Four more major U.S. companies are displaying their wokeness on transgender issues at the same time Bud Light becomes a corporate punch line.
4 More Companies Go ‘Full Bud Light’
While major banks downgrade Anheuser-Busch’s stock and Bud Light becomes a corporate punch line, a quartet of CEOs seems all too happy to join them. As the beer company implodes under the weight of a national boycott, its cautionary tale seems lost on four companies who’ve decided to follow transgender advocacy straight to financial insolvency. Who are the brands foolish enough to ride Bud Light’s tattered coattails?
1. Target
One of the first companies to stick out their necks for the LGBT agenda, Target was woke before woke was a word. So, it shouldn’t surprise anyone that the chain that introduced a controversial line of “Love Is Love” shirts way back in 2012 was ready to board the transgender train. Back then, retail analyst Britt Beemer warned that the Target strategy isn’t “very smart,” especially in conservative states, where it does the biggest business. “Anytime a retailer gets away from doing what they should be doing by being involved in a social cause, [they lose].”
Target got a taste of that last year, when the mega-retailer—that helped launch the war on gender six years ago with its mixed-gender bathrooms and fitting rooms—decided to fill its racks with things to help young people reject the biological sex God gave them. From chest binders that strap down breasts to compression underwear to hide bulges for boys, Target is taking direct aim at America’s children.
Now, the soulless company is inviting new outrage with a trans line of clothes and books. With colorful messages like “Trans people will always exist!”, “Queer! Queer! Queer! Queer!”, “Cure transphobia, not trans people,” and “Ask me about my pronouns,” Target is putting itself in the bullseye.
There are baby bodysuits, rompers, mugs, and a collection of books that would put most moms on the warpath. “My Sister Daisy,” which is about a boy learning how to treat his younger brother’s “gender [transition] with compassion,” is recommended for 5- to 7-year-olds, while “The Hips on the Drag Queen Go Swish, Swish, Swish” clocks in even younger (4-8).
The activist group Gays Against Groomers didn’t hold back its fury. “We hope there are enough parents out there that understand how wrong this is and show them that this garbage will not sell,” it urged its hundreds of thousands of followers. “The only thing these people understand is money. Target deserves the Bud Light treatment. We will work to put the pressure on them.”
2. Levi Strauss
Last fall, Jennifer Sey, a longtime Levi’s executive, wrote a blockbuster book about the radical undercurrent at America’s oldest jeans company called “Levi’s Unbuttoned: The Woke Mob Took My Job But Gave Me My Voice.” Sey’s candid, behind-the-scenes tell-all made quite a splash, especially her frank assessment of upper management’s radical politics.
“Today’s executives reared these kids with an ‘I’m not your dad, I’m your friend’ parenting philosophy, and they chase their children’s approval,” she writes. “They want to impress their woke kids with their own progressive bona fides.”
Their latest idea? A gender-neutral clothing line. CEO Chip Bergh announced the idea this month, dismissing any fears about “a Bud Light-type backlash” against the 170-year-old company. Unisex clothing, he argued, is the wave of the future in a supposedly trans-accepting society.
“We are building out slowly,” he explained to Axios. “It started with a small collection of gender-neutral or gender-fluid lines, and there’s definitely consumer appetite for that,” Bergh claimed. “And we are here for that.”
Of course, this isn’t the first time Levi’s has rolled the dice on sexual politics. Its first foray into the trans market was 2017 with a collection called Line 8. Since then, it has only leaned harder into the fad, posting a guide to unisex shopping in 2019. (Like every other company on this list, its extremism also extends to abortion politics.)
As Sey warned, the tentacles of radicalism run deep at Levi’s—thanks in part to the younger generation of workers there, whom she calls “ideological terrorists” who are “policing their peers and elders relentlessly.” Company leaders, she insists, “are unwilling to stand up to them.”
“Most CEOs lack the moral courage to hold their ground,” Sey wrote. “Because they know, deep down, that they aren’t do-gooders, and they don’t want that curtain lifted.”
3. Starbucks
Anyone who’s ordered a cup from the iconic green mermaid has been fueling more than their caffeine fix—they’ve been financing the movement to “transgender” our sons and daughters. After a divisive pronoun campaign in 2019 called #WhatsYourName, the mega-retailer one-upped America’s other woke CEOs last year by offering to ship employees’ children out of state to “change” their sex.
A statement from the company’s Sara Kelly announced that Starbucks is committed to the most outrageous forms of corporate activism—including paid travel for transgender surgery. “Regardless of where you live or what you believe, partners enrolled in Starbucks health care will now be offered reimbursement for eligible travel expenses when accessing abortion or gender-affirming procedures when those services are not available within 100 miles of a partner’s home.”
