Touring the MSC Bellissima Cruise Ship Day #2
Today our cruise ship docked in La Spezia near Cinque Terre. We decided not to sightsee today and instead give you a tour of the ship. So much to see! Multiple pools, lots of shops, the theater, ropes course, aqua park, and even diamond staircase! This cruise ship is like it's own miniature city. Let us know what you think in the comments.

European Roadtrip Vacation of a Lifetime Paris France Day #23
Today we are touring Paris. We only have one day so we had to pick a few of our must see places. I purchased tickets for the Eiffel Tower a month earlier and the only daytime hours available during our five days in the Paris area was 2:30 pm on this day. There were several days that 10:30 at night was available but we wanted to enjoy it in the daylight. So definitely get tickets ahead of time. It was much easier to get whatever time we wanted for our tickets to the Louvre. Checkout David's full length video on the Louvre as this is just a brief overview of our day. We ended the day at Notre Dame. So sad to see this giant beautiful church still heavily under construction three years out from the fire. The signage, on the walls that kept us out, was helpful to know the grand scale of the efforts being undertaken to return this cathedral to its former glory. Day #23 comes to a close and we only have a few days left as we travel across a few countries on our trip back home to Italy. I will probably be combining the last three days into one video because we saw some great things on the way home, including Lichtenstein. What was your favorite part of our journey? Let us know in the comments.

European Roadtrip Vacation of a Lifetime Liechtenstein Day 24, 25, & 26
Well all good things must come to an end. We were sad to say goodbye to our vacation but the memories will last a lifetime. I made a video featuring the last three days because we did a lot of driving on our way from France to Italy. We visited the Treasury of Liechtenstein as well as their national museum and their stamp museum. We had such a great trip and hope you enjoyed joining us through our videos. If you missed any of the roadtrip, definitely check out the videos here on our channel. My videos are just an overview of the places we went and the things we did. David will be releasing videos covering different locations more deeply. Look for these videos so far: Disneyland Paris Avengers Campus, Hank Pym's Restaurant, Nohoval Cove in Ireland, and the Louvre in Paris. More are being released every week. Make sure to like, subscribe, and comment. We love hearing new information and comments.

European Roadtrip Disneyland Paris Tips and Tricks Vacation Day #22
Today is our last day at Disneyland Paris and we are finishing like we started, at Walt Disney Studios. Some helpful and informative tips that we have learned. We loved our time at Disneyland Paris and although it's not Disney World in Florida, it is very comparable to Disneyland in California. One major difference was of course the use of both English and French. I loved how the shows made sure that English and French were both used in a way that everyone could understand but it didn't get repetitive. Today was a great day and tomorrow we are headed to Paris to see the Louvre and climb the Eiffel Tower.

European Roadtrip Disneyland Paris Park Ride Reviews Vacation Day 20

Disneyland Paris Day #2 for us and we are reviewing some of the different rides and comparing them to the parks in the States. There were too many to do in one video but I hope you enjoy.
Also, watch to the end for a treat. The 30th Anniversary Disney D-Light Drone Show was absolutely spectacular. The drones were definitely amazing and I am glad they didn't turn on us like the drones in Spiderman Far From Home, lol.
Let me know what your favorite rides are!

European Roadtrip Disneyland Paris Studio Park Rides Review Vacation Day 19
We made it to Disneyland Paris! Originally we had planned to visit Disneyland at the beginning of our roadtrip but then we found out that the official opening for the Avengers Campus was July 20th. So we decided to save Disneyland Paris for last. We have been to Disney World in Florida many times (last time in 2021) and even to Disneyland in California (2019). In this episode I am reviewing some of the rides that we haven't been on yet or that don't exist at the other parks we have been to. Tomorrow we are headed to Disneyland Paris Park and will review those ride differences. We have four day tickets so the last two days we will share our tips and tricks for both parks. Enjoy!

European Roadtrip Vacation of a Lifetime Dover, England to Calais, France Day 18
432 views Aug 23, 2022
So today a whole lot of nothing happened, lol. It was the first day of English summer holiday (July 22nd, 2022) and due to Brexit or there not being enough border agents, or all of the above, we waited 3 1/2 hours in traffic to get from the road in front of the ferry terminal to getting on the ferry. Later we found out that we actually didn't have much to complain about because some people waited up to 17 hours over the weekend! So thankful we made it onto a ferry and then to our destination by around midnight. Tomorrow we go to Disneyland Paris and the Avengers Campus just officially opened three days prior!

