American Christians don't ask questions about Father Abraham. Abraham is nothing but an old man, a character in one of the old stories we don't read in the Bible. To us, Abraham has very little to do with Jesus and His sacrifice for us on the cross. Many of us came to Jesus without knowing of Abraham, and we have maintained our relationship with Jesus without any real further acquaintance with him. It's a problem that many don't see this situation as a problem. Jesus said that His followers would cast out demons (Mark 16:17-18), but you will rarely find a Christian in the United States of America who has actually done it. I have followed Jesus all my life, but only in the last year have I begun to cast out demons. Why is that? Because nobody taught me. "From the times of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been forcing its way in - and the men of force are trying to grab it!"