Now, a year later, Starbucks, whose philanthropic partners include an advocate for child sex changes, is taking its campaign to mutilate children to the world.
On May 9, Starbucks India ignited a global firestorm after releasing an ad openly celebrating gender-reassignment surgery. In the commercial, which has more than a million views, a mom and dad meet with their son, who now identifies as a girl, at the coffee shop. They all listen as the barista calls out a drink for “Arpita,” their son’s new name—meant to be a sign that his parents, who placed the order, accept his new female identity. “For me, you are still my kid,” the father says. “Only a letter has been added to your name,” he said, reaching out for his son’s hand.
Underneath, the Indian caption reads, “Your name defines who you are—whether it’s Arpit or Arpita. At Starbucks, we love and accept you for who you are. Because being yourself means everything to us. #ItStartsWithYourName.”
An Australian-based pundit, who’s watched Bud Light’s fall from grace, couldn’t believe Starbucks would be crazy enough to jump on the burning bandwagon. They’re going “full Bud Light,” he warned. “If saturating the market with a mediocre U.S. coffee brand wasn’t bad enough,” Rukshan Fernando tweeted, “now they are bringing their woke corporate culture to the Sub-Continent.”
Others pointed out the coffee company’s hypocrisy, since “Starbucks in Saudi [Arabia], UAE, and Qatar have been around much longer than India. Yet you will never see them place such ads there.”
Then there was Indian celebrity Nuance Bro, who urged locals to walk away. “Alright, India, here’s your chance to resist properly. … Do not let this programming gain a foothold.”
But it’s not as if Starbucks’ agenda is a surprise. The liberal business has never truly cared about kids—not after spending thousands of dollars helping Planned Parenthood abort them—or working to deprive them of a married mom and dad. Still, if the wave of opposition to the transgender agenda on both sides is any indication, something’s brewing at Starbucks—and that’s trouble.
4. Sports Illustrated
Men who pick up a copy of the 2023 swimsuit edition hoping to see actual women at the beach are in for quite a surprise with this year’s edition. Instead of a biological woman on the cover, the woke magazine opted for Kim Petras, a busty man who underwent “gender-transition” surgery at age 16.
“I was so excited when I got the call to be in Sports Illustrated,” Petras, a German-born singer, told Sports Illustrated. “It’s very iconic, and a lot of very iconic people have done it before, so [it was a] big dream come true for me.”
Asked about the pushback he might get, 30-year-old Petras replied, “It’s definitely a scary time to be transgender in America, but there’s also so much more representation than there’s ever been, and there’s so many things on the bright side.”
Back in 2006, the singer was considered “the world’s youngest transsexual” after he appeared on a television show describing his transition, which started with hormones at just 12 years old.
For Sports Illustrated, who’s no stranger to controversy, this isn’t the first time the magazine has pushed the envelope with a transgender model. Leyna Bloom landed the cover job in 2021. Readers were irate—but the criticism obviously fell on deaf ears.
“There is no theme [to this year’s issue],” Editor-in-Chief MJ Day explained this time around, “Rather, there is a vision, a sentiment, a hope that women can live in a world where they feel no limitations, internally or externally.” These women share “certain common traits,” she insisted. “They’re constantly evolving.”
Evolving is one way to put it, critics lashed out. Is no space that’s historically been reserved for women—no traditions, jobs, sports, or products—sacred anymore?
“The 2023 Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition cover model is a biological man with fake boobs,” Wisconsin activist Scarlett Johnson posted. “I really hope men are #Done with Sports Illustrated.”
Over at Rebel News, Ezra Levant joked, “I guess the Bud Light ad wizards had to land somewhere.”
Meanwhile, consumers can’t help but wonder: Who in their right mind would follow Bud Light down this fatal road? A single can with the wrong partner sent Anheuser-Busch into a nationwide tailspin—with no relief in sight. As other brands watch that five-alarm fire destroy the brand’s reputation, others are reaching for the same hot stove.
Why?
Family Research Council’s Joseph Backholm believes it’s because “progressives are true believers.” “They don’t just say the key to happiness is a world in which truth is personal and everyone gets to be who they want to be. They really believe it,” he told The Washington Stand. “They believe it so strongly they’re even willing to temporarily lose money along the way.”
“There’s actually a lot for Christians to learn here,” he insisted. “Do we believe the truth as much as they believe lies?”

