Everyone struggles with anger to one degree or another. But not many people know what to do with their anger; unresolved anger leads to death and destruction. Relationships blow up, furniture breaks and murders result from fomenting anger. Genesis 4 tells the sad story of Cain, whose unresolved anger led to murder. Matthew 10:1 says, "Jesus summoned His twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every sickness." Did Matthew mean that Jesus' disciples could heal "every" disease?? In my experience, healing happens once in a long while. If we are to write the sentence above from our own experience, it would probably read, "Once in a while; it is Jesus's will to heal someone when we ask for it." Aren't we missing something? Should we expect "every" sickness to be cured when we pray like it was for those first disciples of Jesus? I am learning some new things on this topic that are getting results! "We no longer believe that kind of thing in this day and age." The "age of science" believed that it would make God irrelevant. Which Christian hasn't heard non-believers balk at the miracles in the Bible? We expect non-believers to not believe. But what about Christians? I think Christians, including myself, might be in for a bit of a shock when we learn how weird the truth might be.
