Well, Lori Lightfoot's time as mayor of Chicago will go down in history. But not for the reason she would have hoped. Her time as mayor was disastrous, mainly because of a massive spike in crime that led to Chicago having more crime than L.A. and N.Y. Why do elected officials keep pushing the same soft on crime policies? At least we have elections so that the people's voices can be heard and democratic change can take place. Because of that, Lori Lightfoot is gone from office.

What really happened on January 6th? Is the term insurrection sufficient to describe it? Or hyped up rhetoric by the progressives in order to gain power? Have we been given all the information? Have you felt that the authorities have been transparent? In a constitutional republic, the people need to be informed. This is a government of the people, by the people after all. How can the people help run these institutions if they haven't been informed properly? January 6th raises a lot of questions in my mind. I'm not claiming I know all the answers, or that this wasn't a horrific event, I'm just asking questions that have not been sufficiently answered by the people whom we are supposed to trust. It seems like Tucker Carlson feels the same way. Kevin McCarthy, the new speaker of the house, is following through on promises to be transparent and releasing a trove of footage from security cameras on January 6th to Tucker Carlson. Soon the public will have access to previously confidential footage that will hopefully answer many questions about January 6th.