Architects Registration Board Insisting On WHAT
Locals = https://sweethomesa.locals.com/
POPULIST REVOLT = https://populistrevolt.com
https://dailysceptic.org/2022/11/17/why-is-the-architects-registration-board-insisting-on-fealty-to-climate-change-orthodoxy-as-a-condition-of-qualifying-as-an-architect/
A rather boring organization that regulates the architectural profession has quietly and unobtrusively got on with its business for years… unnoticed, unloved and uncared for. Until recently, that is.
In the last few years, the Architects Registration Board (ARB), the body whose primary duty is to regulate the use of the word ‘Architect’, has been given a mandate from the Government to respond to the politically awkward fall-out from the Grenfell Tower tragedy. As a result, it has been given more money, more authority and more visibility than ever before. It is increasing its staffing and its budget, but more importantly it is increasing its backroom influence. With random authority handed to a sleepy organisation that has long considered itself to be second fiddle to the more public-facing Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), such power has quickly gone to its head.
The ARB is unapologetically interfering in university education and legitimizing its interventionist actions on the basis that there has been an extensive ‘consultation’. The consultations, of course, have predominantly been engaged in by interest groups that have mobilized to control the parameters of the narrative in their favor. On the issue of dealing with sustainability, for instance, the consultation has resulted in a national policy that says ‘Environmental Sustainability’ must now be included at every level of an Architecture undergraduate, postgraduate and professional diploma education.
Architecture students must be taught, inter alia:
• The principles of climate science
• The importance of advocating for sustainable or regenerative design solutions
• The relationship between social sustainability, social justice and environmental sustainability
• How to design to preserve, integrate and enhance natural habitats which encourage biodiversity and support access to green infrastructure space for communities
• Appropriate renewable technologies
• The use of onsite renewable energy generation or further offsetting, to achieve decarbonization
If you have not been taught these matters – and if you cannot demonstrate that you have learned these environmental rules – then you will be refused access to the Register of Architects. In other words, you will not be allowed to qualify as an architect. In effect, students will be compelled to repeat a mantra in order to pass. There may be ways of pretending to jump through these ARB hoops, but its environmental criteria will still be the frame of reference.
As a result, the concept of academic freedom, long held to be the essence of a university education, is nowhere to be seen. Students and staff are no longer allowed to make up their own minds on environmental matters… if they want to pass. Regardless of the Higher Education (Freedom of Speech) Bill trundling its way through Parliament at the moment, the everyday reality in most architecture departments is that free expression and the freedom to disagree are no longer sacrosanct. Instead of critical enquiry, we have environmental advocacy as the only permissible answer.
In order to sweeten the pill, the ARB insists that “there is no assumption that this Guidance will be used as a curriculum in itself” but it understands “that some institutions will need to make changes to the structure and content of their qualifications. Those changes will need to be properly planned and resourced.”
To justify this brazen intrusion into each academy’s curriculum – into intellectual inquisitiveness, experimentation, ethical enquiry and critical engagement – the ARB confidently points out that there were 48 responses to the sustainability consultation. (There are over 42,000 architects in the UK.)
Institutional responses came from the following environmental lobby groups, already firmly embedded in the mainstream of architectural discourse:
• Architects Declare
• Architects Climate Action Network
• Sheffield School of Architecture Students for Climate Action
• Newcastle Students Climate Action Network
• Westminster University Climate Action Network
In the interests of full disclosure, there were 26 other responses from architects, including 12 academics (myself included). But it seems clear that a tiny minority of environmental activists have imposed their views on architecture departments across the country.
For years a sleepy organization, the ARB has become a monster and is reveling in its position as the gatekeeper of formal, acceptable debate on climate literacy and environmental sustainability.

