I was practicing IFR flying in the Cessna 172 in the new X-Plane 12 beta. After about a 30 minute flight, I setup an LPV RNAV approach into 06A (Tuskegee, AL) RWY 31. I didn't know it would take it all the way to minimums but it did, I just caught sight of the runway right before minimums. Just remember, going around is always an option! In this comparison video, all I am going to show you is the difference between X-Plane 11 and X-Plane 12 (Early Access) when it comes to graphics and sound. Due to delays with the window installation, corrosion treatment, and other issues requiring an A&P IA mechanic, my Annual Inspection (Due on May 31st) came down to the wire! On May 30th, my A&P IA agreed to meet me in order to fix the last bits of issues so I could fly my aircraft to his maintenance facility for the Annual Inspection before a special ferry permit would be required.