European Roadtrip Vacation of a Lifetime Hadrian's Wall United Kingdom Day 17
Today's video is pretty short because it was a drive day. One of the things on David's bucket list was visiting Hadrian's Wall. We stopped out Housesteads Roman Fort and saw the oldest most well preserved Roman public toilet in Britain along with the rest of the ruins of the fort. One of my favorite parts was walking through the countryside amongst the sheep. Tomorrow we continue the long drive to the Ferry from Dover to Dunkirk... except we don't actually end up in Dunkirk... I will explain tomorrow.

European Roadtrip Vacation of a Lifetime Edinburgh, Scotland Day 16
Today we have a short drive to Edinburgh for our last full day in Scotland. Pro tip: Buy tickets ahead of time for the Edinburgh Castle... I didn't and so we weren't able to go in because tickets were all sold out. But we did still have a great time seeing Edinburgh on the Hop on Hop off bus and also spotting the trail of giraffe's (we found 6). Lunch was wonderful at the Deacon Brodie Cafe and the Weaving Mill pictures were awesome! Favorite sites on this day were Arthur's Seat, Holyrood Palace, Edinburgh Castle, and David Livinston/Sir Arthur Scott memorials. Tomorrow we head to Northern England by way of Hadrian's Wall!

European Roadtrip Vacation of a Lifetime Loch Ness Beatrix Potter Scotland Day 15
Our trip continues and today we do a lot of driving but it is totally worth it. We drove through the Highlands to Loch Ness. Of course we took a boat ride and visited a museum. We also checked out Inverness and visited the Beatrix Potter Gardens on the way home. Too bad Balmoral closed at 5 pm because that would have been so much fun to see as well as we could have stopped on the way home. All in all it was an absolutely amazing day and tomorrow we head to Edinburgh!

European Roadtrip Vacation of a Lifetime Belfast C.S. Lewis and Scotland Kelpies Day 14
I love stopping for mini adventures on our journey! Today we found C.S. Lewis Square in Belfast which was super cool because of the C.S. Lewis history we had just experienced a few days before in Oxford. Then we took the Ferry to Scotland and drove along the coast for quite a while on what felt like the Scottish Amalfi Coast. We stopped for some time on the beach and later on saw signs for Robert Burns birthplace and museum so we stopped for a look around. Rebekah learned one of his most popular poems in school so she gave us a recitation. Our last mini adventure for the day was stopping to see the Kelpies along the interstate. We had such a wonderful travel day and can't wait to do it again tomorrow through the Highlands to Loch Ness!

Today we are driving up the Irish coast to Northern Ireland and headed to the city of Belfast. We are touring the Titanic Museum to learn more about the making of the Titanic. Then we tour the restored Nomadic which is the last white star ship still in existence. We found a children's science museum called the W5 (Who What When Where Why) within walking distance of the Titanic Musuem and ended our day there. Tomorrow we are taking a ferry to Scotland!

European Roadtrip Vacation of a Lifetime Cork, Ireland Day 12
There was so much to see in Cork, Ireland! We went to Blarney Castle to see the Blarney Stone and the beautiful gardens. We had a fantastic dinner at Thomond in Cork where I finally got some Cottage Pie and Bangers & Mash! Last stop was Nohoval Cove for a relaxing evening by the water. Tomorrow we will drive up to Northern Ireland and visit the Titanic Museum in Belfast. This vacation has been absolutely amazing. I can't believe we are about halfway through our roadtrip. We have been through seven countries already so if you missed any of our adventure, make sure to look back through the past episodes. And as always, don't forget to subscribe to our channel.

European Roadtrip Vacation of a Lifetime Dublin Ireland Day 11
Today we are in Dublin. We visited Trinity College and had an excellent tour. Then we got to see the book of Kels and the Long Room Library. Definitely a bucket list day! Lots of helpful tips if you are headed to Dublin anytime soon. If you are watching this after October 2022, the long library is scheduled to be closed for several years for renovations. We also toured Dublin on the hop on hop off bus and had a fun tour of Dublin's Little Museum. Tomorrow we are headed to Cork to see Blarney Castle and Nohoval Cove!

