Chapter 5 – The primeval Age of the Earth and the Moon – The Creation of Adam and Eve
Thus spoke the Lord to me (Jakob Lorber), and within me for everyone, and that is true, faithful and certain:
1. Now I will show you the organic creation, from the first to the last and from the smallest to the greatest, and how I made everything out of My love and wisdom, and the everlasting order out of both, the Word of eternal might and power deep within the Divinity. And behold, there does not exist anything in all the spaces of infinity, be it great or small, that was not made thereby!
2. Behold and listen: The earth had come into existence, and there were the moon, the sun, and the stars; but the earth was still bare, and its surface was like the surface of the sea. Dense clouds were hanging above the waters, extending deep into the dead spaces of the worlds, and the light of the sun was unable to illuminate the drop of mercy. The moon was covered by the vapor of the drop, and only in this vapor was the earth born and the moon nourished. And, like a hen sitting on her chicks, the sun was above both of them, with the rays of its light from the warmth of the love in God, maturing the earth and separating the moon from the breast of his mother.
3. Thereupon the dense clouds parted and settled upon the stillness of the poles. The belt of the earth was freed, and the sun beheld itself in the waters, and the earth gratefully reflected the light received into the vast bosom of the sun and, with wide-open eyes, watched the moon bathing in the rays flowing from the sun of the grace of eternal Love.
4. Behold and continue to listen: The earth was content, for she was filled with the love of mercy and saw her darling, the moon, revolve briskly around her. Love swelled her wide bosom with the breath of mercy as if she wanted once more to hand the child her breast filled with the milk of grace. But the milk coagulated through the warmth of merciful love and became firm land towering above the seas. The seas sank back into the depths and were like the water that separates from the coagulated milk, to appease the indwelling wrath through the salt of grace by the mercy of love out of God, in all power and might.
5. And lo, it became calm on earth and in all the spaces of God’s infinity, and for the first time eternal Love fully descended to the earth, and in its almightiness and power breathed across the surface of the earth. This breath was an endless abundance of thoughts in living form of all kinds, for the future salvation of the lost.
6. And behold, a variety of herbs, plants, bushes and trees sprouted from the firm parts of the earth, and the seas, lakes, streams, rivers, brooks and springs teemed with all manner of worms, fish, and animals. The air was filled with birds of all kinds, and the number of all the various species in the waters, on the land and in the air was like the number of men who were made from this number, like the number of the grace of Love and like the number of the future salvation and the rebirth resulting therefrom.
7. Behold and comprehend what, until now, no one has beheld and comprehended: Eternal Love took that number out of Itself, and the number was the order and the eternal law within It, out of and within which eternal Love has forever existed, is existing and will exist in all the might and power of the holiness of God. It took clay, like the cream of the coagulated milk, and with the hand of Its might and the hand of Its power, according to the number of Its order, formed the first man and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life. The breath became a living soul within him, and the soul fully pervaded the man who was made in accordance with the number of the order from which all the spirits had been made, just as the worlds in the spaces of infinity, the earth and everything thereupon, and the moon and the sun were made.
8. And lo, this first man on earth, who came forth from the hands of the might and power of eternal Love, was called by the mouth of merciful grace ‘Adam’, or ‘Son of Mercy and Grace’.
9. Now take good note of this: This ‘Adam’ was the first of the fallen spirits. It was not revealed to him who he was, and since he did not recognize himself and could not find anything that was like him, he grew bored.
10. And behold, imperceptible to the still blind eyes of his soul, eternal Love breathed on him, and for the first time he fell asleep within the sweetness of merciful Love, whereupon merciful Love formed within the heart of Adam, as though in a pleasant dream, a figure, similar to himself, and of great charm and beauty.
11. Eternal Love saw what great joy Adam experienced through the inner contemplation of his second self. Then merciful Love touched him on the side where he had been given a heart, similar to the heart of the Divinity, for the reception of love and life from the love in God. Thereby It took away his self-love in order to prepare a dwelling-place for Itself through the future law of merciful grace. Adam’s self-love, which delighted him so, was set outside of him in a material body, and it was called “Caiva” or, as you are used to say nowadays, ‘Eve’. This was done in preparation of the deliverance from self-love and the resulting rebirth thereof.
12. And behold, merciful Love touched and awakened him for the contemplation of his self-love outside of himself, and saw that he delighted greatly in the contemplation of his love outside of himself, cheerful beyond all measure. This love, which was now called ‘Eve’, took pleasure in the man Adam as well, bent towards him and followed his every movement.
13. And behold, eternal Love addressed Adam for the first time: “Adam!” – And he spoke for the first time: “Here I am, Lord of Glory, Might and Power!”
14. Eternal Love spoke again: “Behold your helpmeet!” – And ‘Eve’ answered: “Behold, O Lord, the maid lying obediently at the feet of Your son, awaiting his orders!”
15. And behold, merciful Love found great pleasure in the works of Its might and power through the grace of Its mercy, continuing to speak and instruct them in all things, teaching them to know, to name and how to utilize. And when they understood and knew all things and were able to use them, merciful Love once again spoke to them: “Now you have learnt of all things, you know them and are able to use them, except for one thing, and this I will now teach you, and I will grant you the power to procreate and reproduce your kind. But you may only use it once I return, when I find you clothed with the garment of obedience, humility, faithfulness and chastity. However, woe upon you if I find you naked; I shall cast you out, and the consequence will be death!”

Chapter 6 – The Correspondence of the Celestial Bodies
Thus spoke the Lord to me (Jakob Lorber), and within me for everyone, and that is true, faithful and certain:
1. Now lift your eyes from the earth to the sun, a true image of the reborn! Look closely and you will notice that, occasionally, there appear spots on its belt. Behold, from a natural point of view they are eruptions from within, as from the volcanoes of the earth.
They represent eruptions of the Divinity’s wrath, small indications of Its all-destructive might, which, according to the nature of the world, always makes itself partly known on earth through more or less violent storms, depending on the size of the spots. However, Love then becomes all the more active and appeases everything once again with the water of mercy, and upon the sun with great floods from the boundless sea of Its merciful grace.
And behold, in this way everything is restored to perfect order once more, wherein I am eternal Love Itself from the eternity of eternities. Out of and in this order, everything that exists was made, and nothing can be or come into existence outside of it. Whoever voluntarily steps out of this order acts adversely to love and life, and will perish forever.
2. Now you have beheld the sun and conceived its nature, which is, and must be, simple, so that it can exist for the purpose for which it is and must be, by the order of Love.
3. Now turn your eyes to the rebirth of the spirit, to the people of God, to the law of Love, to the life of freedom in the light of the grace from the waters of mercy, and the sun will float before your eyes unveiled, and not one of its folds shall remain hidden from you.
4. Behold, the sun possesses its own poles as well, from which all its light and warmth pour forth, out of the center of the stillness of grace, spreading all over it. If it did not have the stillness of the poles, it would not have any light. For the stillness is indispensable for the reception of light and warmth, and must be like the stillness of love in God. Only from stillness comes the receptivity for life and light.
5. And behold, when the air is still, it is a clear and bright day on earth, whereas violent winds blowing in all directions will soon cause black clouds to appear and darken the light.
6. Your desires, through which you are surrounded by all kinds of cares, resemble the winds. They prevent the light of grace from flowing into you, as the clouds driven by the winds prevent the rays of the sun from falling upon the earth.
7. Therefore, you shall not worry, but direct and transfer all your desires and the resultant cares to Me, so that you may be at peace and I may keep flowing into you.
8. Behold, as the earth rotates regularly around the stillness of its poles, according to My order, effected by the might of My love, so that none of its parts remain without light, all your actions shall come forth from My love as well, which dwells within you since the beginning and will dwell within you thereafter, according to your ability through the Word of eternal Love, given in the law of grace and mercy. And as the night refreshes the earth, so shall you be refreshed by love; and the light from the sun of grace, like the day on earth is illuminated, shall illuminate you.