Texas Supreme Court Latest Ruling

The Texas Supreme Court ruled on Tuesday that Harris County should include over 2,000 votes that were cast during an extended one-hour period of voting on Election Day in its certified election results.
The court also ordered the county to determine whether the votes cast later would affect the outcome of any races.
In a temporary order (pdf), the court ordered Harris County, the most populous county in Texas, must count ballots as required under Texas law and to “separately identify in the vote tabulations the number of ‘later cast votes’ for each candidate in each race and for or against each proposition.”
This, the court said, is “so that candidates, the parties, and this Court may ascertain whether the ‘later cast votes’ would be outcome-determinative and so that the parties can assess the extent to which further litigation is warranted.”
“Respondents are ordered to provide the Court with a copy of the canvass results, including the separately tabulated ‘later cast votes,’ as soon as they are available,” the order reads.
Approximately 2,073 votes were cast during the extended voting period on Election Day under which polls were open past 7 p.m.
Texas state law states that polls shall be opened at 7 a.m. for voting and closed at 7 p.m.
The decision to keep the polls open longer came after a group called the Texas Organizing Project, along with the Texas Civil Rights Project and the American Civil Liberties Union of Texas, asked a district court judge to do so, alleging that dozens of polling stations across the county had opened late that morning.
Tuesday’s ruling came after Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, a Republican, had submitted an emergency request asking the court to prohibit the ballots cast during the extension period in the midterm elections from being counted.
Paxton’s petition (pdf), which names the Harris County Commissioners Court, Harris County judge, and county elections administrator as respondents, was filed just one day before the election results were set to be certified.
In it, Paxton claimed that the ballots cast during the one-hour-long polling hours extension violated Texas law.
Paxton also pointed to elections in Harris County being plagued with multiple issues, including paper ballot shortages, and technical issues.
“A trial court’s last-minute intervention only made matters worse,” Paxton wrote. “Three hours before the close of the polls in Harris County, the Texas Organizing Project filed an emergency petition and application in a Harris County trial court seeking an order extending voting hours at polling locations across the entire county.”
“Less than an hour before polling locations were set to close, the court extended voting hours one hour beyond the statutorily mandated 7:00 p.m. closing time. The State moved as quickly as possible to stem the damage from the unlawful TRO, and this Court almost immediately issued a stay order. But by the time the stay order [was] issued, it was too late to unwind the clock. The result was that some ballots were cast in violation of the Election Code,” Paxton wrote.
Paxton added that the trial court had also “acted without authority.”
The court on Tuesday stopped short of dismissing Paxton’s petition to have the late-cast votes thrown out in future elections.
The Epoch Times has contacted Paxton’s office for comment.
In an interview on Tuesday, Harris County Attorney Christian D. Menefee said the provisional ballots cast after 7 p.m. on Nov. 8 should be counted, adding that they are “still perfectly legal” and there is “nothing in the law that prohibits them from being counted.”
Meanwhile, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has called for the Texas secretary of state, attorney general, and Texas Rangers to investigate how Harris County runs elections amid alleged “improprieties” in the way the latest elections were conducted.