European Roadtrip Vacation of a Lifetime Wales to Ireland Day 10
Day 10 on our roadtrip and we left Wales, stopping to enjoy a beautiful small castle ruins, and headed to the ferry at Pembroke. The four hour ferry ride was long but beautiful. The roads are so beautiful in Ireland. Hedges along most country roads. We had a beautiful AirBNB in Wexford that we stayed at and tomorrow we will drive to Dublin. Ireland has been on my bucket list for as long as I can remember. Definitely a vacation of a lifetime.

European Roadtrip Vacation of a Lifetime Wales Kidwelly Castle Day 9
Well it's Day 9 already and we have been in seven countries so far. Today was our relaxation day in Wales. We toured Kidwelly Castle ruins. Spoiler alert, it is the castle from the first scenes of Monty Python and the Holy Grail. I did not realize that until I looked it up later but thought that was a fun fact. After touring the castle we found Pembrey Beach and played on the sand as the tide rolled in, very quickly. The water was so shallow it was definitely fun to splash around. The view was gorgeous but the water was quite cold so most of us didn't get very wet. Perfect end to a perfect day. Tomorrow we are once again loading our Mini Cooper onto a ferry and headed to my ultimate bucket list destination, Ireland!!

European Roadtrip Vacation of a Lifetime UK London England Day #7
Today is our second day in London and we have so much to see. We started the day by attending the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace. Then it was off to the London Eye followed by Sherlock Holmes House at 221b Baker Street. We visited Madame Tussaud's wax museum and took a lot of selfies. Next we took the tube over to Picadilly Circus and walked to China town for some yummy Chinese food. Last stop, the West End and Back to the Future the Musical at the Delphi Theatre. This was definitely another day filled with memories and tired feet but so worth it. Tomorrow we are traveling to Wales by way of Stonehenge!

European Roadtrip Vacation of a Lifetime UK London England Day #5
Day #5 was our first long day in a big city. We started out early taking the train from Swanley to Victoria Station in London. We saw so many things but some of the highlights were: Westminster Abbey Eversong, Big Ben and Parliment, The London Tower Bridge, The Glober Theater and Much Ado about Nothing, and The Tardis Police Callbox. Follow along on our fun day and there are lots of tips for anyone wanting to visit London. Day #7 is another busy day in London but before that we will go to Chawton to see Jane Austen's house tomorrow and all things Tolkien and C.S. Lewis in Oxford.
If you haven't been following along on our vacation, you can subscribe and watch the other episodes as well as be notified when the next ones come out. We have a LOT more to see in our 10 country European roadtrip!
P.S. I made most of the clothing we are wearing on this day in London :)

European Roadtrip Vacation of a Lifetime Belgium France England Day #4
Yesterday was a relaxing day and now today we are on the road again. Our earliest morning yet, we were up at 5:30am to get on the road since we wanted to stop at Flander's Field American Military Cemetery. Rebekah learned the poem "In Flander's Field" this year in English and we all agreed it was an important place to visit and pay our respects. Sadly, they weren't open yet when we got there and we had to get back on the road after our visit in order to make it to the ferry in time.
Next stop Calais, France Ferry over to the Cliffs of Dover in England. We visited the Cliffs of Dover and were able to see up close the white chalky mineral that we could see on the horizon as we boarded the ferry in France. After the Cliffs we continued on to our Hotel.
This was the first time on our trip that a hotel was actually cheaper than an AirBNB for us. Shout out to Premier Inn! This affordable hotel chain in the UK was clean and comfortable and had a delicious restaurant as well. Highly recommended!
Tomorrow we head into London City!

European Roadtrip Vacation of a Lifetime Aqualibi in Belgium Day #3
Day #3 is the first time on this trip that we aren't driving all day. We decided to take a relaxation day (it is a vacation after all) and go to the Aqualibi (pronounce by smooshing the words aqua and walibi together) indoor water park. The kids had so much fun in the water all day. Their favorite was the lazy river that was more of a rapids with no floats. The bumps and bruises from that fast paced water tunnel were well worth it.
After we finished at the waterpark we found the only drive thru we have ever seen in Europe other than McDonald's, KFC, and Burger King which are all American fast food. It was also one of the only food venues we could find that was open after 8pm. Another hazard of European travel, not as many places serve food late outside a big city.
On our way home we stopped at the Monument for the Battle of Waterloo. They were also closed but we got some fun pictures and Rebekah told us about all she had learned of Napolean in History class.
Come back for Day #4 when we embark on our first ferry across the English Channel and visit the White Cliffs of Dover on our way to London, England!