9. You shall be like the winter, cold in its stillness and thereby above all capable of receiving the warmth into the deepest depths of the earth. And to whom winter has come, spring will come too, as the first life of love within you. And summer will come in fullest activity out of the life of love, which, through grace, has become strong within you. Then quiet autumn will come with the fruits of the labors of love and grace, and you will enter into the life of the sun, fully reborn to behold the countenance of your holy Father, and, like the sun, give light to all the world through the great power of the grace, love and mercy of your exceedingly good and holy Father.
10. But he who is not like the moon and does not become like the earth is incapable of becoming like the sun. He is like a comet without any firmness, and his nature is a stolen One from the suns’ outflows of grace; his path is disorderly, like the ways of thieves and robbers, and he is driven by the fear of light from one cosmic depth to another, and will never again find rest in all eternity. The light will pursue him on all his ways and illuminate his nothingness.
11. And finally he will fare like the shooting stars that are thrown out of grace and rejected because of their nothingness, and consumed through the theft of grace. For the stolen light will destroy them forever, and they will be no more, like the fruits of the trees that prematurely sprouted towards the light, before love had made them firm. And since they have no firmness, because they are too loosely connected with love, they grow ever weaker, fall off the tree, are trampled underfoot and destroyed.
12. Behold, here you have unveiled before you the nature and significance of the suns, earths, moons, comets and shooting stars with all their parts, from the greatest to the smallest
13. The spirit of love and grace is within you and all wisdom. Whoever listens to it will fathom all things in the depth of depths, and he will explore the dead, and they will answer him. He will understand the living, and their love will refresh him, and their light delight him.
He will put his ear to the earth, and the grass will tell him of the mysteries of love, the earth will reveal its depths to him, the mountains will listen to his voice, and the sound of his speech will penetrate the marrow of the earth. And when he gazes at the sea, the rays from his eyes will shine through all its drops and penetrate every grain of sand, and the judged spirits still imprisoned therein will stream towards the light of his eyes, just like the fish and worms of the seas and waters that hurry towards the light of a torch shone upon the surface at night, and will let themselves be caught for release from the dungeons of eternal night.
They will recognize Love, quench their thirst with the waters of mercy, and rise to the weakness, the strength and the power from the love of the Father and the Word, which is the Love within the Father, and the Spirit that is the power within both.
14. Behold, all this and many other things will My Spirit teach you if you listen to Its voice! However, Its voice is not loud, it is very soft, but exactly because of this it is all-penetrating, like the warmth of love and the light of grace, and like the power of your holy Father’s merciful love.

The Secret of Creation
Thus spoke the Lord to me (Jakob Lorber), and within me for everyone, and that is true, faithful and certain:
1. He who has ears to hear, let him hear, and who has eyes to see, let him see. I will reveal a great secret to you, so that you may see how your most loving and holy Father presents Himself in a brotherly manner, enabling you to see and enjoy Him face to face. For the children must be introduced to their Father's great household from eternity.
2. The Divinity was, from eternity, the power permeating all endlessness of infinity, and It was and is and will forever be infinity itself. In the center of Its depth I was, from eternity, the Love and the very life within It; but behold, I was blind, like an embryo within the womb. The Divinity, however, took pleasure in Its Love and pressed hard towards it. The Love felt ever more ardent in its center, masses upon masses of the Divinity assailed it, and all powers and forces stormed towards it.
3. Then there arose a great hum, a storming and roaring, and, behold, Love became fearful and was pressed hard from all sides, so much so that it trembled deep within. Love became aware of it all, and the hum became a sound, and the sound within Love became a word, and the word spoke: "Let there be light!" And within the heart, the flame of the ignited Love began to blaze, and it became light in all the spaces of infinity.
4. God saw the great glory of His Love within Him, and Love was strengthened with the power of the Divinity, and thus It united with Love forever, and the light issued from the warmth.
5. And lo, Love saw within the Divinity all the glories, whose number is endless, and the Divinity saw how all this flowed into It from Love, and Love saw its thoughts within the Divinity and found great pleasure in them. Thereupon Love ignited anew, and the powers of the Divinity moved around it, and behold: The thoughts emanating from Love were themselves love, countless in number.
6. There the Divinity saw Its glory, and Love felt Its power. And the Love within the Divinity spoke: "Let us hold the thoughts of glory and cause them to go forth, so that they may become free, perceiving Us and becoming aware of how We perceive and see them, how We perceived and saw them before the light illuminated their forms!"
7. Then the Word passed into the Divinity and It became Love throughout. And lo, the Divinity spoke for the first time: "Let there be!" And a host of spirits, countless in number, was set free from the Divinity, and Love saw Itself endlessly multiplied, beholding Its infinite beauty in perfection.
8. However, all the beings were not yet alive and did not yet perceive and see, for they were still fixed forms in the Divinity, outside of Love.
9. Love felt compassion and began to stir, and the motion rose within the Divinity, and the Divinity gave Its captives to Love, and Love permeated all. And lo, the forms became alive and looked at each other in amazement, warming themselves at the flames streaming from the divine Love, thereby receiving independent movement and activity. But they did not recognize themselves yet.
10. Then Love spoke again: "Let Us make them recognize themselves, so that they may know Me, and through Me also You."
11. Once again the Word arose within the Divinity, and the Word resounded within the Divinity, and the Word became law, and the law was Love, flowing into all.
12. And behold, there were made Three, and from them came forth Seven! And the Three equaled the Love, the Light and the Divinity, and the Seven equaled the seven spirits of God. They are and shall forever be called: 1. Love the Love. 2. Fear the Divinity that slays, lest you be slain. 3. The love within you is holy; so respect one another, as the Love within the Divinity respects you and is pleased with you. 4. Everyone belongs to himself, as well as to the Love of God. Therefore, let no one be prey to another. 5. Let no one ever hide his face from the other, to prevent him from knowing what love is like, so that you may be like the Love which called you into existence. 6. Let your innermost be like your outermost, so that no false emotion may arise within you and you perish. 7. Your outermost shall be the true reflection of your inner mirror, in which the Love of the Divinity gazes upon Itself; otherwise the inner mirror will break to pieces, and your form become hideous.
13. Then the Divinity thundered in the infinite spaces a dreadful judgment to the transgressors, and they were bidden to worship the Divinity in the greatest fear and love of the Love. They were expunged from the Divinity into the greatest freedom and could do as they pleased, and nothing shall impede their freedom until the time when they will have recognized themselves in their freedom and their humility, so that the law may become their own, and they be completely free.
14. However, now they became aware of their great might and their all-outshining splendor and majesty, and the first of the three, akin to the light of the Divinity, ignited himself in his desire to fully overpower the Divinity. Through him were also kindled a great part of the spirits he had created. Thereupon the Divinity was kindled in its anger, as were the remaining two of the three spirits, and cast the evil horde into the most profound depth of Its wrath.
15. The two remaining, and those who had come forth from them, and the seven, whose number was just, were found faithful in their humility and were admitted into the spheres of the might of God. And Love saw that they had been found pure and rejoiced in their perfection. And behold, the power of the Divinity rose within the Love, and the Divinity moved, and the created noticed the movement of the Divinity. The Divinity moved towards Its Love, and the eyes of the created were opened, and they beheld eternal Love for the first time.
16. The hosts of countless beings were amazed, and there was jubilation and great joy among them, for they saw the might of God within Love, as well as the love within themselves, and the power that had called them into existence. They recognized themselves, the Love, and God.
17. Now the Divinity moved, and the created were afraid. Love saw their fear and that it was just. Their fear became obedience, and obedience was humility, and the humility was their love, and love became their law, and the law their eternal freedom, and the freedom became their life, and the life their eternal bliss.
18. And lo, eternal Love spoke to them, and they understood the Word! Then their tongues were loosened, and the first word that flowed from their lips, was love. The Divinity was pleased with the tone of their speech and moved by love, and the movement took form within the created, and the form became sound, and the sound was the second word - God.
19. And only now were the created perfected. Love spoke to them: "The first among you was lost. Therefore, I am taking his place and shall be among you forever!"