US Immigration Agency Changes Mission, Removes Key Phrases
A key federal agency on Feb. 10 changed its mission statement, removing several key phrases.
The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) “upholds America’s promise as a nation of welcome and possibility with fairness, integrity, and respect for all we serve,” the new mission statement says.
Under the old statement, the agency was described as “administer[ing] the nation’s lawful immigration system, safeguarding its integrity and promise by efficiently and fairly adjudicating requests for immigration benefits while protecting Americans, securing the homeland, and honoring our values.”

Police Beating of Unconscious Trump Supporter Was ‘Objectively Reasonable,’ Department Rules - Police Beating of Unconscious Trump Supporter Was ‘Objectively Reasonable,’ Department Rules
The Internal Affairs investigation was opened in September 2021 based on a complaint filed by a Texas man who assembled video evidence of the officer striking an unconscious Rosanne Boyland with a steel baton and a large wooden stick at the entrance to the West Terrace tunnel at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.
Boyland, 34, of Kennesaw, Ga., was pinned under a pile of protesters who fled the tunnel when police deployed a crowd-control gas. After several minutes of being crushed by the weight of other fallen protesters, Boyland lost consciousness and stopped breathing, witnesses have said. As Boyland lay unconscious on the ground DC Metro Police Officer Lila Morris repeatedly struck her with a steel baton and what appeared to be a wooden walking stick, according to a video recording. “She’s gonna die! She’s gonna die! …I need somebody! She’s dead!” Winchell cried. Boyland was not pronounced dead until more than 90 minutes later.
Testimony before a Congressional committee suggested police attempted CPR at 4:26 p.m., which wasn’t possible since at that time Boyland still lay on the concrete outside, being given CPR by protesters Jake Lang and Ronald McAbee.
“The use of force within this investigation was determined to be objectively reasonable,” wrote Capt. David K. Augustine, director of the Risk Management Division of the MPD Internal Affairs Bureau. “There is nothing reasonable about hitting a non-responsive woman lying on the ground over the head with a baton,” Anderson, 26, told The Epoch Times.

Kansas legislature overrides governor's veto on new House maps
Kansas House Republicans voted Wednesday to force new U.S. House district maps into law, overriding Gov. Laura Kelly's (D) veto by a narrow margin in a move likely to cost Democrats a seat in Congress.
Republicans got off to a rough start Monday (2/7), when the state Senate fell a few votes short of mustering the necessary supermajority to implement the new maps, though they cajoled a few recalcitrant senators into changing their votes on Tuesday (2/8). By Wednesday (2/9), House Republicans mustered 85 votes to override the veto, one more than the 84 they needed to do so.
The new maps will make substantial changes to district lines in Wyandotte County, the state's largest and home of Kansas City. Currently, Wyandotte County makes up most of a district held by Rep. Sharice Davids (D), the lone Democrat to represent the state in Congress. The new map would divide Wyandotte County along Interstate 70, relocating a substantial number of Davids's current constituents into a neighboring district held by Rep. Jake LaTurner (R). Davids's district would move south and east, picking up parts of Miami County and all of Franklin and Anderson counties - all three conservative bastions that former President Trump carried easily in 2020.

Roberts’s Grip Slips as Supreme Court Conservatives Curb Voting Rights
From Bloomberg News
Chief Justice John Roberts was once in the vanguard as the U.S. Supreme Court rolled back the Voting Rights Act. But as his more conservative colleagues showed Monday in restoring a Republican-drawn Alabama congressional map, Roberts is no longer in control.
Roberts joined the three liberal justices in dissent as the court blocked a lower court ruling that said the landmark 1965 law required Alabama to have a second heavily Black district.
“The chief justice’s opinions signal that while he doesn’t necessarily disagree with the direction in which his conservative colleagues are going, he does not agree with how they’re getting there,” said David Strauss, a constitutional law professor at the University of Chicago law school. “They are moving too quickly, without paying enough attention to the proper role of the Supreme Court, and, in the Alabama voting rights case, without the respect due to very conscientious lower court judges.”
The Alabama dispute is the first Supreme Court test for the new districts being drawn around the country to govern the next decade’s elections. The case could affect Texas, where President Joe Biden’s administration is challenging the state’s voting maps.

