Biden unveiled Washington's longest blacklist to date, consisting of new sanctions on 500 people and entities connected with Russia, ahead of the two-year anniversary of the war in Ukraine. Moscow called the measures "fruitless," and noted that despite the fact that the West has made Russia the most sanctioned nation in the world, the Russian economy continues to grow. International Relations and Security Analyst Mark Sleboda noted that the latest round of sanctions isn't just about targeting Russia—it's also about the push to target the countries, businesses and individuals who continue to work with Russia, amid Washington's quest to isolate Moscow.

The U.S. has vetoed a resolution calling for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza for a third time at the UN Security Council. But while the Biden Admin claims it would interfere with a possible hostage deal between Israel and Hamas, Netanyahu has already made a mockery of those talks with further plans to invade Rafah. Prof. Francis Boyle, a human rights lawyer who represented Bosnia in a genocide case at the ICJ and won two orders in their favor, noted the parallels between his landmark case, and the genocide being committed by Israel against the Palestinian people today.

Journalist Tucker Carlson confirmed that he is in Moscow to interview President Putin, years after he alleged that his attempt to secure an interview with the Russian leader was used in an NSA blackmail scheme while he was working for Fox News. International Relations and Security Analyst Mark Sleboda noted that the ridicule Carlson is getting from the mainstream press for even daring to give Putin a minute of air-time, shows you the sad state of "journalism" in the West today...

The International Court of Justice has issued its first ruling on the genocide case brought by South Africa against Israel, in which it ordered Israel to take all necessary actions to “prevent genocide” in Gaza, but did not use the term “ceasefire.” Independent Journalist Sam Husseini, who has been highlighting the possible use of the Genocide Convention since October, noted that this decision is just the beginning of the actions that can be taken to push for Israel to be held accountable for its crimes against the Palestinian people.

The U.S. is once again bombing Iraq, claiming it is retaliating against the groups who have carried out a series of attacks on U.S. Military bases in the region. But the Iraqi prime minister is accusing Washington of "blatantly" violating his country's sovereignty and contributing to a “reckless escalation” of regional violence. Political commentator and Founder of Syriana Analysis, Kevork Almassian, noted that as tensions continue to escalate over Israel committing genocide in Gaza, we are seeing increased pushback against the U.S. Military's never-ending occupation of the region, and the decades of death, destruction and instability it has created.

“An act of insane barbarism” – that's how Moscow is describing the Ukrainian Military's decision to shoot down a Russian cargo plane, killing everyone on board, including 65 Ukrainian POW's. That's after Moscow notified Kiev that it was sending the plane ahead of a planned prisoner exchange. International Relations and Security Analyst Mark Sleboda noted that there are number of theories as to why Kiev chose to shoot down the Russian plane, but what is certain is the harm this incident has done to any future attempts by Kiev to conduct prisoner exchanges with Moscow.

While Blinken went to Davos this week claiming that the world needed to focus on a “pathway to a Palestinian state,” Netanyahu came out the next day saying he told the U.S. there will be no Palestinian state, and that Israel will control all territory “from the River to the Sea.” Journalist and Host of the Kim Iversen Show, Kim Iversen, noted that while the U.S. may be the one supplying the weapons and funding, Netanyahu’s actions show that he knows who really has the control, and anyone who dares to question him will be met with the wrath of the Israeli lobby. Iran and Pakistan have agreed to de-escalate tensions after an exchange of missile and drone attacks targeting militant groups this week that left some fearing it would lead to a wider cross-border conflict. But there's a lot more to the story, as Iran also carried out strikes against targets in Iraq and Syria... Journalist and Editor-in-Chief of The Cradle, Sharmine Narwani, noted that Iran is responding to the new phase of war that has been set in motion by the U.S. as it allows Israel's unprecedented bombardment of the Gaza Strip and increased used of high-profile assassinations.