20. Once more their tongues were loosened, they bent their knees and worshipped Love.
21. Now behold, all that Love did, and God within Love, and Love within God. Love felt compassion for the lost, but the Divinity quaked in Its wrath and a great thunder was heard in all the spaces of God's infinity. The thunder penetrated the innermost of eternal Love, and Love alone understood the thunder of the Divinity. The thunder became a word within It, speaking: "Yours shall be all the might; do whatever pleases You and speak: 'Let there be' and it shall be!"
22. And lo, Love was stirred to Its innermost, and the first tear flowed from the eye of eternal Love, and this tear flowed from the heart of the Divinity and was, is, and shall forever be called MERCY.
23. This tear became a great body of water, flowing into all the spaces of infinity and into the deepest depths of the wrath of the Divinity, appeasing the fire of God's anger.
24. And lo, the Spirit of God, in its power, moved gently over the waters of mercy, and the waters parted. God spoke out of His Love, and His Love was the Word, and the Word descended into the deepest depths and hovered above the waters, and the waters became separated like dew-drops, were spread out in all the spaces of infinity, as large and small drops, according to the number of the lost, endless in truth.
25. And lo, the last drop that remained was the innermost of the waters, and the innermost of mercy; it was not spread out, but remained where it had been left and was destined to be the center and the stage for the greatest deeds of eternal Love.
26. And now behold: This last drop became the planet earth, which you and your brothers inhabit. The other drops were formed into countless suns, planets and moons of all kinds. And lo, thus came into existence the firmament, with its stars, the sun, the moon, and the visible earth, with its oceans and solid land.
27. Now lift up your eyes and see, and you shall comprehend the wonders of eternal Love! You always see the radiance of the sun, the light of the moon and the shimmer and glitter of the stars in their varied constellations, which you call the signs of the Zodiac. You see also the great variety of formations in all the three kingdoms of nature of the natural earth. However, to this day no one has fathomed and properly comprehended the nature and source of the sun's radiance and how it has come about, the shine of the moon, the shimmer and glitter of the stars and their most varied constellations, and the structure of the earth.
28. For behold, My children must be introduced to all the beautiful things their holy, most loving Father has available as gifts for His children that recognize Him, love Him alone above all and love each other out of love of their Father.
29. And behold: When all the suns with their planets came into existence through the might of the eternal, infinite God's merciful love, they had as of yet no radiance, shine, shimmer or glimmer, for there was still dark night upon the created suns, earths and moons. But into the center of the suns eternal Love sank a small spark of Its grace, and this spark – faster than lightning - illuminated the dark masses, and lo, they shone upon the earths with a great radiance, are still shining and will do so as long as the spark of grace is not taken from them.
30. And behold, the earths and moons also began to shine, and they were allocated to the suns in just numbers, and Love breathed upon them through the power and might of the Divinity, and lo, the light vibrated upon the suns, the seas on the planets heaved and whirled the floods, and the air currents and winds floated and blew over the earths like the Spirit of God over the waters of mercy. The moons rose mightily above the earths to which they had been given, like fruit on a tree, and began to revolve around them in wide circles as constant companions. And where there were many of them they were united in fixed orbits as a sign of the love of the children who are to constantly behold the face of their Father, as do the moons their earths, to prevent them from being torn from their orbits and destroyed on account of their loose structure.
31. For behold, the moons are not solid, but porous, similar to the foam of the sea when it grows firmer and more solid, and they are barren and without water. The air of the earth is as the water of the moons, and their air is like the ether between the suns and earths. The moons are destined to receive those clinging to the world, to hold the spirits of matter, to probe their constancy and mature them for the reception of grace.
32. The solid part of the earths is the part of the wrath of the Divinity that was appeased through mercy, and holds with strong fetters the spirits of those who had strayed. They will be held until the appointed time of their unaware release when they, individually bound, are put into matter, which is softer, yet strong enough to hold them, and from which they will only be able to emerge when eternal Love has awakened them once more. The seas and bodies of water are full of them, so they may become humble therein, and the air is full of them, so that they may be purified therein. Eternal Love is the form in everything; however the wrath of the Divinity is only appeased on earth, but not abolished.
33. But know this well: In the center of the sun dwells the spark of grace and gives light to the world through the fire of God's wrath. In the center of the earth, however, there dwells a spark of God's wrath like a fire-dragon, keeping the evil hordes in a solid state, like stones, which must first be softened through the water of mercy if they are to be released for a second trial, to gain freedom and eternal life. Now understand the mystery of your being and marvel at the great love of eternal Might, and how often It has let you be born again in order to reclaim you who were lost, for eternal life, for freedom, for the law, for love and light, and for beholding Its countenance. Behold, all this I want to make known to you, and through you to many others too, so that you may finally understand how exceedingly good eternal Love must be when It untiringly tolerates so much and does such great and marvelous things for you disobedient beings.
34. And so, through the breath of the mercy of Love, the earths were made to revolve around their suns and rotate around their own centers, as a sign to the children, so that, in all they do, they may follow the example of the earths' movement around the suns and the moons around the earths. The weak shall be like the moons, and the strong like the earth, and the reborn shall be like the sun. The weak shall behold the strength of Love that never forsakes them, if they, like the moons, steadfastly turn towards the face of Love, revolving around it in smaller circles, yet by its power are also drawn into the great circle. The strong shall be like the earth, rotating independently, in order to hold themselves ready at all times to receive the light and warmth from the grace of Love. Through its inner power this gives them light, warmth and life, so that they may produce fruit of all kinds from the works of love, giving food to the weak, refreshing the incarnate and delighting the reborn. And the reborn, out of the waters of merciful Love, within whom grace is perfect, shall be like the sun. Their light shall shine everywhere and their warmth shall revive the weak and stimulate the strong towards nourishing the weak, that there may be fellowship among the children of One and the same Father.
35. And behold, you shall look deeper still and see how and why I have arranged all things in this way! Lo, the moon has specks and many dark areas, and the earth has cold but firm poles, high mountains and low valleys, springs, brooks, rivers, streams, lakes, seas and great oceans; and the sun has large and small spots. Behold, all these things are effects of love and grace or, respectively, warmth and light, all of which is eternal Love and the power of the Divinity through It. Therefore, look at the weak and the moon, how alike they are, and the moon's nature is revealed to you. Look at the strong and all their works, and the earth is revealed before your eyes. And from one pole to the other there must be the rigid stillness of the spirit within the love towards Love, so that everything which surrounds the spirit can move in a constant order and thereby be active for the common purpose of everlasting preservation. For behold, everything depends on the stillness; without it, nothing can be achieved, and he who is not like the poles of the earth does not penetrate his innermost, as does the line between the poles the center of the earth. Your love must be cold like the ice of the poles to enable you to absorb all the warmth of divine love. For behold, what is warm is not fit for the reception of warmth, but what is cold, in its stillness, is capable of absorbing the warmth completely and letting it stream forth into all parts of life. For whoever absorbs the warmth, which is the love of God, keeps it firmly within and does not allow it to flow on, is a miser who dissolves himself and is destroyed like ice at the fire. However, he who receives it like the poles and passes it promptly onto all around him, be they near or far, with him divine love is in the right place and fully corresponds to the will of the great and holy Giver.
36. This love will bring much fruit, it will rise to the light of grace and constantly behold the boundless depths of the Divinity, like the poles that look into the infinite spaces of the creations of the love of God. It will, with its eyes wide open, absorb the soft rays from the boundlessness of all the infinite spaces, where mercy's countless beings are circling, everyone according to its kind, and will, out of delight and bliss in its love towards Love and for Love, ignite itself and become self-illuminating, like a sun or the light of the earth's poles.
37. Therefore, whoever remains constant in the center of the love of cognition, which is grace, will have his loins be aglow with love out of God, like the girdle of the earth, and his eyes will shine with understanding like the poles, and his arms will move like the rivers, brooks and springs, and his deeds will stream towards the seas of the divine mercies, which are salted with grace and the understanding of eternal Love and everlasting life.

