Night glow fanveils - dancing led fanveils in the dark
Sandy Maya is a dancer, performer and choreographer, based in Berkshire, England, UK. Last night I decided to make the most of the warm weather and take my led fanveils out for a little twirl. The lights look so pretty and it looks as though they are moving on their own as you can hardly make me out in the dark. Any opportunity to keep dancing and to practise move and to stay motivated and inspired during these strange corona times where social distance rules have made so many things a challenge. But regardless of the current circumstance I stay creative and use any moment I have to work on my self, my style, my flexibility and create choreographies for students, the bellyfaires and myself. But not only the dancing itself, the way I film and edit my videos evolves with every take and I love the way my channel grows with an engaging audience. Do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life :) Love your body, be good to your body, move your body, dance! This is a magical world and we need to make the most of what we've got. Keep on dancing everyone! Spread the love and shine your light!

Fanveil turns in the garden
Sandy Maya is a dancer, performer and choreographer, based in Berkshire, England, UK. Fluttering fanveils in the heat this summer seems to be the best prop choice for dancing outdoors. I love to play with artistic add ons to enhance the viewer's experience. In this video I used the mirror effect from the Movavi video editor software. Do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life :) Love your body, be good to your body, move your body, dance! This is a magical world and we need to make the most of what we've got. Keep on dancing everyone! Spread the love and shine your light!

Carefree dancing with summer-wings
Sandy Maya is dancing outdoors during the summer days. A carefree moment spreading the beautiful colourful wings. Dancing with props always adds a little something and in this slow-motion the wings look so smooth. Sandy Maya is a dancer, choreographer and entertainer, based in England, Berkshire, UK. When the weather is nice she often uses the spacious outdoors to practice new moves and capture the beauty of combining nature and dance as both are her passions. If you want to feel like a butterfly, get yourself a pair of wings and fly into the magical world of dance.