The U.S. has launched five rounds of strikes against Ansar Allah in Yemen over the last week, claiming that the goal is to stop the Houthis from targeting Israel-linked ships in the Red Sea. But when Biden was asked about whether the strikes were working, he replied, “When you say ‘working,’ are they stopping the Houthis? No. Are they going to continue? Yes.” Kyle Anzalone, Co-Host of Conflicts of Interest and Opinion Editor at AntiWar.com, noted that Biden’s comments sum up Washington’s foreign policy in the Middle East, where the U.S. is not wanted, no matter what Blinken says.

After more than 100 days, Israel is continuing to ramp up its bombardment of the Gaza Strip by targeting the southern half—where they previously told Palestinian civilians to go for safety, before bombing their convoys as they fled the north. Palestinian-American Journalist Dr. Ramzy Baroud noted that for the Palestinians who have survived so far, many have lost their entire families and they are now facing starvation and severe injuries with no options for medical care. All while the U.S. continues to support Israel as it commits genocide in Gaza.

Zelensky is back on the fundraising trail at the World Economic Forum, as he tries to convince the U.S. and the EU to make progress on passing tens of billions of Dollars in new aid packages for Ukraine. But while the Biden Admin assures Zelensky that he has Washington’s support, they ignore the American citizen who just died in Kiev’s custody. International Relations and Security Analyst Mark Sleboda noted that the detainment, torture and ultimately the death of Gonzalo Lira was not only something the Biden Admin allowed to happen by refusing to intervene—it was a warning to anyone in the region who openly criticizes Zelensky, no matter their nationality.

The World Economic Forum is back in Davos this week, and it wouldn’t be complete without a meeting of world leaders to talk about peace in Ukraine. The main problem? Russia wasn’t included. The other glaring problem that is being ignored as Switzerland agrees to Zelensky’s request to host a summit to talk about his so-called “peace plan” is that the plan in question requires Russia’s complete surrender and the return of Ukraine’s borders to the days before Kiev became a puppet of the West in a U.S.-backed coup. In other words, Zelensky is just planning his next lethal aid fundraiser in the name of “peace” in Ukraine.

The landmark genocide case against Israel began at the International Court of Justice today, with South Africa presenting evidence of both genocidal rhetoric and actions committed by Israel against the Palestinian people in their massacre of the Gaza Strip. Former UK MP and Host of the Mother of All Talk Shows, George Galloway, noted that while the U.S. and the UK may defend Israel and call the case "politically motivated" in public, they could also see the potential of the UN's top court ordering an immediate halt to Israel's bombardment as a sort of "off ramp" preventing a regional collision that could lead us to WW3. The Biden Amin sent Blinken on his latest tour of the Middle East, and today he stopped in Tel Aviv, where he delivered the same spiel about how Israel needs to kill less civilians—while ignoring the fact that the U.S. supplies the weapons that enable Israel to continue committing genocide in Palestine. Journalist Robert Inlakesh noted that Netanyahu is now increasing tensions with Hezbollah because his campaign to "defeat Hamas" has failed massively and he knows that any kind of peace will mean the end of his career.

Tensions continue to rise surrounding Iran, as nearly 100 people were killed in an attack targeting a memorial near the grave site of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani, four years after he was assassinated by the U.S. Veteran Journalist Elijah J. Magnier noted that we are seeing an increase in high-profile attacks, as this week Israel bombed Beirut, killing a Hamas senior official. This, as tensions also continue to rise in the Red Sea, where Iran has sent a warship, and the U.S. is rallying its allies to target Yemen...

Biden, Blinken, Nuland and Co. are reportedly pushing G7 allies to come up with a plan to illegally seize around $300 BILLION in Russian assets for Ukraine, as the U.S. and the EU struggle to pass more aid for Kiev. Alex Christoforou of The Duran noted that it doesn't matter how many experts have said that this plan is illegal and will have massive ramifications for the U.S. and the EU—Biden is desperate, and the warnings of logic and precedent aren't stopping him from moving forward with his latest cash grab for Ukraine.