Chapter 22 – True and false Charity – July 7th 1840
The Lord says:
1. Every poor person in need of help is a close brother to Me, just like the greedy rich people are to satan.
2. When I send my poor brothers to the door of the rich and wealthy, then know that I have not yet withdrawn My love from you.
3. But once you have reached a point, and I am speaking in general here, where the poor ones do not even dare to come close to your home anymore, then you know that My love has departed from you forevermore. A rich individual such as that will then be under the protection of hell in the world, yet only deceptively so, for even amidst all his alleged luck, not a single spark of My love, and even less of My grace, can be found.
4. It is the same with all those rich in the world and in money, who give either much alms or very little, simply for the sake of their reputation or a certain duty. I would like to say, the so called ‘mild ones’ are an abomination: ‘Whore’ contributions, issuing pennywise from certain dance-, gaming- and many other amusement opportunities, which I detest, all for appearances, to grant the public harlotry an even greater scope! O, what an eternal disgrace this is, to establish a sacrificial altar for Me in the chapels of satan!
5. Therefore, My dear ones, you shall not act like the children of hell, and instead, your offering shall be seen by nobody other than Myself, the poor and yourselves. And all shall give generously, relative to their assets!
6. For truly, I say to you… For but a penny you will receive an Earth, and for a drink of living water, an entire sun, of which you will be lords! If you will do so out of pure love for Me, then, friends, I tell you nothing else than this… Firstly, none of you will ever see nor feel death throughout your life among matter, for your sweet passing will be a great awakening in the arms of your most holy Father. And secondly, what it means ‘to be a friend of God, eternally’. This, friends, consider, Who is calling you His friends! That, you cannot fathom!
7. Now, My servant will show you a poor man… He is doubly poor, both in body and spirit; help him with his body first, but then with his spirit as well! Whoever will be the first to do so will experience much joy. Do it, and don’t ask… ‘Who?’ – Instead, help the one presented to you! He is your brother, and you shall not worry about anything else, if you wish to be true children of your Father in Heaven, Who lets His sun shine over both the good and the wicked, and Who gives food to even the rapacious animals. Amen! I, Jehovah, your Father! Amen, amen, amen.
Chapter 23 – Regarding Balls and Places of Entertainment – July 17th 1840
1. This I say to you, My lazy servant, to reveal to you the source of the disgust that befalls you whenever you hear anything regarding dancing, the ‘Masquerade’, the ‘Reunion’, the ‘Ball’, the ‘Casino’, and especially now the wicked foundation of the so called middle-class ‘Ressource’.
2. The disgust you feel is quite just, for it emerges from the spirit. For every dance, every ‘Reunion’ and every ‘Ball’ is an open grave full of filth. The ‘Casino’ is a dump of large, dead amphibians, and a ‘Ressource’ is an abyss, in whose deepest depths satan has prepared a barrel adorned with flowers, so that even the spiritually sensitive noses shall not take notice of the unsubtle, deceptive stench of its refuse.
3. If but a little wisdom should suffice, then I have told you everything with these few short words, though your friends should take note of this as well. Therefore, it is still necessary to add a few more words, due to their limited insight.
4. Satan has seen, with chagrin and much anger, that there are several better families residing within this city who have refused to join his amusing seductions, because of the stench. For that reason, he has invented a new method… He has set up a large, sealed barrel within an infinitely deep abyss. The abyss of hell, however, he has covered with beautiful and incredibly smooth planks of wood, and he has adorned the descent with fragrant flowers of the world, so that none would suspect anything sinister!
5. He said to himself… ‘Here I shall prepare for myself a nice meal; I wish to start living off the tender flesh of the children, and not always have to consume the chewy meat of the worn-out whores, for in the future, my angels of hell shall chew and digest those. I will stay hidden behind the fragrant, alluring and beautiful flowers, where nobody shall notice me. As soon as the flower addicted children flock in, I will grasp, devour and digest them, and I will lower them as fine refuse into the barrel deep down in the abyss. Then shall the parents see how they could ever get them out of there, as true as I, Satan, am the mightiest! It shall be easier for them to tear a fixed star from the sky, than to rescue even a single hair of these children, be it a girl or a boy, from those depths!”
6. There it is, Satan’s own words and plan revealed! So, what do you think, how much does such an establishment please Me?!
7. In all My incorruptible truth, as a fatherly and divine caretaker have I now revealed to you the great danger. My few children, satan stands before you, exposed in the depths of his wickedness. Therefore, take heed of My love and of this great grace flowing from the love of your Holy Father, and be on your guard! For those who see the enemy will be able to flee from him. But woe to the blind and deaf, and those who will not heed My counsel! I will rather send My angels down to all the hells, to convert those gone astray, and illuminate all the darkness there, than to gaze at such a barrel with but a single, merciful glance! – Amen. – Remember, this say I, the God of Eternity… Amen.

Chapter 193 – The earnestness of the Lord.
193,1. Now a stranger came to Me and said: “Lord and Master, can You heal every sickness of men as You have now healed the young Egyptian, and from who have You learned this wonderful way of healing the sick?”
193,2. Said I: “Listen, you curious Arabian, nothing is impossible for Me, and what I have, I have from My Father in Heaven. But no one knows this Father except I alone, and no one knows Me as completely as My Father knows Me. Be satisfied with that and do not ask Me anything else, for you and your tribe are still far from the Kingdom of God. Your heaven consists of your women and female slaves, and those who praise such a heaven as being THE Heaven, they are still far from Me and My Father.”
193,3. After these words the Arab kept quiet and did not ask Me anything else.
193,4. However, when the Essenes who were present noticed how I had so quickly dealt with the question of the Arab, they thought that I was perhaps in not such a good mood, and that someone might have offended Me.
193,5. But I said to them: “How can you think something like that of Me even though you know Me? I am not like a weakling, afflicted with all manner of passions, instead I have come into this world to help all those who will believe in Me, living and acting according to My teaching. And so I am now as I was before, even before this Earth was created. I even love those who still do not know Me and never have known Me. To them as well will the gospel be preached at the right moment. Whoever takes that to heart will receive eternal life, but whoever does not accept the gospel will remain in the old judgment and death.
193,6. So, in future, take care that even the many dead who come to you, seeking all kinds of help with you, will receive My teaching and wake up in the spirit and may become alive, for by that you will truly help them. I wish for everyone to be happy, and because I want that and have come into this world to open the gates to eternal life for all men, I am not one way today and another way tomorrow, but always the same as the Father in Heaven, He who is in Me, lives, works, directs and maintains.
193,7. Since, in full earnest, I want only the best for all men, without restricting their free will, I cannot play and joke with them, but always deal with them in seriousness, showing them the ways faithfully and truthfully through teaching and deeds, by which they may attain the eternal and true life of their soul, if they want it.
193,8. Now, if I have come to the people in this world with intentions such as these, how then could I ever, like a man, be in a bad mood, and who could offend Me? He who has recognized Me, believes in Me and acts according to My teaching will certainly not offend Me, and he who did not recognize Me, or who does not wish to recognize Me, even if he could recognize Me, cannot offend Me. He merely offends himself, for he becomes an enemy of his own life.
193,9. But I only seek those who are sick in soul and body, to help them, and not the healthy who do not need help. Of what kind of love, wisdom and justice would a doctor be accused if he were to hate the sick, persecuting and chastising them for being sick? So, think better of Me and remember that He who speaks to you now is a true and righteous Doctor for the soul and spirit, and in case of emergency, for the body as well.”
193,10. When the Essenes heard that from Me, they asked for forgiveness because they simply had such a human opinion of Me.
193,11. And the strangers said amongst themselves: “This really is an odd yet miraculous Doctor. He does not speak as a simple man would, but as a God would. One must listen to Him and conform to His words.”
193,12. But I said to the Essenes: “Why do you still ask forgiveness of Me when I have just shown you clearly how and why no one could ever offend Me? I say to you: Forgive each other your sins and foolishness, and awaken your love for God and your fellow men, for then I will forgive you your sins as well.
