Take away the Moon, and the Earth would go wobbling all over the place. And it would cause what I can only describe as climate change on steroids. Imagine if one day you looked up into the night sky, and saw Mars or Saturn where the Moon was supposed to be. That would sure turn our Earth into an alien world. And not just because of the new view. How would replacing the Moon change the Earth's orbit? What planet could we safely replace our Moon with? And what planet would be the most disastrous?

❤️Thanks for watching my video.❤️ At the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, the International Space Station’s Expedition 69-70 crew, Soyuz Commander Oleg Kononenko and Flight Engineer Nikolai Chub of Roscosmos and NASA Flight Engineer Loral O’Hara participated in a variety of activities as they prepared for their upcoming mission on the International Space Station. Kononenko, Chub, and O’Hara are set to launch Sept. 15 from Baikonur in the Soyuz MS-24 spacecraft for long duration missions on the outpost. The footage includes the crew’s arrival in Baikonur, their Soyuz fit checks in the Cosmodrome’s Integration Facility, and other training milestones...

Their backups, cosmonaut Alexey Ovchinin and NASA astronaut Tracy Caldwell-Dyson, joined them for the training sessions. Kononenko, Chub, and O’Hara are scheduled to launch Friday, Sept. 15 from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan in the Soyuz MS-24 spacecraft for a six-month mission on the International Space Station. Thankfully, we are a safe distance from this stellar black hole and many others like it. There are approximately 100 million of them out there in our galaxy that we know of. They are the remnants of supernovae, which occur when stars 10 to 20 times larger than our Sun collapse in on themselves. Could a black hole devour us all one day? There are millions of them out there just waiting. And if we happened to make a black hole accidentally, well, you better fasten your seatbelts. Things are going to really suck! Quite literally. What would we see if we got pulled into a black hole? Could Earth orbit the Sun and a black hole? Would we survive spaghettification? What would happen if we get past the event horizon?

❤️ Thanks for watching my video..❤️ Using actual New Horizons data and digital elevation models of Pluto and its largest moon Charon, mission scientists have created flyover movies that offer spectacular new perspectives of the many unusual features that were discovered and which have reshaped our views of the Pluto system – from a vantage point even closer than the spacecraft itself. This dramatic Pluto flyover begins over the highlands to the southwest of the great expanse of nitrogen ice plain informally named Sputnik Planitia. The viewer first passes over the western margin of Sputnik, where it borders the dark, cratered terrain of Cthulhu Macula, with the blocky mountain ranges located within the plains seen on the right. The tour moves north past the rugged and fractured highlands of Voyager Terra and then turns southward over Pioneer Terra -- which exhibits deep and wide pits -- before concluding over the bladed terrain of Tartarus Dorsa in the far east of the encounter hemisphere. Digital mapping and rendering were performed by Paul Schenk and John Blackwell of the Lunar and Planetary Institute in Houston.

This is Brian’s personal tribute to the on-going NASA New Horizons mission, which on New Years Day 2019 will achieve the most distant spacecraft flyby in history.. Nasa's New Horizons: Excitement ahead of Ultima Thule flyby Occurring some 6.5 billion km (4 billion miles) from Earth, the flyby will set a new record for the most distant ever exploration of a Solar System object by a spacecraft. New Horizons will gather a swathe of images and other data over the course of just a few hours leading up to and beyond the closest approach. This is timed for 05:33 GMT. At that moment, the probe will be about 3,500km from Ultima's surface and moving at 14km/s.

❤️ Thanks for watching my video..❤️ Tens of thousands of spectators made the pilgrimage from across the country & 22 million people around the world on Youtube witnessed the thunderous roar of the SpaceX's new 23-story-tall jumbo rocket as it has blasted off on its first test flight, carrying Elon Musk’s red Tesla sports car aiming for an endless trip past Mars. The Falcon Heavy rose from the same launch pad used by NASA nearly 50 years ago to send men to the Moon. With lift-off, the Heavy became the most powerful rocket in use today, doubling the lift-off punch of its closest competitor. Within three minutes, the Falcon Heavy’s two side boosters separated from the central rocket in one of the most critical points of the flight. Some eight minutes after launch, a pair of sonic booms rocked the area as the two side boosters set down in near synchrony on two landing pads. Flying atop the Falcon Heavy is SpaceX & Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s cherry-red Tesla Roadster, carrying a passenger—sort of. SpaceX revealed last weekend that a mannequin wearing the company’s new spacesuit would ride in the driver’s seat of the electric sports car ,nicknamed Starman.

But what if we had to live on another planet — say, Venus or Saturn? Let’s find out what difficulties we’d have to endure there. How high could you jump on other planets? The gravity on Mercury, for example, is less than half that on Earth, so you’ll be able to jump about 4 ft high. But if you were to jump being on Venus, you’d make it just shy of 1.7 ft high because the mass and size of Earth and Venus are almost similar with Venus being a little smaller. Bu the way, guys, did you know that Venus is a really inhospitable place? You’d be able to see Earth from here if not for the whirling mass of clouds above. They create a monstrous greenhouse effect, as well as immense atmospheric pressure. And despite the constant temperature of a blazing furnace, rain here wouldn’t bring relief: the clouds up there are made of sulfuric acid!
