The core of this message concerns sin that defiles, which in turn catapults into the message title. It's repentance and turning from sin that renders the benefits of the kingdom of God coming forth in our lives. If you are not living a repentant lifestyle you are not living victoriously. Three ways defilement comes in: 1) Inherited (Ex 20:5) You did not ask for these but you received them anyway. 2) Imparted. You didn't ask for these either. Somebody abused you that shouldn't have - sexually, physically, emotionally, verbally or spiritually. Somebody didn't love you that should have, i.e. parent, etc. 3) Acquisition. We do our own sin. Jean Williams: BREAKING THE STUPOR SPIRIT (Slumber) Kernaa Williams: DISCERNING YOUR SEASON OF TRANSITION *Jean: As we look at the U.S. in its current condition (July, 2024) we see how the spirit of stupor reigns in our political leadership which concurrently extends over the atmosphere and people of this nation. God desires for us to come out from under this spirit and do damage to the kingdom of darkness. She begins with a wonderful and thorough overview of the Holy Spirit. In the Old Testament the Holy Spirit would come upon them. Now He lives within us. In this message she gives us twenty-five of the fifty things that the Holy Spirit does. These are things He does for us, in us and to help us. Number one is He glorifies and testifies of Christ. “God loves us” is a term we are all familiar with but what does that love look like? Callie begins this service with a tender, stripped down version of the answer to that question. This spirit opens the gates of the soul of man to the spirit of perversion. It is a counterfeit of the anointing and an imitator of the Holy Spirit. 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 lays the foundation for this teaching. The battle in the flesh can only be one when we are walking in the Spirit. We must catch the disobedient thoughts and bring them into captivity when they are not of God. They must be taken into custody, stripping them of their rights to operate. When you have been incarcerated you can appreciate a little bit more the freedoms most of us take for granted. The goal of the enemy is to take our freedom away. Examples of thoughts needing to be taken captive are shared, i.e. doubt and unbelief. Once you have “jailed” the thought you must find out why it’s there, is there legal cause for it to be there and then build the case based on searching for the truth which is always found in God’s Word. Using doubt or unbelief as the example, it must be prosecuted which means to cast it out! What a glorious gift we have been given to “choose” to walk in the light as He is in the light. Charles: He prefaces this teaching with the various ways God brings deliverance to our lives. He concentrates on the delivering power of praise and worship and the power it has to affect the atmosphere and make the enemy flee. This was one of the ways God used to bring victory in his life. He shared testimony of how singing in the prison choir was the beginning of demonic chains breaking and falling off. He was a victim of drug addiction from birth as his mother used drugs her entire pregnancy. By age nine he was drinking whiskey. But that spirit of addiction was broken at age thirty-three by singing songs of deliverance in prison. He realized with the story of Paul and Silas (Acts 16) being supernaturally released from prison after singing praises to God, that the reason for deliverance is to do God’s will. The Lord will put a song in our heart when we are first delivered as He did for Moses when he was delivered from the hands of Pharaoh as recorded in Exodus 15. He shares such a pure testimony of God healing him from Hepatitis C. His heart posture toward the Lord is evident and God has bestowed on him a practicality to share Scriptures that help believers in their daily walk. The Biblical meaning of the word four is rule and dominion. She learned this after asking the Lord why He spoke the title of this message to her four times. The bride is going to rule and reign with Christ. They are going to be fierce, fearless, worshiping warriors - the bride He is going to use to take down the kingdom of darkness. Though it’s hard for men to see it, they too can be the bride of Christ. The meat of Matthew 25 feeds much of this message which has lit a fire in her that she never wants to lose and she prays it does the same for the listener. A statement heard repeatedly is “sanctified by the Blood” and “washed with the Word”. We must know in our knower who we are in Christ. The Bride knows who she is. The deliverance process is removing the black spots off the wedding garment. We have a partnership with God that allows us to claim our spiritual land little by little. To claim this land God has given us weapons for warfare, the weapons work when we obey. If we have bitter root judgments against others/ourselves we need to repent and ask God to forgive us, this removes the hindrance for victory in that area of our lives. When we make internal vows like “I will never be like my mom or dad” we set up walls. These walls create barriers between us and God. We need to forgive others and ourselves so these walls come down. Love conquers all, we have to love ourselves the way God loves us - this brings freedom. In getting to this freedom there are different spirits we have to overcome. Some of them are serpentine spirits that open a person up to the supernatural realm and the demonic kingdom. There is an ouroboros. It is a circular symbol of a snake eating its own tail. It's a symbol of destruction and rebirth. The infinity symbol is in the same shape minus the tail and snake head. Serpentine spirits are chief among the house of darkness. Serpentine spirits control the marine kingdom, they are behind spirit wives, and spirit husbands. Prayers of deliverance from serpentine spirits are prayed during the service.