193,13. But if someone is a fool, blind and mute, would it be of help to him if I said to him: I forgive you your foolishness, your blindness and your muteness? No, no one would benefit from this, for by that the fool will remain a fool, the blind will remain blind and the mute will remain mute. But if I were to heal the fool, the blind and the mute from their illness by word, advice and deed, then thereby they will all be truly helped.
193,14. So then, let him who commits folly recognize the foolishness, cast it off and never do it again; then it will be forgiven him in Heaven. Yet as long as he does not do so, continuing from time to time to ask God for the forgiveness of his sins, they will not be forgiven, not until he will forgive his own sins by completely casting off his old foolishness. So, let everyone sweep before his own door first. Thereafter, he may go to his neighbor and tell him: “Behold, I have cleansed myself of my filth and I am now well with myself; please allow me to clean your hallway now, by making up for all the injustice that was done to you, if you like.” Yes, when the two neighbors make up and reconcile with each other amicably, then will everything be made up for and reconciled in Heaven as well. But if this is not done, then it is of no use to ask Heaven for the forgiveness of one’s sins.”
Chapter 194 – The proper forgiveness of sins.
194,1. (The Lord:) “He who sees well may, if he were to spy a splinter in the eye of his brother, indeed say to him: “Brother, allow me to remove that splinter from your eye.” But he who carries not only a splinter, but an entire beam of sins and foolishness in his own eye, let him attempt to remove it. Only after his own eye has been made pure can he help his brother in removing the splinter from his eye.
194,2. He who teaches his fellow men, may he not do so with wise and well-assembled words alone, like the Pharisees and other false prophets are doing, but rather with his deeds and works, for then he will move his fellow men to a true and living observance. But if he teaches one or the other thing, all the while acting himself in contradiction with his teaching, he is like a wolf in sheep’s clothing, gathering the shortsighted and credulous sheep around him, giving them wise lessons, only to make them willing prey to his maw.
194,3. Will it then be of any use to such a wolf of a teacher if he, furtively perceiving his injustice, were to say to God: “Lord, forgive my sins, for often have I sinned against Your sheep”, but would still remain the old wolf he had always been? O, this asking and praying will be of absolutely no use at all, for he is still the same old wolf. He shall desist from being a wolf completely and become a lamb, for only then he will have forgiven his sins himself, and they will be forgiven in Heaven as well.
194,4. If your brother has offended you and done you evil, you have, by the love in your heart, the fullest right to forgive the sins he has committed against you. And then, if he were to come to you amicably, thanking you for your love and earnestly promising to do right by you, then the sins he has committed against you are also forgiven in Heaven, even if you will not allow yourself to be indemnified by him.
194,5. Yet if this brother of yours does not perceive the injustice he has committed against you and continues to persevere in his wickedness, then your love and patience will be highly accredited to you in Heaven, but your brother will retain his sins for as long as he has not forgiven them himself, which only happens when he truly recognizes them as sins, abhors them in himself, discards them entirely and does not commit them again.
194,6. Now, if this is so, and cannot possibly be otherwise, how then can some of you Essenes say to the people: “We are chosen for the people by the highest God to be His representatives, and we have the right to forgive the people their sins and vices they have confessed to us, valid in Heaven if the one who confesses his guilt carries out the penance that we impose upon him and brings this or that offering!”, the latter being especially regarded as important? But if even I Myself cannot forgive the sins of any person unless he has forgiven himself, in the manner that has been shown to you, then how can you, in God’s stead, and for an offering no less, forgive the people the sins that they have never committed against you?
194,7. Yes, as proper doctors you may indeed earnestly ask the people who are seeking your help to confess their sins and infirmities to you, so that you may give them proper counsel for the future, granting them the desired healing of their soul and body if strictly observed. However, in that case you shall not be representatives of God capable of forgiving sin, but merely helping brothers and friends of your fellow men who suffer in body and soul, for then their sins will be forgiven in Heaven, if they will follow your advice precisely, and they will have forgiven their sins themselves completely.
194,8. So if, in the future, you truly wish to help people, then above all teach them how they must help themselves, for if there is no earnest self-help in advance, then God cannot help them. This is especially the case for the soul of man, which has become weak and sick by all manner of sins, often already entirely dead. Because of his free will and proper intellect, the soul of man is, as far as God is concerned, left to its own devices and it must cleanse itself of all the dross of matter and the judgment thereof, so that, afterward, it may also be purified and strengthened by the Spirit.
194,9. So set aside all your old foolishness and empty deceits, and make yourselves free thereof. Purify your souls thereby, for then I will be able to say to you: “Now you are pure in My eyes as well”. I will strengthen you through My Spirit, and this will awaken you to greater vigor, and you shall become true and complete men.
194,10. Now that you know this and have heard it from My mouth, act accordingly, for otherwise My most truthful and living words will be of as little use as your empty, untruthful and dead words have ever been for men.
194,11. My words are indeed the power and life out of God Himself, but they will only become part of your life if you act accordingly. Therefore, be always true doers and not merely hearers of the Word that I have spoken to you, for then shall all your sins be forgiven in Heaven as well, and I will always be able to help you. Did you understand this well?”
194,12. The chief of the Essenes said: “O Lord and Master in Your divine Spirit of eternity, who could not have understood this? For this truth is as bright as the midday sun, and in its light we have only now perceived what man must do, how he must live and act to truly be a man according to God’s will and order. Therefore, from now on we too will not be mere hearers, but also fervent fulfillers of Your holy Word, remaining such until the end of times of the Earth.
194,13. This old and sinful stronghold of ours shall be torn down and destroyed, both materially and spiritually, and in its place we will build a stronghold free and open on all sides. In the future, no longer shall the firm walls of our old stronghold protect us from all kinds of enemies, but only the power and eternal might of Your divine Word.
194,14. And if Your teaching were to ever be polluted among the people by all manner of false teachers and prophets, then, within our free walls and hearts, it will remain pure in meaning, understanding, spirit and deed, the way it had emerged from Your holy mouth and entered into our hearts and souls. O Lord and Master, do speak Your almighty ‘amen’ over it, for then will we Essenes, as future free masons and builders of Your divine stronghold among the people on Earth, remain its most loyal guards.”
194,15. Said I: “Yes, over this I do speak the great ‘amen’ from the mouth of the Father who had sent Himself in My person, from Heaven to you, and already tomorrow will you discover the result of the great ‘amen’ that I have now spoken. But for today, let us consider the work finished. Nonetheless, he who wishes to ask something may still do so, and I will answer him.”

Let Me explain to you THE TRUE CHURCH… The only beatific One
The Household of God Volume 1, Chapter 4, revealed thru Jakob Lorber
Thus spoke the Lord to me (Jakob Lorber), and within me for everyone, and that is true, faithful and certain:
1. My grace is a rich treasure; whoever receives it will have no lack of anything ever, temporally or eternally. Therefore, let everyone endeavor to obtain it forthwith, for I give it to whoever wishes to have it.
2. For behold, if you want forgiveness of your sins, they are forgiven, provided you do true penance through Jesus, who is My living Word and the love within Me. And the gates of heaven are open to you, and, if you wish it, you may enter and behold the face of your holy Father, who is I, the eternal God Jehovah.
3. You may do so with the help of the living Word, which is Jesus Christ, or the eternal Love and Wisdom within Me, from which keeps flowing all that is Good and True. Love has been given to you from the very beginning, for it is the true life within you, as is the might in My creatures, which, as it does not possess freedom, even though it also comes forth from My love, is not love itself, but only the effect of love, which, in and of itself, is without life. Therefore, whatever goes forth from the might is actually dead matter, possessing merely an apparent life, but in reality it is death.
4. So, if someone attaches his love to the material world, his love is crushed by the might of death, and the result is the lot of matter, or death.
5. But he who directs and attaches his love to Me, reunites his love with the love, or with the life of all life, and thus becomes alive throughout.
6. But now behold: Love, in itself, is blind and dark, and because of this it is free and independent, but also in great danger of losing itself and perishing.
