It brought up a lot of memories from my childhood and adolescence that I felt needed further examination. Looking back, I have discovered and realized many things that had not occurred to me or that I could not admit before. As usual, I have a lot to say on the topic. Please be aware this stream will deal with issues of child abuse, child sexual abuse/assault, neglect, victim shaming, self-destructive behaviors, suicide, and shame. So many won't even approach a female for fear of getting wrongfully slapped with a harassment charge. Then we gripe that men don't seem interested anymore. It's a problem of our own making. #MeToo was weaponized and served to give power to those who'd abuse it, while robbing those who legitimately needed it. They made flirting a crime.
