Getting ready for the next Disaster....

In this video, Mount team Amy and Bo are working a scent problem looking for the target odor of Human Remains. The horse will move to the source of the scent and put its head down to indicate where the target odor is located, The horses are used on searches where large areas need to be searched.

PRSAR Horses are scent trained on two target odors, live humans and deceased humans. In this video, the hourse is working on deceased human odor and must take the rider to the source. The horse then puts his nose down on the source of the target odor.

PRSAR K9 is trained to local a missing person in the water. Imagine fishing at night and a rogue wave hits the boat and knocks you in the water--how to locate you? K9's are one way to do that!

In this video, we show K9 Damma doing an area search. Her job is to search a designated area for a live victim and report back to the handler, then taking the handler to the victim. She does her usual excellent job!
