Slightly late, but still worthy of the review… #aquietplacedayone is absolutely INCREDIBLE! Seriously one of the best films of the year! An EPIC sequel to the (hopefully) continued franchise we all know to be #aquietplace that scared the hell out of us because we needed to stay QUIET! Albeit it is a prequel, this film tells a different perspective and only furthers the craziness that would take place if we saw what the first and second film only teased… An absolute sh!t-STORM with crazy strong, VIOLENT aliens… Who are blind?! It does make you wonder how they got here and how they exist on their home planet? That’s what makes it so AWESOME! Because this third movie only makes you want to know more! How do the aliens breed? What do they eat? Why are they blind?! LOL! But all jokes aside… Once again, this film proves that there is more character development… More plot in a QUIET film… Than Disney or Marvel has given us in YEARS! It must be seen in THEATERS to truly experience the AMAZING this movie really is… You will NOT be disappointed! Lastly, it’s also incredible the telling of two complete strangers coming together to bring the last piece of hope amongst the crazy to allow one another to grow strength and resolve in hopes they may be saved… While the one individual makes sure to live their very last seconds to every bit of their own desires! Whelp, hit ’n’ a miss as they say… Or something to that regard. But unfortunately #thebikeriders simply couldn’t balance its tires?! I’m trying to be creative, but falling flat… Get it? Falling flat… It’s basically this movie. Sure, it’s good. However, with such an incredible cast, it should have been FAR SUPERIOR! So what went wrong!? Well, have a listen and/or watch this new EPISODE on The Bikeriders and let me know your thoughts in the comments… Have you gotten the chance to see it yet? Were you even aware of it? I’ll give this movie one thing for sure… It tells an incredible, American culture-shifting story. And it does it with some of movies and televisions greatest actors and actresses. A time (1960s-1970s) where honour and respect were far more important than your latest social media post. A time when men were men and love triumphed over all. Where motorcycles took you to unknown places all the while creating a story unlike any other that would ultimately change the trajectory of motoring forever! It was a time of brotherhood. Yet just like with everything… In time, change happens. And sadly not for the best in some cases… I do genuinely encourage everyone to see this film, but in my best opinion… Wait for it to come to streaming. I kid you not folks, #winniethepoohbloodandhoney2 is one of the GREATEST films I’ve ever seen! No doubt has already scored the top spot in Spot of Nerd’s ‘Best and Worst of the Year’ for 2024. And the fact that it’s so cliché in relation to being absolutely TRAGIC (SATIRE) makes it all the better! No one would have ever believed you just a few years back, that someone would legitimately make a SLASHER/HORROR film based off the LEGENDARY #winniethepooh… But low and behold, here we are! Not only that, but very rarely can a sequel obliterate its original first film debut in the best way possible by being incredible in every way from story to overall production value. Seriously, supposedly this film got a much higher budget and it shows immensely in all the right ways. From its graphic and gory murders, to the #100acrewoods characters themselves, this film gives audiences something better than what even Marvel and/or Star Wars could only dream of… A decent CONCEPT come to life! I want to make it clear as well. Murder and killing is wrong… This is a FICTIONAL movie. Definitely not for the kiddos. But who doesn’t love a good slasher flick no? I would encourage you to watch the first film prior to this sequel… The first Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey was still a fantastic film! But it will give you more of a base as to what exactly this second film is eluding to… An AMAZING story of your very own CHILDHOOD NIGHTMARES! Well folks, this past week we got the first three episodes into the fourth Season from #amazonprime #theboys and let me be honest, it’s not brilliant… Major AGENDA/POLITICALLY driven LEAKAGE! Think Gen V with all of its GARBAGE has now made its way into televisions greatest Series to date! But why is my question? Let me be more clear, I obviously know why… But why ruin a GREAT thing…? Am I wrong? The Boys is hands down one of the greatest pieces of television series history… Let alone one of the greatest COMIC BOOK series to ever exist. Supposedly the Series with end with Season 5, yet I’m truly worried with only these first three episodes if this show can really hold on to its momentum from past seasons… It’s boring, dull, and I genuinely have very little desire to know what comes next. I don’t even think the writers knew before filming this season. They’re too worried about checking boxes than providing the fans a continuation of what we already know this show to be… EPIC! Only time will tell I suppose… But I pray Season 4 of The Boys pivots… And pivots QUICKLY! Well well well folks… Who would have thought we’d ever see ANOTHER #badboys film!? I swear I only knew of #badboysrideordie within the past few weeks at best! After the abysmal GARBAGE that was the third #badboysforlife film… I thought they were done. Genuinely done… And we’d never see Will Smith and Martin Lawrence join forces ever again. Plus, they’re getting old! But here we are… And the best