7. And so, I give to all love for Me, depending on its intensity, a proper share of light, a gift going by the name of grace. With this I flow into everyone according to the degree of his love.
8. If a person possesses love, because he is bringing to life My law within him, which is the highest love, streams of light will be poured over him, and his eye will penetrate the earth and behold the depths of the heavens.
9. Tell the children, and tell all, of whatever religion they may be – Roman Catholics or Protestants, Jews, Turks, Brahmins or heathens, – in short, it concerns all: There is but One true church on earth, and this is the love for Me in My Son, which is the Holy Spirit within you, manifesting through My living Word, and this Word is the Son, and the Son is My love, dwelling within Me; I permeate Him completely, and We are one. Thus, I am within you, and your soul, whose heart is My abode, is the sole true church on earth. Therein alone is eternal life, and she is the only beatific church.
10. For behold, I am the Lord over all that exists. I am the eternal and almighty God, and as such, I am also your holy and most loving Father. All this I am in the Word, but the Word is in the Son, and the Son is in the love, and the love in the law, and the law has been given to you. If you heed it and act accordingly, you have absorbed it in you. Then it becomes alive within you, exalts you and makes you free, and you are no longer under the law, for you are above it in the grace and light, all of which is My wisdom.
11. And this is the bliss or the Kingdom of God within you, the sole beatific church on earth, and in no other is there eternal life but in this alone.
12. Or do you believe I dwell within the walls, or in the ceremony, or in the prayer, or in the worship? Oh no, there you are quite mistaken, for I am only where there is love, being Myself the very love, or the very life. I give you love and life, and I only unite with love and life, but never with matter or with death.
13. For this is why I have overcome death and made the Divinity subject to Me, so I might have the power over everything that exists, and that My love may reign forever and invigorate everything that is subject to it.
14. How can you believe that I wait for you in death, while I am life itself?! Therefore, enter the true church first, where there is life, and only then enter the dead church, so it may become alive through you!

The 10 Letters: H1 L V1 T S S A A S S
Volume 3, Chapter 88 – May 27, 1847
(Translator’s note: The initial letters, which originate from the German language, were retained, although in the translation some of them would obviously differ)
1. In the Household of God, chapter 3, verse 12, it says… “Behold, I will call them (your friends and brothers) all by name… H1 L V1 T S S A A S S. They shall all receive My fatherly salutation, and still today, if they so desire, shall the gates of heaven be opened to them, which are the eyes of their spirit; and already today will I dwell in their hearts. Only one thing shall they do with determination, namely, cleanse their flesh in the well that contains living water. And they shall take a staff that is half black and half white, break it in half, throw the black part at the feet of the world and keep the white part, as a token that they have broken with the world and its flesh forever.”
2. Concerning these ten letters which have not been understood so far, the salvation of the sun and the moon does not depend on it, and the stars continue in their paths without letting themselves be confounded through this lack of understanding. You all know that for life eternal only one thing is needed, and he who concentrates on that and strives after it has chosen the best part for the spirit, everything else is given freely when the time is right. Actually, every one of you could have had this little secret revealed already long ago, if he had earnestly turned to Me in his heart, full of faith. Instead, you have often pondered on this with your intellect, rather than with your heart, and that is the reason why you still do not understand this easy secret, simply because such things are not given to the intellect, but only to the heart and to the spirit.
3. However, in order for your still considerably ignorant heart in purely spiritual things to no longer send out the tiresome intellect as a scout into the precinct of spiritual mystery like a blind hunter, who has never as yet brought home any fat game, but instead only some half-decayed carcass, I will now explain to you who the friends symbolically denoted by these ten letters are. So listen and comprehend it well.
4. H1 signifies hell as a fleshly appendage to the soul; the number 1 stands for the arrogance, imperiousness and pride of hell in every person, and thus in you as well. Hell is every mortal’s closest friend, for it provides him with all the things that flatter his nature, filling it with all manner of enticements that please his flesh.
5. If I wish to take someone into My Kingdom and educate him for eternal life, I must take his friends too, which man, as long as he lives on earth, is never able to part with completely. Therefore sin, as part of this friend, must appear before My eyes as fully redeemed, for otherwise a further education of your spirit is unthinkable. This means that if I want to preserve you, I must, with My holy, fatherly hands, embrace your personal hell as well, to lift you up to My bosom together with your so far still most intimate friend! Here you now have the first letter, which I had not explained to you as of yet, and for very wise reasons.
6. The subsequent L signifies all kinds of passions (Leidenschaften) resulting from the H. That the passions are friends of men’s carnal nature as well, and must all be seized, lifted up and ennobled by Me, if man’s spirit is to recover for everlasting life, goes without saying.
7. V1 signifies reason (Vernunft) coupled with the intellect (Verstand), as given to the external natural man by the world or hell. It is hardly necessary to point out that this married couple ruling the entire world together with hell is most popular within every person, for a man would rather let go all other things than these his best and most intimate friends. Even if a person is sometimes not particularly happy with his other inner worldly friendship, he almost never or only very rarely has the slightest objection to these two.
8. However, if I want to raise a person towards Me, there is no other choice but to accord amnesty to these most intimate friends of his house as well. I think this should be very clear to you as you too still have a high opinion of these old friends of your house, although you understand well that one would not be able to achieve much with them in the realm of the spirit.
9. The T signifies the talent that sprouts simultaneously with the intellect, through which man can achieve various states of brilliance in which the S (self-love) chiefly dwells, and together with it, the second S as gloating (Schadenfreude); all of them intimate friends of man from the world, which I must accept too if I wish to save his spirit.
10. From these arise the faithful attachments to all worldly splendor and the ambition to rise ever higher in the world’s favor and its advantages, to raise oneself as much as possible above all others in one’s field, for which his friend T has prepared the way.
11. It goes without saying that when man is raised spiritually, the two friends A (attachments) and A (ambition) cannot be left behind and have to be admitted too, for the sake of man’s conversion and spiritual refinement. And since everything is already admitted, the last two S, as all kinds of carnal sensuality, of which everyone has a legion, and finally the well known worldly and extremely foolish morality (Sittlichkeit), such as fashion, compliments, etc., can also not be left behind.
12. Behold, as mentioned in the main work, these are the friends and brothers within you, as well as in My servant, by which everyone is to be understood. To these within you, you shall proclaim clearly that I have stretched out My hands towards them, washed what was evil, removed the sin and tuned them to the true interests of your spirit, so that you can now, if you so desire, progress unimpeded on the faithfully shown path of light and life.
13. However, should you still remain more faithful to these old friends than to Me, Who granted you this immense grace and fatherly favor, you are free to do so. The salvation of the sun and the moon will not depend on this either, and the stars will not miss their paths. However, as I have done already so much for you, I think that you will do this little thing, namely, henceforth adhere to Me more and more with your love, and not forsake your brothers.
14. Long ago I could have explained to you the ten friends of your earthly life in the flesh, if that had been good for you, but as I saw that these old friends of yours would have raised a considerable alarm if I had prematurely made them known in detail, and this only in the person of the servant, I have delayed revealing them.
15. But now that you know them, it is up to you to earnestly ponder on this matter, and with all your might accomplish the task demanded of you in the main work concerning these ten letters. For while you did not know the meaning of these letters, I did for you what I, in the person of the servant, demanded of the servant himself and of every one of you, and what I am still demanding.
16. As this secret is now revealed to you, it is your duty to fulfill the task within you; otherwise you could not be fully fit for My Kingdom. For here it means to put the hand to the plough and not look back. I have also always shown you in other ways what the natural man is like, and what he has to do in order to gradually transform the natural man into a spiritual one. And so, you could do well without this present revelation, you could have not missed out on anything and have been able to walk the right path without hesitation, which will be the case henceforth as well, as long as you faithfully observe what I faithfully show you.
