The first few minutes of this broadcast were 'cut' by a very brief power outage - BUT GOD not only restored the power, HE also RESTORED THE BROADCAST - and this was the result - and - the MEAT of the message - without skipping a beat!! Sept. 11th - evokes a host of memories for all us - for many, it's the memory of the events that took place in 2001, with the destruction of the Twin Towers (and Tower #7); Flight 93 brought down by a courageous group of passengers in a field in Pennsylvania; and for others - it was the attack on the Pentagon. But still, for others, 9/11 means all the above and more: for Diane and I - the day celebrates our wedding; and for Messianic community - according to the Hebrew writings - it's most likely the actual (or as closest to it as men can come up) the birth date of JESUS (YESHUA), our Messiah! The LORD Is DOING ALL That He has been speaking through the prophets: past and current! The Word from the LORD to my heart (8/24/2022) is simple - this is NOT the time to PLAY CHRISTIAN. As an actor, I learned from a very wise, very skilled professional - the Best Actors are those who don't "pretend" to be a character - the Best Actors learn all they can about the character they are portraying and when possible, they actually get to KNOW that character in real life, build a relationship and glean as much as they can from them - likes, dislikes, characteristics, etc. - so they can "get into the role"/"become that person"! It's the same with God - the way we get to know Him and the only way to truly be "Christ-like" - is to ACTUALLY GET TO KNOW HIM - by HIS Word, by HIS Spirit, by HIS Love and to LEARN As Much About HIM as we can - then we become - as the great actors - a "Reflection" of HIM! Have you ever thought - wow, they don't remember me? And yet - I (prayed for them; ministered to them; walked with them; etc.). Just as Saul really didn't 'know' David at first except as "that young man who really could minister TO ME" - and then had to ask, "who is that young man that just did what he said he would and killed Goliath?" There are times when people aren't really paying attention to you or your anointing, but perhaps, are so caught up in their "familiarity" with you as "that person who.." Jesus also faced this in His own village and amongst His own family and friends - and couldn't do many miracles at home - because of their unwillingness "TO BELIEVE" in He and His Anointing and Acknowledge Him and Receive Who He was - in the case of David - The Warrior and Shepherd who killed the Giant! So, the enemy is looking like a "Goliath" - a real giant that is bigger than anyone or anything you've faced in your life - OR IS HE? The Spirit of the Lord spoke to my spirit once again - but it started as a dream - then, The Word of the Lord. Again, God shows His great Grace, Mercy, and Patience - God has plans for man - but men who think they are "gods" are about to reap what they sow.