New York (CNN Business)Omicron threw a wrench into America's economy at the start of 2022: The US private sector lost hundreds of thousands of jobs in January, according to Wednesday's ADP Employment Report.
The loss of 301,000 private-sector positions came as a surprise to economists who had predicted businesses had added 207,000 jobs. It was also the first decline in the ADP report since December 2020.
So CNN Jan job numbers reported 301,000 jobs LOST. Yet Feds reporting a job gain of 467,000, yet stocks didn’t respond as always to a positive growth!

Stocks mixed following shockingly strong jobs report
9:35 a.m. ET, February 4, 2022 From CNN Business' Paul R. La Monica
Stocks opened mixed Friday morning after the US government reported that 467,000 jobs were added last month, much better than expected. Yet the solid numbers may raise fears that the Federal Reserve will have to boost interest rates more rapidly to fight inflation. Bond yields spiked after the jobs report.
The Dow fell 0.2%, or about 85 points.
The S&P 500 was flat.
The Nasdaq Composite rose 0.5%.
The jobs news overshadowed strong earnings from tech companies Amazon (AMZN), Snap (SNAP) and Pinterest (PINS). All three stocks rallied Friday morning, rebounding from big losses Thursday after Facebook owner Meta Platforms (FB) shocked the market by reporting a drop in daily users and a poor outlook.

How did economists miss the mark, yet again, on jobs report predictions?
From CNN Business' Allison Morrow
The big theme of the January jobs report: Surprise! All bets were on a tepid 150,000 jobs added. Instead we got 467,000.
And it wasn’t just January. It turns out November and December were far stronger than the Labor Department had initially reported — like, more than 700,000 jobs stronger over those two months. So what happened?
First, let’s break down the revisions for December. The gap between expectations and reality led to a disappointing result:
Expectations: 400,000 jobs added
Initial report: 199,000 jobs added
Revised report: 510,000 jobs added (or added 311,000! More than 2.5 initially reported)
The November gap was also significant:
Expectations: 550,000 jobs added
Initial report: 249,000 jobs added
Revised report: 647,000 jobs added (or added 398,000! More than 2.5 times initially reported)

Attorneys Report Spike in Calls for Help From Families of Patients Hospitalized With COVID-19

Attorneys Report Spike in Calls for Help From Families of Patients Hospitalized With COVID-19
Attorneys around the country report an alarming uptick in calls for help from families of patients hospitalized withCOVID-19. Some say they’ve talked to family members who were arrested after trying to visit a loved one or to speak with a doctor after communications with the hospital were cut off.
Attorneys told The Epoch Times about a wide variety of instances of what they call abuse, including hospitals preventing visits from family, failing to provide nutrition and fluids, and coercing patients to agree to treatments they’d already refused multiple times—such as being placed on a ventilator.
Gainesville, Florida, attorney Jeff Childers said “The most common complaints we get include that patients are being pressured to acceptRemdesivir, have been given Remdesivir even though they objected to it, or the hospital will not administer alternative widely-used treatments even though the patient is in critical condition where side effects are less risky than imminent death.”
Attorney Esther Bodek in Aurora, Colorado had clients denied fluids and nutrition to the point of near-starvation.Since taking those cases she works night and day seven days a week.
Omaha, Nebraska attorney Gerard Forgét said Hospitals often ask patients being admitted to sign a health care directive or living will indicating, in advance, decisions about whether or not to be put on life support.“I advise clients against this,” Forgét said. Signing one of those documents “vests your physician with authority that supersedes your spouse, or other family members. This can yield tragic results!” Giving a physician that power means he or she can remove life support without consulting family, he says.“Signing that gives your physician permission to kill you!”

