Testing the new single belt with spring tensioner with 5” crank pulley with the AMR300 supercharger, drove around about 60 miles and the belt is stretched to the point the tensioner will not tension any more, was it the lawnmower belts the whole time? So I did a recap of the work done to install the AMR300 supercharger, fabricating, redoing, tinkering and I think its all coming together pretty good! Installed the 5” crank pulley from tractor supply. 2.265, 4 bolt hole circle, 21/64th holes. Then ran some tests with older single belt and 6”, then moved the supercharger forward and made the brackets for spring loaded belt tensioner and a 26"x1/2" belts, its all on and working. Have a small leak at the flange under heavy boost... grr. And how you like that garage door spring breaking and knocking Ernest off the wall? Installed the GlowShift Dual temp gauge, messed with some jetting on the carb, too lean. Blew a brand new belt, then another belt in same locationas first belt, that THREE belts in the same location! Is the supercarger seizing up because of the metal spurs I found, tightening too much or is the crankcase oil vapored air lubing it? I took the spurs out and cleaned up the rotors with 1200 grit sandpaper. Will install and try again with crank vent installed. Have to get some more belts of course! A TON MORE. So I ran a wire direct to the carb solenoid that stays on with the key on and mini ran perfect today! Did a 2 mile hill in 4th geat I could barely do 30mph and made it 45 plus ¼ throttle with power to spare. When I stepped on it to ¾ throttle it climbed even faster! Found the primary jet on the aftermarket 32mm carb, of course it is not a common jet, I do not have a small enough drill so I tapered the end by peening while rolling it. Also drilled out the main jet so it is very close but on the rich side which I rather be.