17. Above all else, stick to love, for love will not forsake you. Everything may pass, but love remains forever. Where there is love, there is everything, for love preserves all things and is the foundation of all existence. Therefore, do not be faint-hearted, nor sad or grumpy, but in everything, be brave, serene and cheerful, of a pleasant mind, heart and spirit, for then you will walk your path with ease and always behold the gates of heaven wide open before you. This will make it easy for you to lead your earlier revealed world-friends, ennobled, into My Kingdom. This is the most ardent and loving will of the One Who is showing you here this immense grace through the servant… amen, amen, amen.

Chapter 3 – This says God as Father to His Children
Thus spoke the Lord to and within me (Jakob Lorber) – for everyone, and that is true, faithful and certain:
1. I am a good host, not a crumb of bread is lost. Whoever invests his capital with Me will receive high interest, and it will remain recorded in My heart, and the interest will be growing forever and ever. Look upward, you fool, and gaze at the starry sky! Who has ever counted the infinite number of suns and all the earths, of which I have created thousands for every sun? And I, Who am truthful and reliable in every one of My words, am telling you: For a penny, I shall give away an earth, and for a drink of fresh water, a sun. Truly, I tell you: The smallest service of brotherly love shall be rewarded richly and abundantly.
2. You ask Me whether there are humans everywhere like here on this earth you dwell upon. And I tell you: Yes, there are humans everywhere, going forth from My bowels, perceiving Me according to the respective organ. Those who go forth from My hands perceive Me according to My hands; those who go forth from My feet perceive Me accordingly; those who go forth from My head perceive Me according to My head; those who go forth from My hair perceive Me according to My hair; those who go forth from My loins perceive Me according to My loins; and altogether those who go forth from all the different parts of My bodily essence perceive Me accordingly. Their life and happiness correspond to that particular part from which they have emerged. They are all My creatures, whom I love, for I am love throughout and the very love everywhere.
3. However, the people of this earth I called forth from the center of My heart and created them fully in My image. They were meant to be not just My creatures, but My beloved children, who shall perceive Me not as God and Creator, but as their good Father, who will, after a short trial period, take them back into His house, to share in everything He has, dwell with Him everlastingly, ruling and judging the universe with Him. And behold, all my creatures love Me as their Creator and gratefully enjoy their existence; yet My children do not want their Father, and they reject His love.
4. Behold, it saddens Me when I see how, every hour, thousands upon thousands wither and pass away. Oh, if I could only help them! Is it not sad when the Almighty cannot help?!
5. Again you ask Me how this could be possible. Oh yes, I tell you, it is quite possible. Behold, all My creatures are held by My might, but My children are held by My love. My might commands, and it is obeyed, whereas My love merely desires and gently bids the free children, but the free children refuse to listen and do not wish to face their Father. Because they are free, as I am, I cannot help them if it is against their will. My might surpasses everything, but My will is subject to My children. Yet let everyone note this: I am your Father and am also your God, and beside Me there is none other. Do you want Me as a Father or as a God? Your actions shall give Me the crucial answer.
6. Take note of this: Love dwells only in the Father, and it is called the Son. Whoever scorns this love shall be subject to the mighty Divinity, losing his freedom forever, and death shall be his share, for the Divinity dwells in hell too, yet the Father dwells only in heaven. God judges everything according to His might, but grace and eternal life reside within the Father alone, and they are called the Son. The Divinity destroys everything; but the Son, or the love within Me, has life, gives life and makes alive.
7. All this says the good host and the provident Father to all His children, so they may change their ways and receive the inheritance I have faithfully prepared and kept for them from eternity.
8. Tell your friends and brothers lovingly that I, their most loving Father, have already stretched out both My arms to press them all to My heart, forever and ever. They shall, on no account, turn away from Me again, but shall keep gazing at My countenance, and My eyes will tell them and clearly proclaim how much I love them and how sincere My intentions towards them are.
9. Tell them: I have put their sins out of My sight and have washed them white as snow, and there is no longer any obstacle. No longer will I be an invisible father to them. They shall always see Me and be happy and joyful. All their worries they shall transfer to Me.
10. Oh, how gladly I shall take care of them! What are all the joys and beatitudes of My heavens for Me, the Father, compared with the bliss to be loved by My dear children as their only true Father!
11. Behold, I give you all the beatitudes for this one bliss, which I have reserved for Myself. And therefore My children shall call no one but Me their Father. For I certainly am their Father and I am fully entitled to that, and no one may take this right from Me, as I am the only one, and there is none other besides Me.
12. Behold, I will call them all (i. e., your friends and brothers) by name:

H1 – signifies hell as a fleshly appendage to the soul; the number “1” stands for the arrogance, tyranny and pride of hell
L – signifies all kinds of passions resulting from the “H1”
V1 – signifies reason coupled with the intellect, as given to the external natural man by the world or hell
T – signifies the talent that sprouts simultaneously with the intellect (V1)
S – self-love
S – gloating (and self-satisfaction)
A – Adherence to all world glamor
A – Incentive to rise ever higher in the world and in its advantages
S – Carnal sensuality
S – very foolish morality like fashion, compliments, etc.

They shall all receive My fatherly salutation, and even today, if they so desire, shall the gates of heaven be opened to them, which are the eyes of their spirit; and already today will I dwell in their hearts. Only one thing shall they do with determination, namely, cleanse their flesh in the well that contains living water. And they shall take a staff that is half black and half white, break it in half, throw the black part at the feet of the world and keep the white part, as a token that they have broken with the world and their flesh forever.
13. This means that they shall, in all earnest, do some soul-searching, recognize themselves and then present their discovered weaknesses to Me in their hearts. I shall remove the filth from their hearts and fill them with the fire of My divine, fatherly love. Thus cleansed they shall then show themselves to the priest* by and in the confession*. Thereupon I will come and share the joyous feast with them before the altar.
* On the understanding of “priests”, “confession” and “church” (in the following verse 14): More than 170 years ago, the church, as well as its customs and traditions, could have been changed by a faithful acceptance of the teachings of Christ. Now, in 2023, it is too late for that. Since October 7, 2023, He is calling out of the Churches, see Trumpet Call of God. But the pledge that the Father is always present in the trusting connection in the heart has eternal validity! (Theo)
14. Tell them also that they must, on no account, take offence at anything in or about the church*, for I purify every food I recommend for the one who wishes to partake of it in spirit and in truth, so he can enjoy it without fear. What I give to My children is clean and not desecrated through the outer form for those for whom I have blessed it. I shall bless the temple, and the place where they are shall be hallowed. For I, their holy Father, shall be in their midst wherever they go, and no harm shall come to them. 15. Tell them in no uncertain terms: My love is waiting for them, and I will not close My arms before all of them are resting in My embrace, where they will behold their most loving, holy Father face to face, and their joy will never end. Amen!
16. Tell all those who seek Me that I am always at home and never go out, and that I do not have fixed hours or times when a person may come to Me, unlike the kings on earth and the great ones of the world. Thus, a loving heart is welcome to Me not only on a Sabbath or Holy Day, but every minute, and even at night I have not ever barred the door to anyone. So, whenever you will knock, I shall say ‘Come in’!
17. You must and can tell them openly whether I have ever compelled you in any way or whether it was, at all times, left to your free will to come to Me with a question you wanted to ask, and if I have ever failed to answer you. When you asked Me from hell, I gave you an answer, and when you were on earth, I spoke to you, and I spoke to you in the heavens. My ear is open to you day and night. What you are writing here, you write at your own time and leisure, and I am always satisfied with how long and how much you wish to write. Therefore, tell them faithfully that it does not matter to Me, but whenever someone comes to Me, he is heard and accepted.
18. Tell the children that they shall not mock Me, but that they shall take this seriously. Tell them that I am never a jester, nor do I understand any joking; for I am serious about everyone, big and small, young and old, male and female. There are no exceptions with Me.
19. For behold, I instantly and forever destroy those of My creatures that are useless. But for My children I have plenty of punishments, and I shall discipline the disobedient to the last drop of their blood, and then they will surely recognize that I am at least the master of the house, if they do not want to recognize Me as their loving, holy Father.
