Over the weekend, the woman, listed as Rho Bashe on Instagram, tearfully recalled the incident. She spoke of the physical assault on camera — while at the scene and while receiving medical treatment. Following the attack, Rho recorded a selfie video showing at least five other men in the vicinity of the incident scene. She began by saying she got hit in the face because she “wouldn’t give [the man] her number.” Amid her saying all the surrounding Black men “just watched,” one man shot back, “What you want us to do?” She responded that she wanted them “to be a man.” Eventually, she tells them, “f**k all y’all,” and seemingly walks away. It doesn’t appear that Bashe caught the assault on camera. At this time, it’s unclear if any other footage of the incident exists or if Rho will be pressing charges. The man who allegedly committed the assault has not been publicly identified. The decision comes eight years after the two filed for divorce. The “Monster’s Ball” actor must also pay Martinez 4.3% of any income she receives above $2 million, according to the dissolution document, which was filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court last week and was made public Tuesday. First Berry and then Martinez filed for divorce in October 2015 after two years of marriage. In 2013, they had a child together, Maceo Robert Martinez, now 9. The actors agreed to joint custody of Maceo, which means they share decision making on things such as their son’s school enrollment, doctor appointments and counseling, according to the settlement. The Oscar winner is required to pay for school tuition for Maceo, who is enrolled at Le Lycée Français de Los Angeles, a Westside Village private school that offers a French and international program. Berry’s current partner, Van Hunt, won’t be allowed to join the sessions if Maceo isn’t present. The settlement also hashes out further details about their son’s care, such as school pick-up times and locations and who gets their son on holidays, weekends and school breaks. On spring break and at Thanksgiving, for example, Berry gets Maceo on even-numbered years, while Olivier has him on odd-numbered years. 20-year divorce attorney exposes unfairness in Anthony Anderson's divorce. He explains what marriage really is. CALL IN with your opinion! Context: Anthony Anderson and his ex-wife Alvina Anderson have settled their divorce nearly 19 months after their second split, with the actor ordered to pay more than $200,000 a year in spousal support per their divorce settlement. In court documents obtained by PEOPLE, Anderson, 53, will pay his former spouse a monthly base amount of $20,000. However, should the black-ish actor's gross income be "in excess of $2,000,000 per year," he must pay Alvina 20 percent of that gross amount, which would increase her payment to $400,000. Per the court documents, Anderson will retain their property located in the Encino neighborhood of Los Angeles and a 2004 Land Rover. Alvina will keep a 2022 Mazda and their home in Houston. The former couple must also sell and split the proceeds of a cemetery plot located in L.A.'s Inglewood Park Cemetery. Anderson is also in possession of a Glock 19 firearm that is registered to Alvina, 52, and must be "turned into law enforcement within 30 days," per the court documents. The spouses had been married for 22 years before separating in 2022. Alvina previously filed for divorce in 2015, citing irreconcilable differences. In court documents obtained by PEOPLE at the time, she requested spousal support and listed their date of separation as April 1, 2014. She filed to dismiss the divorce petition in January 2017, having reconciled their marriage, according to E! News at the time. Alvina filed for divorce a second time on March 25, 2022, citing the date of their separation as "TBD." In the filing, she requested spousal support and for Anderson to pay her attorney's fees. Anderson responded to Alvina's request for divorce shortly after, listing their date of separation as Feb. 25, 2022, citing irreconcilable differences. The documents obtained by PEOPLE at the time stated that the Barbershop alum requested that spousal support be reserved for "future determination." However, he requested both parties cover the costs of their respective attorney's fees. They share two children, daughter Kyra, 27, and son Nathan, 22.

