Ahh yes, the Beautiful and ancient city of Rome. This is part of my pilgrimage series in Europe. I travel three countries: Italy, France and Spain. And visit many sites including Rome, Lourdes and walk the Santiago de Compostela pilgrimage.

Introduction video. I embarked on an adventure in Europe where I traveled across three countries: Italy, France and Spain. I traveled along the coast of the Mediterranean and finished it off with a 500 mile pilgrimage -whew - right across the whole country of Spain. The pilgrimage is the Camino de Santiago. In this video I talk a bit about it.

Will talks about a few things in this video including a day in Genoa Italy (with a few pictures). It is the birthplace of Christopher Columbus. Travel can take a lot out of you. You have to make a conscious decision to relax and slow down so you can enjoy it more.

It is amazing what you can make with cardboard. This telescope doesn't really work as a telescope but it looks good. And it is a copy of the telescope I have wanted all my life. I will get one and this replica is how I start the visualizing of the goal. What can you make with cardboard? Just about anything!! I am working on the world's greatest cardboard castle and this is the cathedral/keep part of it. Added: 2 servos to slowly open and close the main doors 1 special recording unit with speaker to play bach lights (LED's) on the inside of the cathedral

Humanity is a tapestry of people. Each doing his or her part in a contribution to the whole. When we think of the Renaissance we think of the greats like Michelangelo, DaVinci, and Galileo. But it took many people to make the Renaissance happen. Some even gave their lives for it. On my pilgrimage in Europe I spent the first three days in Rome. And of course I visited the Vatican Museum which includes the Sistine chapel. In this video I show you lots of pictures and talk about some revealing insights I had during my visit there. All of these pictures and many more of Rome and the Vatican will be made available to you in an upcoming post. Interesting though, we venture into the Sistine Chapel in this video but they don't allow any pictures of vids in there so I had to get some from Wikipedia. You will see. You probably have heard of DaVinci, Michelangelo and Galileo. But have you heard of Bernini? He was another one of those Geniuses that left an indelible mark on Italy and in particular Rome. I recently returned from a profoundly beautiful (and brutal) trip to Europe. I spent ten weeks there and visited Italy, France, and Spain. For more than a thousand years pilgrims have been walking the way of saint James in Spain. And as proof of their pilgrimage they displayed a scallop shell on their packs. I am going on this pilgrimage and rather than buying a scallop shell I thought it would be unique and different to carve a shell.