Israeli officials are warning that time is running out for a diplomatic solution with Hezbollah, as clashes continue to increase along the border with Lebanon. But given that Israel's bombardment of the Gaza Strip has killed mainly children and women—and not the Hamas fighters they claim to be targeting—it raises the question of how much more Israel can handle... Palestinian-American Journalist Dr. Ramzy Baroud noted that while Washington's focus on the Middle East has died down in recent years, Israel is trying to force the U.S. to return, in order to support a regional war that could include both Hezbollah and Iran.

Ukraine's Zelensky went from being TIME Magazine's "Person of the Year," showered with praise and funding by the West—to begging for more lethal aid as TIME describes him as "delusional." International Relations and Security Analyst Mark Sleboda noted that while the West may be waking up to the reality that Ukraine isn't winning, as they struggle to pass more funding for Kiev, Zelensky continues to be the "Emperor with No Clothes," with an inner circle that is scared to question him.

The Pentagon is struggling to keep up with the cost as it uses $2 Million missiles to take down the $2,000 drones coming from Yemen, as the Biden Admin tries to justify support for Israel and the U.S. Military’s presence in the Red Sea. Political commentator and Founder of Syriana Analysis, Kevork Almassian, noted that instead of serving the national security interests of the American people, the U.S. Military continues to serve the financial interests of the private sector defense contractors who profit from fueling wars around the world.

Americans are struggling to pay their bills, going into debt and working multiple jobs just to survive, while the U.S. Government focuses on a reckless foreign policy focused on fighting nation-building and proxy wars against Russia and China. Prof. Richard Wolff, an Economist and founder of Democracy at Work, noted that the Biden Admin is insulting the American people when it tries to convince them that the economy is great and so-called 'Bidenomics' is working, when they see the reality of the crumbling 'U.S. Empire' all around them...

The U.S. may be picking fights around the world with support for Israel, Ukraine and Taiwan, but the Pentagon is now scrambling to respond to the one threat it apparently didn't see coming: Yemen's Houthis interrupting traffic in the Red Sea, in order to push for a ceasefire in Gaza. Ecuadorian Journalist and Editor of The Cradle, Esteban Carrillo, noted that while several Arab nations say they support a ceasefire, they're showing that support in name only, refusing to take any tangible steps to push Israel to stop committing genocide. But Yemen is actually doing something about it.

Israel's ethnic cleansing of the Gaza Strip continued with "unwavering" support from the U.S., despite the soaring civilian death toll. But more than 10 weeks in, it begs the question—what has Israel accomplished in Gaza, aside from the slaughter of thousands of Palestinian civilians? Lebanese Journalist and War Correspondent Ghadi Francis noted that the Palestinian resistance is becoming stronger than ever, as Israel exposes its military and strategic weaknesses, along with its hunger for genocide to the world.

Israel is relying heavily on artificial intelligence in its bombardment of the Gaza Strip, with the IDF using a system they call "The Gospel" to choose targets at an unprecedented rate. That's as a recent report says nearly half of the nearly 30,000 bombs Israel has launched in the last 10 weeks have been "unguided" munitions. Independent Journalist Vanessa Beeley says that anyone wondering why the U.S., the UK and the EU would support Israel—as it kills 20,000 Palestinians, mainly women and children—needs to keep in mind that they are using Gaza as a testing ground for the latest weapons and technology.

Biden recently called Israel’s bombardment of the Gaza Strip “indiscriminate,” as the overwhelming majority of the around 20,000 Palestinians killed by Israel are women and children. Journalist Robert Inlakesh noted that everything from Israel’s carpet bombing tactics, to its mess of a ground invasion, to the IDF’s own reports that several of its soldiers have been killed by friendly fire, show that Israel doesn’t seem to have any clear objective in this war. But of course, Biden vowed to continue supplying Israel with money and weapons, knowing that they will be used to kill more civilians.
