Sleeping Lady is another dwarf tomato from the Dwarf Tomato Project. It was very productive for us, and worth a try in my opinion.

Tasmanian Chocolate Dwarf Tomato is one of many dwarf tomatoes developed by the Dwarf Tomato Project.

Seychelles Pole Beans are very productive. They are also a very attractive bean. The pods are much smoother looking than most pole beans.

China Jade Cucumbers are my favorite cucumbers to grow. They get over a foot long, but when picked before the bottom starts to widen, they are still very crispy and delicious.

I've had really good luck with growing sweet potatoes in straw bales. This time we got some really big ones. You never know what you will get when it comes time to harvest sweet potatoes. I love to grow lots of different things, so sometimes I run out of room in the garden. When that happens, I usually turn to growing in grow bags. Even though these beets didn't do quite as well as they usually do in the ground, I think they did well enough. We enjoy making pickled beets, so that is what we use small batches of beets for. It's amazing to me how beautiful a vegetable garden looks when it's seen this time of year when everything is brown. This was in July when we were harvesting tons of good stuff to eat from it.

Once you try this, you will probably repeat it over and over. It looks like the flower is growing in the basket, but looks can be deceiving. Garlic scapes are versatile in the kitchen and can be used in a variety of dishes. They can be chopped and used in salads, stir-fries, pesto, or as a garnish. Once I planted these potatoes, I didn't do anything to them except water. We still got a pretty good harvest from the Kennebec, and the other two types we grew.

Even though Adirondack Blue Potatoes have blue in their name. They are really purple. If you've ever grown Adirondack Blue Potatoes, let us know how they worked out for you.

I haven't counted the peppers on our Orange Ripple plant, but there are dozens of them.

We didn't get many tomatoes last year because of the heat, so I overcompensated this year by planting more of them. Things are growing so quickly this time of year that the garden changes quite a bit from week to week. We have tons of tomatoes that have set on already. Along with the tomatoes, we have lots of peppers on our plants too. The cucumbers and pole beans are climbing up their cages and trellises. Just about everything in the garden is doing well.
