Just Your Average Joe

I ask God almost everyday to show me, and guide me in the path he wants me to go, because I'm too dumb to figure it out without him. Even though I don't always follow his direction the way I should, he always answers my prayers, even if it's simple things I'm pondering. Just another sign of the spiritual war we are in daily, and more proof that he hears me, and trys to point me to the right path.

We are in a spiritual battle daily, and one of the Devil's most powerful weapons is doubt. He makes us question every choice we make when we are moving toward God, and not toward sin. When we are doing things to please the flesh, he will tell us to not worry about the consequences, but if we are moving toward God, he makes us wonder if we are doing the right thing. Be aware of this battle, and stay away from those that are part of his army.

I know I am guilty of telling my dog I love him and he's handsome and cool many times an hour sometimes. What if I Gabe that much praise to Jesus? I also talk about taking care of what God gives you.

Did the assassination attempt on Trump make you think? It made me think a little differently about Trump, and it also made me think about my own life, and what I want to accomplish before it's my time to go. Do you think about dying, and wonder if you doing as much as possible to achieve God's purpose for you like I do? Let me know your thoughts.

God has blessed me so much in the last 4 years. When I was hospitalized due to the life i was living in 2019, and lost my job in 2020, I was devastated, but God worked it all out for the good. Little did I know then, that he started a chain reaction that would lead me to change my life, be a business owner, and living for him again. Thanks to his mercy, my life continues to get better, he is the only reason for it, and I give him all glory. Now, he has blessed me once again, and gave me a lesson to remember about worshipping worldly things.

One of the worst feelings, is feeling like you are in a rut, and don't know why. I know I question everything way to much, but I like staying excited, and feeling like you are in a rut happens to everyone. I just really want to be always moving forward in God's will, and never get complacent.

This week God keep showing me that he can turn things around when you may think there is no chance. Nomatter how hopeless a situation may seem, he is there to get your back. He takes care of his children, and we should have faith that he will.

There is no such thing as "Just An Average Joe" and my friend Danny White was no exception. He was one of the biggest influences in making me who I am today, and I just wanted to say goodbye. I also highlight that your loved ones are watching you. We all make an impact on this earth, and it's up to you what kind of impact it is. DW showed me that an "Average Joe" can do anything that anyone else can do, and it has influenced me throughout my life. He was "The Comeback Kid" and always made a comeback, nomatter how hard he got knocked down. I probably wouldn't be making these videos, or own the business if it wasn't for him. I thank God that he has a plan, and nomatter how painful it is that my friend is gone and I didn't get to say goodbye, I know God and him know how much I love him, and he was "winning spiritually" when God took him home. Our friendship isn't over, and I'll see you in the next life brother.

This week had its ups and downs, but when I was feeling low, he lifted me way up! I ask him to show me a sign to answer a question, and he sends me a gift that I would have never dreamed I would ever obtain. Yes, I try to seek out his will everyday, but God knows my heart, and he knows what I like, and led me to obtain something that knocks my socks off! Since I have been trying to live for him, he has made my life so much better, and I thank him so much for all of his blessings, that I do not deserve.

Imagine you were in Peter's shoes when Jesus told him that he would denie him. You left everything you owned behind to follow Jesus. You faced hardships and saw miracles performed. You even walked on water! I'm sure Peter thought it couldn't be possible, but it came to pass. We all Like to think we wouldn't do the same, but most denie him in front of friends everyday, including myself. That is the main problem with America right now. We have been programed to be too afraid of hurting someone's feelings, to try to help lead them to salvation. It was all part of "thier" plan, they have been working on it for years, and they are winning! It's time America takes a stand, and stops washing thier hands of the blame, like Pilot.

"Vengeance is mine" says the Lord, and it is hard for us not to seek it out on our own. The Bible says that God is the one true, perfectly fair judge, and if we leave room for him to handle a situation, he will handle it for his children. It's hard for us to not retaliate when we are falsely, or unjustly accused, and end up ruining the example we are trying to set for others. In this situation, I tried to handle it the way I thought God would want me too, and leave room for him to make the final decision, and it turned out better than I expected. All praise goes to him.