YNW Melly's Attorney Makes POWERFUL Opening Analogy to explain reasonable doubt! Context of case: One day into rapper YNW Melly’s double murder trial in Broward County, Florida, and all indications point to a contentious, knock-down, drag-out courtroom battle between the defense and the state. Melly, whose given name is Jamell Demons, is a 24-year-old member and co-founder of the YNW Collective. He stands accused of two counts of murder for the 2018 shooting and killing of his friends, and fellow collective members, Chris Thomas, 20, who was known as YNW Juvy, and Anthony Williams, 21, who was known as YNW Sakchaser. Prosecutor Kristine Bradley claimed the defendant himself actually bragged about and admitted to the deadly shootings in a direct message on Instagram. In the immediate aftermath of the violence, people were checking to make sure Melly wasn’t also hurt, she said. One direct message allegedly received by Melly asked: “Yo, homie. You good? Let me know something.” The state claims the rapper “succinctly” replied: “I did that. Shh.” Defense attorney David A. Howard sought to cast the state’s investigatory efforts as haphazard and their case as full of holes. “Prosecutors are given great power, endless resources to perform their mission of pursuing justice, but that’s not what occurred here,” Howard said. “What they will bring you is a case that is riddled with reasonable doubt, that is founded on an incompetent and incomplete investigation and exercised poor judgment at every turn. The state cannot prove beyond a reasonable doubt the allegations they have made, and there’s a reason for that.” Howard said the co-defendant in the case, Cortlen Henry, known as YNW Bortlen, repeatedly lied about the shooting to police and had gunshot residue on his hands – whereas his client had been honest. “There’s a difference between cases that are investigated and cases that are fabricated. Context: Rapper YNW Melly was set to appear in court Tuesday after his double murder retrial was delayed because his defense attorneys said South Florida prosecutors committed felony obstruction of justice. According to the defense attorneys, the prosecutors did not reveal that the lead detective in the rapper’s double-murder case had been previously accused of being willing to lie as he gathered evidence. On Tuesday, attorneys for the rapper requested for the hearing to be rescheduled for Wednesday, as one of the defense attorneys was reportedly in the hospital. Attorneys for Melly, whose legal name is Jamell Demons, on Friday asked Broward Circuit Judge John J. Murphy to remove the Broward State Attorney’s Office from the case and potentially dismiss it entirely. Jury selection in the retrial of the 24-year-old rapper was set to start this week, but the judge pushed it back a week on Friday and set hearings to deal with the obstruction allegations. The request from the defense attorneys comes after Assistant State Attorney Michelle Boutros, who works for the Broward office, testified Friday that she overheard Miramar Police Detective Mark Moretti, lead investigator in the case against Demons, ask a Broward County deputy to lie about being present when Moretti executed a search warrant outside his jurisdiction last October, forcibly seizing a phone from Demons' mother as part of a witness tampering investigation. Defense attorney Jamie Benjamin said that information should have been turned over to the defense because they could have used it to discredit Moretti during Demons’ recent murder trial, which ended in July with a hung jury. Federal judge agrees with @cardib and destroys Tasha K's @unwinewithtashak bankruptcy petition, financial life! 20-year attorney reviews Cardi B's attorneys' motions and the judge's ultimate ruling! Context: Tasha K reportedly took another loss in court this week. A federal court judge shot down the YouTube personality’s bankruptcy claims and ordered her to pay Cardi B the $4 million settlement she won in her defamation case. Tasha K filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in a Florida court last June. As part of the requirement to file for bankruptcy, she was forced to list some of her assets, which included a Chevrolet Silverado worth $46,000, furniture worth $2,750, clothes totaling $2,500 and $95 in a Chase account. Tasha allegedly owes an unknown amount of debt in back taxes to the IRS and $6,000 to American Express. Her other debts include an unknown amount of legal fees, $3,000 to Bank of America and $5,000 to Discover Bank. Tasha and her partner, who call themselves content creators, earn about $30,000 a month. Cardi B filed a lawsuit against Tasha K in 2019 after she said she posted multiple videos making false accusations about her. The court ultimately ruled Tasha was liable for defamation, invasion of privacy and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Tasha pointed out she doesn’t have money to pay the debt, but Cardi B still wants her to cough it up. Tasha K filed an appeal after she was ordered to pay but she lost it when the court determined she didn’t provide sufficient evidence to prove how there was an error in the trial. “Defendant asks for a new trial, saying that there was insufficient evidence for the jury verdict against her,” the appeals court said at the time. “But as she all but admits, she didn’t make either of the required post-verdict motions in the district court. She never tells us where in the 5500-page record the district court’s alleged errors can be found. Because Kebe’s brief falls well short of what we require, she has abandoned this argument.” Tasha K later apologized to Cardi B after losing her appeal in March, saying, “We lost the appeal against Cardi B sad day. But I’m gonna be alright. I appreciate all your love [and] support. Throughout this fight. Today we throw in the white flag. What happened will never happen again.
