I just finished watching the docuseries/exposé “Quiet on the Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV” on MAX and it left me shaken to the core. It brought up a lot of memories from my childhood and adolescence that I felt needed further examination. Looking back, I have discovered and realized many things that had not occurred to me or that I could not admit before. As usual, I have a lot to say on the topic. Please be aware this stream will deal with issues of child abuse, child sexual abuse/assault, neglect, victim shaming, self-destructive behaviors, suicide, and shame. There will undoubtedly be triggering moments and discussions regarding highly sensitive, emotional material. Do NOT enter this stream unless you are prepared to be respectful, sensitive, and honest while hearing/saying/witnessing verbal recounts of actual experiences with multiple forms of childhood abuse.
