Marc Theilman, Republican candidate for governor and Superintendent of Alsea School District, joined Free Oregon's Statewide Virtual Townhall to discuss his school district's defiance of the newly permanent mask mandate recently imposed by the Oregon Health Authority. On January 20th, the Oregon Health Authority received six hours of public testimony and more than 30,000 written public comments in opposition of mask mandates. Nonetheless, on January 28th the Oregon Health Authority passed law forcing kids in public schools to wear masks forever.

125 people testified for 6.5 hours against permanent mask mandates in Oregon. Free Oregon Members BBQ's dogs, burgers and even steaks out front of the Oregon Health Authority and earned media coverage from all Portland newsrooms. Oh, and we burned a few masks to show 'em how we feel about their "mandates."
