look because at the end of the day, I go to sleep at night with myself and I get to wake up in my own body."

140K To Look Feminine - But We're Still Men | HOOKED ON THE LOOK
PLASTIC BESTIES Stefan and Patrick became fast friends after watching each other's Hooked On The Look episode. Together, they have spent €140,000 on plastic surgery. Although some of the procedures have been intended to feminise their features, the self-proclaimed 'German plastic boys' are perfectly happy with being boys. "A lot of people question me if I'm trans or a man or a woman," Patrick said. "I still identify as a man because I was born male and I don't want to change that, at least at the moment." Stefan added: "And we can still look feminine if we want to. Yes, we don't have to be trans for that and we don't have to be girls for that." Today Stefan and Patrick are getting themselves glammed up to shoot the cover for their upcoming podcast. What they don't know is that they have a surprise - from one of their biggest idols - waiting for them.

A House Fire Melted 60% Of My Body | SHAKE MY BEAUTY
KANISHA was just four years old when her family home caught on fire, tragically taking two of her brothers' lives. While Kanisha survived the accident, she sustained burns to 60% of her body. Speaking to Truly, she explained: "I also was burned down to the third layer of my skull, so I am able to grow my hair back. I lost an ear lobe and they had to take fingers from both hands as they were so badly burned." For Kanisha, her life-changing injuries meant that she was subjected to cruel taunts in the playground. "Kids were mean, they were bullies. They would pull my wigs off. I was never called by my first name. I was called 'the burned girl' or 'the girl with the lizard skin'", she explained. The negative comments knocked Kanisha's confidence and she admitted, "They made me feel like the world was a very cruel place. Because no matter how happy or how much I tried to boost myself up, when I went out into the world, people were still staring." However, when Kanisha became a mum, her kids totally changed her perspective on her appearance. She explained: "When your own children are born, they don't notice your scars. They know mum just how she was. So I stopped paying attention to my scars after that." In this episode of Shake My Beauty, we'll hear about Kanisha's journey and how accepting - and celebrating - how she looks, has totally transformed her life. Reflecting, Kanisha said: "You are you and that's what makes you beautiful."

My Husband Gave Birth To Our Children | MY EXTRAORDINARY FAMILY
SYVEN and Tori were not sure it was possible for them to conceive naturally after trying for a while but both were overjoyed when Syven got pregnant with their son, Prophet who is now one-year-old. Six months after Prophet’s birth, they conceived with their daughter Wynter, who is now one-month-old. Tori said: “My husband gave birth to our children.” Syven was assigned female at birth and started his transition at a young age. Tori is also trans and began her transition in her late teens. As a pregnant trans man, Syven received both positive and negative comments and difficult interactions in public - especially at doctor's appointments. He explained: “You’re a pregnant man sitting around a whole bunch of females, looking at you like ‘no, it can't be’, or ‘why?’ Or ‘is it possible you're faking?’ So it gets bad and very uncomfortable because you don't want to hide your pregnancy.” The couple have also faced misconceptions and judgement as parents with Tori being told she ‘will never be the mum.’ But the couple will not let this negativity faze them as Tori said: “People who made negative comments to us about being parents and being pregnant and trans? I think that they should keep their opinions to themselves and mind their business because our kids are going to be successful because we are.” They would like to see more support for pregnant trans people and their families and encourage other trans people considering having children to ‘go for it’.

I'm The One-Handed Fashion Guru For Celebs | SHAKE MY BEAUTY
QAYSEAN, 33, a rising New Jersey fashion designer, has transcended the challenges of his disability by turning it into a super ability. He was born with erb’s palsey in his left arm and hand which causes nerve damage preventing him from being able to move it. Qaysean was severely bullied saying “as a kid my confidence was shot” which resulted in him being reserved and introverted, he confided in comic books as he looked at superheroes as individuals who were misunderstood but had these powerful conditions that no one around them knew about. It wasn’t until he reached high school and started exploring fashion as a way of distracting people from his arm. He told Truly “it was important that I see myself in the best light for the world to see the greatness that I am”. Qaysean then went onto produce a fashion show for his school, this was the first time he felt people noticed him for him and not his disability, which kickstarted his passion for fashion. Qaysean has appeared on the popular Netflix series ‘Next in fashion’ and has made shoes/clothes for celebrity rappers. He feels fashion allows him to feel confidence and limitless and that his life isn’t about his disability but his ability to create amazing clothes: ‘I make clothes that bring people to life’, he wants individuals to feel beautiful and confident and believes he can do that for them through fashion.

3ft Actress Stopped Growing At 5 Years Old | BORN DIFFERENT
HOLLYWOOD actress, Ali Chapman, was born with hypochondroplasia - a rare form of dwarfism - and stands at 3ft 8" tall, meaning she often gets mistaken for a being child and has even played children in movies. Ali was "about five years old" when she "stopped growing" and remembers "trying to blend in" at high school, as she wasn't "comfortable in my own skin at that time". When Ali started out on her career, she could never have imagined walking red carpets and regular nights out with A-list stars, but she now lives in Los Angeles and has forged a successful career in the TV and film industry. Her big break came when she replied to an advert posted online, seeking "a little person for a body double and a stand-in for a major motion picture". That film turned out to be the blockbuster I Am Legend, starring Will Smith in the lead role. Producers asked Ali to send in photographs of herself and she soon received news back that she had been selected to act as body double to Willow Smith - who was six years old at the time. Ali explained to Truly: "There are scenes where [Will Smith] is picking his daughter up. She would come out of the scene and would be replaced by me... I'd be cheek-to-cheek with him... So that was pretty cool!" Since that "life-changing" experience, Ali has appeared in numerous TV and film roles, but many of those have been "character roles, a lot of costume work". She has played elves and leprechauns and feels she has been "pigeon-holed for those types of roles". Ali's aim is now to play her part in pushing Hollywood to cast little people in roles that could just as easily be played by an actor of average height. And after her appearance in an episode of Better Things - as a character who just happened to be a little person - Ali is on her way to achieving that goal. She told Truly: "You don't have to just have little people be these creatures... At the end of the day we are people with dignity, we are people that are just trying to make it just like everyone else."