I have been putting this story off long enough. My life is my testimony, regardless of how embarrassed, and ashamed I am of it. If it helps one person, and brings glory to God, then it is more important than my own pride. I have always tried to hide my life of sin from the world, because it's embarrassing, but this story is no secret. It was on the news when it happened, and as you can imagine, everyone in my small town has heard a different version of what happened. Today, I'm telling the story the way it really happened, and all praise goes to God for sparing my life that night, and many other times. I always say I should write a book, but if I did, noone would believe it.

I am sure that most people who watch my videos know the reason that our society is falling apart, but for the ones who don't know, it's because we are not following God's plan. Did you know that God set rules for the Israelites to follow in the desert when he gave them the 10 commandments? How do we know what he wants us to do in our individual lives, and how can we know what his path for us is? I don't have all the answers, but I pray for signs and watch for them, and he showed answered my prayers this week. I also end the video with one of my favorite Christian tunes.

I made it through the shows in high spirits, but that mean old devil is still alive and well. He has tried his best to take away my victory, and went back to using his same playbook, by using my loved ones. Luckily, I know someone stronger than myself, and he is helping me to have faith that it will all work out. I struggle to not take matters into my own hands, and leave room for him to show his power, but he put these songs in my heart to remind me of how he always held on to me.

Sorry about the long, late video. I had a stressful tax day, I got stuck having to fill more than double the tables I usually fill at a show, and it was a flop! If you have watched my videos for a while, I think you will be able to notice a difference in my mindset throughout stressful times. I can really tell that staying in church, and reading God's word daily, has helped me manage my stress. I am very thankful for all that God has done, and does for me, and I hope others try it out for themselves.

"Can we? Can we? Can we?", is how kids beg thier parents until they give in to thier requests, and that's how I catch myself praying. The Bible says, that if we want prayers answered, we should pray with urgency, believing, and cry out with others. I go to sell at the first gun show since the new rule definition was announced, and expected it to be a mad house, but I was mistaken. The show was a ghost town, and noone believes the rule will go into effect. If it does, they think it won't change anything. I think they are wrong, but I hope they are right.

God sends a blessing to my household just in time for Easter! I hope everyone has a great weekend, and remembers to thank Jesus for his sacrifice for us. May God bless you and your families this Easter weekend.

If we could look at our trials in life as opportunities for God to show others how he will see us through it, and set a good example while patiently waiting and praying for his mercy and guidance, then we would be better students of his teachings for others, and ourselves. I know that it's easier said than done. I'm terrible at doing that myself, but I'm always trying to do better, and I hope you are too.

Two weeks ago, my mom's house was broken into by a homeless man, and this week, my daughter gets robbed by a different homeless man. I know this is a long video and is not my usual content, but someone needs to shed light on this issue. City's are sending thier homeless to our small town. But, God sends someone to shed light on the issue, and to give me a way to help using the business. Sorry that the video went up late, but I recorded way too much, and was trying to cut it down as much as possible and everything still flow together.

Watch and listen to an overworked, exhausted, business owner, rambling aimlessly about his fears, regrets, and life choices. This "Average Joe" is trying to figure out the best way to move forward with the remaining years of his life, while chasing God's perfect plan for him and his family, and the business that God has given him to use for his will.

After a long week, I finally got it ready to post!

I end the year with one last gun show. I'm tired, but I have to keep on keeping on, and push past the exhaustion for my family. Our christian walk is the sometimes the same way. When times are hard, we have to push through it, and keep trying to do the right things.

Money is the root of all evil. It's hard to balance the important things in life like, faith, family, chasing your calling, and paying the bills. This society we live in was designed by man, to make sure we have to work constantly, to get a few extra crumbs. I find myself looking back at all of the years I have spent working 2 or 3 jobs, working overtime at every opportunity, and I have very little to show for it. Have I traded my priceless relationship with God, my family, my happiness, for a pocket full of change, similarly to how Judas traded Jesus to the soldiers? Tell me what you think?

Have you ever been at a point with a vehicle, where you have replaced so many broken parts, and have drained so many resources, that you have to decide whether to cut your losses and move on to another one, or try fixing it one more time? Why do we expect God to continue to fix us and our issues, if we never "run" correctly, and he never reaps the benefit of all the work and resources that he puts into us? Praise God, that he is so patient, merciful, and forgiving!