part? It was actually a GREAT film! I kid you not. Spot of Nerd is here to tell you, if you’re looking for a great movie to watch, check out Bad Boys: Ride or Die right now. It has a solid story… They’ve veered away from the CGI and created far more realistic action sequences, and ultimately made it a FUN movie again. Broken RECORD moment… It’s what KILLED the third movie… They tried going WAY TOO serious after the second film (which was a MASTERPIECE I might add) and ended up dam near ruining the Bad Boys franchise. Well, Time of Death: June 4th 2024. #theacolyte #starwars It was inevitable wasn’t it? Star Wars was truly on its last legs and was closing in on its own NON-galaxy… Far, far away…. But for real, if you were to take ANY Human Resources training video, mix it with elementary school kids in a play, then film it in front of a blue screen… You still wouldn’t get to half the level at which The Acolyte was ABYSMALLY GARBAGE! And honestly, it’s HYSTERICAL! The level of WOKENESS in this series is something I’ve never seen before. Well folks, the #trump verdict is in… And absolutely no one is surprised. First things first, and frankly the most important aspect of today is to celebrate #memorialday. To thank those past and present who have served this incredible nation in making sure you and I live the BEST, most FREE lives that we possibly can… The sacrifices made by these men and women will never receive enough of the TRUE respect they absolutely deserve! We can never repay them enough… Thank them, buy them a drink, and by God, admire them for giving you the ability to live in the most free nation of all time! And then there’s #furiosa… Supposedly a #madmax saga?! Gosh I wanted to like this movie so bad! But ultimately I cannot… And in this ALL-NEW episode I’ll tell you why! From its convoluted storyline, drastically lengthy (unnecessarily I might add) screen time, and just poor character development, it’s almost a shame to have it possess the Mad Max title… Especially coming from the man himself, George Miller. Call this a long shot, but I rolled the dice and picked a WINNER! #if, a family-friendly film from Jim himself (The Office) starring #ryanreynolds wasn’t half bad… Definitely something I’d genuinely recommend watching. At least until other new films like #furiosa comes out… I had a great, FUNNY time making this review and hope you enjoy it. Credit where credit is due, with the release of our first look at Season 2 from #theringsofpower, Max decided to metaphorically K.O. them with their own release of the official trailer for #houseofthedragon Season 2. Both coming this Summer! The ratio alone is absolutely hysterical! Everyone by now knows Amazon’s first Season of #lordoftherings The Rings of Power was an AMAZING disaster… To this day just might be one of the WORST series ever made. In essence trying to destroy the very LOTR franchise itself. Now, nothing will destroy The Lord of the Rings… They’re dam near perfect films… And as I’ve mentioned many times now, franchises now should be split in two; what was and what is… It’ll be interesting to see how things turn out this Summer when both NEW seasons are released. Though unexpectedly, #kingdomoftheplanetoftheapes wasn’t terrible because of a woke political agenda… Instead, it was because of some of the WORST writing in film history… Mixed with a level of BORING words cannot describe! Recently, with happenings currently across this nation’s campuses, I’ve been quite surprised to discover how much NEW content is around #theholocaust. From #thezoneofinterest to #weweretheluckyones, these have been some of the greatest story-telling series I’ve ever witnessed on television. Not because of the content… The Holocaust to me was mankind’s greatest crime. But because clearly these are stories that need to be told. To remind us that we must NEVER FORGET. They’re also tales of TRUE STORIES. TRUE. With a third series currently streaming on Peacock called The Tattooist of Auschwitz, I did not review this series (currently) as I feel it best to experience on your own. However, I will say this… It was some of the most disturbing portrayals of The Holocaust I’ve ever seen on television. Honestly, it is graphic and heartbreaking to the point where I still cannot speak of words relevant enough to describe its powerful message… A message that humanity once and STILL does some of the worst things to each other… October 7th being another day we must NEVER FORGET! This is a heavy episode… But incredibly IMPORTANT. I highly encourage you to watch and let me know your thoughts in the comments. The boys are BACK ladies and gentlemen and in the most EPIC GHOSTBUSTING way possible! That’s right… #ghostbustersfrozenempire just released in theaters and in my eyes, it did NOT disappoint! It did what most of Hollywood has lost… It gave the fans what they want in films, content that they know and love! #mastersoftheair just finished its final episode in the series, and I #spotofnerd have to say… ABSOLUTE PERFECTION! Seriously people, this series has got to be some of the greatest content to ever hit your television screens. The best part? It’s based off TRUE EVENTS in history where society saw the worst of the worst, yet brought out some of the greatest pride and honour America has ever seen! My respects to #appletv for delivering a Pro-American series to really get you to understand that we must NEVER FORGET our past in hopes that we dare not repeat it… WWII showed real MONSTERS the world had never seen, nor realized it possessed.