I’m Addicted To Surrogacy - And I’ve Made $120k | MY EXTRAORDINARY FAMILY
KENEDI Smith, 28, has been a surrogate three times. She said: “I would say I am addicted to surrogacy.” She was first inspired to become a surrogate as she grew up seeing her own mum, Ellen, complete three surrogacy journeys. After she had her son, Kenedi started looking into how to become a surrogate when she was 21 years old. Ellen was concerned at first but then got on board with it and supported her daughter through the journeys. The pair started a podcast to share their stories and discuss topics related to, and inform listeners, about surrogacy. Kenedi said she loves being pregnant and going through delivery. She said: “I love being in the delivery room with them. That's my favourite part. And being able to watch them see their baby and meet their baby.” But Kenedi has also been judged for her role as a surrogate. She has received comments saying she is ‘messing up’ her own child, or that she’s ‘playing God’. People have also questioned her motivations - saying that she is only doing it for the money. Kenedi said: “People have accused me of selling my body.” But Kenedi asserts that she has been able to show her son different ways people can have a family and said: “My main motivation for doing multiple services is I can. It's my body, my choice.” Kenedi is in the process of beginning her fourth journey and is excited to be a surrogate again and to continue making an impact in the surrogacy world.

School Bullies Left Me Paralysed | BORN DIFFERENT
20-YEAR-OLD Chelsea was the victim of severe bullying all the way through high school - and it was often physical. Chelsea was first attacked by "two boys who were older than me" at the age of 14 - they punched her in the face and broke her jaw. A year later, while walking her dog in the park, Chelsea came across a group of teenagers and was confronted by a girl who accused her of "flirting with [her] boyfriend". As Chelsea turned to walk away, she felt the girl jump on her and remembers feeling "her elbow going into the side of my face". Both incidents resulted in jaw surgery - with doctors fixing screws and wires into Chelsea's jaw to hold it in place. Worse was still to come though, as the attacks had left her jaw weak and vulnerable. Just a couple of years later, when Chelsea went to spend time with her best friend Katie and the two started play-fighting, Katie's knee accidentally caught Chelsea in the side of her face. She immediately headed to hospital to prepare for her seventh surgery on her jaw - but she could never have predicted how "all Hell would break loose" post-surgery. Chelsea remembers how she woke up in her hospital bed and "couldn't feel my legs, it was like nothing was there" - and soon she was paralysed from her neck down. She was diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) - a life-changing condition that affects how the brain sends messages to the rest of the body. Chelsea underwent months of grueling rehabilitation and gradually regained mobility, but with some lasting symptoms. She continues to experience seizures, fatigue, chronic pain and her left wrist is affected by functional dystonia, leaving her with the use of only her finger and thumb on that hand. And when Chelsea took to TikTok to post about her situation and quickly gained a following, she was once again on the receiving end of negativity, with people accusing her of "faking it, attention-seeking". Through it all though, Katie has stuck by Chelsea, who feels that the "whole experience has made us closer". However, even after all these years, Katie still feels guilty for her part in Chelsea's life-changing diagnosis - and Truly filmed the pair talking about the accident for the first time on camera. Does Chelsea blame her friend at all for what happened, or will she finally be able to put Katie's mind at ease?

Plastic Surgery Got Me Detained At The Airport | HOOKED ON THE LOOK
AUSTRALIAN DRAG QUEEN and influencer Tomi Grainger has revealed that they had been detained at the airport multiple times as the border staff couldn't believe they were the same person as their passport photo. Tomi, who has splurged over $50,000 on plastic surgery, is the youngest person to undergo a facelift procedure in Australia in a bid to 'fix their elastic skin' as a result of drastic weight loss. During their school years, Tomi desperately wanted to alter their look in order to fit in with their peers. "To me, it was all about altering your appearance because when I did those things, people started to accept me a lot more," Tomi said. "I'm the first to admit that accepting myself is always something I always struggled with and I continue to struggle with. I don't think plastic surgery is the answer to that, but it does help." Although Tomi's made a name for themselves as a drag queen, Tomi's family, especially the siblings, still struggle to accept Tomi for who they are. Tomi added: "I wish that we would have a better relationship and that we could learn to understand each other. And also, I wish they didn't think that me getting plastic surgery makes me an awful person."

I Avoided Mirrors For 10 Years | SHAKE MY BEAUTY
FARAH was just eight years old when she was diagnosed with alopecia areata and by the age of 15, her hair had completely fallen out. She told Truly: "Alopecia is an autoimmune disease and it just means my immune system attacks the hair follicles which causes hair loss." Talking about losing her locks, Farah revealed: "It was really scary, it was just a constant thing to figure out how I was going to cover it and hide it." Subjected to cruel bullying at school, Farah hid her bald reflection from the world, even avoiding her reflection at home. She said: "I was a very insecure kid. I'd lock myself in the bathroom, cover the mirrors. I couldn't look at myself." When Farah studied jewellery design at university, she decided to speak about her alopecia journey for the first time by creating a collection inspired by her experience. Farah's tutor encouraged her to model each piece - which meant ditching the wig for the very first time. She admitted: "It feels extremely vulnerable when you let people see you without your wig on. That was the first time I'd let the world see me without my wig on." In this episode of Shake My Beauty, we'll gain a greater insight into Farah's alopecia journey and how she now proudly embraces - and loves - her bald head.