Infection, Hospitalization Gap Narrows Between Unvaccinated and Vaccinated: Study
https://www.theepochtimes.com/infection-hospitalization-gap-narrows-between-unvaccinated-and-vaccinated-study_4251934.html?utm_source=morningbriefnoe&utm_campaign=mb-2022-02-03&utm_medium=email&est=2yxgcwdx9MlJNDfKxDnPFo11C8Q0WH1dEj62gI0M%2FwOG%2Fd9mqEjrWyqpZigZ32eErYz8aQ%3D%3D
Infection, Hospitalization Gap Narrows Between Unvaccinated and Vaccinated: Study
The protection from vaccines against the virus that causes COVID-19 dropped following the emergence of the Omicron virus variant, but held up better against hospitalization, according to a new study.
While the Delta variant was still dominant in the United States, COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations among unvaccinated people were 3.8 times and 12.9 times, respectively, those among vaccinated people without a booster, researchers inCaliforniafound.
The gap between unvaccinated and vaccinated people who received a booster was even wider, with unvaccinated people experiencing infections 12.3 times and hospitalizations 83 times the rate of the metrics in the vaccinated and boosted group.
For Omicron, COVID-19 case incidence among the unvaccinated was just 2 times higher than the vaccinated, while hospitalization incidence was 5.3 times higher. Compared to boosted persons, unvaccinated had 3.6 times higher case rates and 23 times higher hospitalization rates.
Thestudy, published as a Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) report, examined a cross-section of residents in Los Angeles County age 18 or higher who tested positive for COVID-19 between Nov. 7, 2021, and Jan. 8.
Other studies and data analyses have indicated the primary series of the COVID-19 vaccines provide little protectionagainst infectionfrom Omicronand offer reduced but still strong protection against severe disease.
But some data on boosters suggest the restored protection, particularly against infection, begins waning just weeks or months after administration. The new study didn’t include an analysis of how long booster protection lasts but it’s an open question, Dr. Peter Gulick, an infectious disease expert at Michigan State University said.
The rolenatural immunity, or the protection from getting COVID-19 and recovering, also wasn’t studied by the California researchers, but it likely plays a part in the narrowing of the gap between the unvaccinated and vaccinated, according to Dr. Adam Cifu, professor of medicine at the University of Chicago.

FDA Document on Moderna Vaccine Approval Removed From Agency’s Website
A Food and Drug Administration (FDA) document explaining why the agency approved Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine was removed from the agency’s website overnight.
The Summary Basis for Regulatory Action gave more details on how regulators reached the approval decision, and included references to an unpublished analysis that found the rates of post-vaccination heart inflammation were higher than any U.S. agency had found before.
After The Epoch Times reviewed the document and sent questions about it to FDA spokespersons, it disappeared from the agency’s website.
“We are aware of the issue and hope to have the document reposted as soon as possible,” a spokesperson told The Epoch Times in an email on Thursday.

North Carolina Agrees to Release Records Showing Foreigners Voted
Records that show foreigners registered to vote—and actually voted in North Carolina elections—will be disclosed by the state’s board of elections as a result of its legal settlement with an electoral integrity group.
The Jan. 31 announcement that a settlement (pdf) had been reached came weeks after Garbant Piquant of Garner, N.C., was arrested and charged with falsely claiming to be a U.S. citizen in order to register to vote, voting by an alien, and passport fraud.
Authorities say the Bahamas native, who is not a U.S. citizen, voted in every primary and general election from 2018 through 2020.
“This is a huge win for transparency in North Carolina’s elections,” Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF), president J. Christian Adams said. “These records conclusively show that foreigners have been registering to vote and voting in North Carolina elections.”
PILF boasts that it has been “uncovering government records showing foreigners voting across the United States including in Pennsylvania, Texas, New Jersey, and California.”