20. Woe betide those who misunderstand and misinterpret My fatherly chastisements! I repeat: Woe betide them! They will be rejected by the Father and will have to deal with their forever-inexorable God. These things I am telling you, a lousy and lazy servant. Amen. I, Jehovah. Amen.

These are My Instructions to Mankind…. Blessed are Those who live by them
Thus spoke the Lord to me (Jakob Lorber), and within me for everyone, and that is true, faithful and certain:
1. You are the Lot of Sodom, but make sure that you do not suffocate in unchastity and thus participate in the heritage of the harlot, for you are unlike anyone before or after you. As a man, you are entirely in the flesh and its lust, but as a spirit you are completely free, with open eyes and open ears. You soil your body with filth, whilst streams of light are poured upon your spirit. Your body feeds with the swine, whilst a thousand angels surround your spirit. You have filled your earthly heart with garbage and excrement, but I have made My abode within the heart of your spirit. You talk with harlots, whilst I talk to you as a brother to his brother. You reek like a cesspool, and your spirit breathes in the sweet odors of the highest heavens. You are a horrible creature, but your eye outshines the very suns. Therefore, cleanse your flesh and become one with Me, so that I may become one with you.
2. Tell the fearful mothers not to raise their daughters to be afraid of men and the world. For what one fears, one blindly obeys when the temptation arises, and those who are feared have an easy victory. Rather, let them teach their daughters to respect and love Me, that I may be the victor, and that they despise the world, delighting in My boundless love instead. They shall not take them to public places to find a husband, but to Me. Let them bring them to Me and I tell you: Not one of their desires shall remain unblessed and unsatisfied. For I am a rich God, possessing everything in abundance, which He can, and will give abundantly.
3. The poor shall not beg at the doors of the rich, where they experience the lot of stray dogs, and their hearts are turned to sorrow and bitterness. They shall come to Me with great confidence, and I shall refresh them all. I shall feed the hungry and give drink to the thirsty, clothe the naked and heal the sick. The lame shall leap like a deer, the leper shall be cleansed, the blind will see and the deaf hear, and I will make the weak stronger than a lion. The timid shall become bolder than a colt, and the aged shall find rest. The poor one is My closest brother, and I care for him. Therefore, the dogs shall not profane him, for the rich of the world are brothers of Satan, children of the devil from hell.
4. Tell My friends that they shall not love My servants more than Me. They shall not place their salvation in their hands, but rather in My hands, and rely on Me alone. For the servant must act strictly in accordance with the command, lest he be found unworthy. The giver of the law alone stands above it and can place whomsoever He wishes above it as well. However, as long as they are under the yoke, they shall be judged, but whoever comes to Me, him I can remit judgment.
5. My church on earth is a bath of purification. Let those who have washed themselves come to Me, that I may dry them with the warmth of My love and keep them with Me. But the one who only enjoys the splashing and dabbling will fare like the mill wheels do, never exiting the water.
6. If someone has performed the works of true repentance, let him come to Me, and I will receive him like a prodigal son and keep him in My strength. For the servant may advise, but I can do it. The servant may instruct, but the salvation is My work. The servant may pray, but I alone can bless. My servant must pass fair judgment, but only the Lord has the right to give grace. Therefore, let them not forget the Lord above the servants!
7. Tell them this faithfully, word for word, without hesitation. For if you want to love Me, you must not fear the world, for I am more than the world.
8. To the world I am a most insignificant hero for whom there is not much regard. The scholars look down upon Me and, at most, they call Me an honest man. Some of them have already abandoned Me completely; for them I no longer exist. Others still admit to some divine trait in Me, but only for a short time, then they let themselves be influenced by the worldly-wise. Soon I am dismissed, regarded mostly as a God for aged women. For some of My servants, who imagine themselves to be great, I merely serve as an official seal and as a kind of external, divine cover for their idle nonsense and gross, utter foolishness and idiocy.
There are some who still permit Me to retain My divinity, but for this I must allow them to make of Me whatever they will in their pursuit of temporal gains. And the worst part is, I must be a downright absurdity! Love and mercy I may only have as long as it suits them; then I must become more pitiless than a stone and let Myself be changed into a most despicable tyrant. I am expected to rush from one tribunal to the next and pass one condemnation after the other. My love must therefore be only temporary, whereas My tyranny and harsh judgeship are meant to last forever. Oh, those utter fools! My infinite forbearance, gentleness, meekness and eternal love for My created beings certainly do not serve their greedy purposes, but all their plans shall soon be thwarted. Their accounts are set before Me, and the measure of their deeds has been almost filled, and their reward is awaiting them.
9. For him who does not know Me the way I am, and who I am, it would be better not to know anything about Me, for then I could still revive him in the spirit realm. But as things are they make themselves incapable of receiving My help as they kill the life within them by destroying and slaying Me within them, thereby becoming branches separated from the Vine.
10. (1) This I now say: I am the sole eternal God in My triune nature, as Father in My Divinity, as Son in My humanity and as Spirit in all life, action and cognition. I am, from eternity, the very love and wisdom. I have never received anything from anyone. Everything that exists is from Me, and whoever possesses something, anything, received it from Me. How can I be a tyrant and one who condemns? Oh, you fools! I love you, and you scorn Me. I am your Father, and you regard Me as an executioner. Where I bless, you curse. Where I build, you destroy. What I raise up, you bend low.
Where I sow, you send suffocating floods. You are against Me in everything. If I were as you say that I am, truly, I tell you, the earth would long since have ceased to exist; indeed, it would never have been created! However, since I am the way I am, everything is still in existence, as it has been and will be forever. And you will be the way you wish to be, without My condemnation, for you will be what you have made of yourselves. But those who accept Me as I am and love Me as I love them, them I shall make into what they wish to be, so that their freedom and joy may be perfect everlastingly.
11. Tell My servants: My offices are not exchange banks. For he who serves Me for the sake of money does not serve Me out of love. And the one who does not serve Me out of love is a stranger to Me in his service, as I must be a stranger to him, for he does not serve Me out of love; with him, My account is already closed. And how could he who sells his Master’s treasures illicitly like a thief, and at shameful prices at that, be a faithful servant? Judas Iscariot sold Me at least for 30 pieces of silver, not knowing what would happen to Me thereafter, for he was deluded and became lost. But now, already tortured, slain and risen, I am available for nothing but a song, at any time.
Oh you shameful thieves, you murderers, what can I compare you to? You children of the dragon, you brood of vipers! This is how you serve Me, thus I must find you as such?! I let My dear Paul tell you that he who serves the altar shall also live of the altar, but only from the works of love, which are the only good works. But you have no works of love and are, therefore, robbers and thieves and murderers of the Gospel and of all truth.
Know this: As the work, so the reward! Love cannot be had for money, but only for love. I am love itself and can never be won for any other price than love. I have redeemed all of you with love and, therefore, demand love from you in return. So, whoever wishes to serve Me, let him serve Me with the love with which I died for him on the cross. And he who wishes to come to Me, let him come to Me in the love that bled for him upon the cross.
12. Tell the ministers and lords of the world frankly and truthfully and without dread, that their offices do not rank higher than the offices of My kingdom. Soon I will destroy every office that is against Me. Woe to its servants! For I am the Most High, My law is eternal, as am I, and shall remain so in eternity. The moths are endeavoring to nibble at My law and make new laws from their own filth in order to eradicate My law, yet the latter shall crush and destroy them with its weight, as though they had never existed at all. All who sin against My laws may be forgiven, should they change their ways, recognize their mistakes, repent, and then turn to Me and remain in Me, and I in them.
But those who attempt to undermine My law shall be crushed by it, and they shall cease to exist forever. All the laws of the world undermine My command, unless the men instructed by My Spirit decree them out of My love. Woe to the tyrants and despots who rule because of the might and authority of their thrones. For when their measure is full, they shall experience the power of the weak. The ground is Mine, and the field is Mine. This says the Truthful One, the Eternal God of Love and Wisdom, and He makes it known through a fool to the wise of the world. Amen. I, Jehovah. Amen.

Already there is a Star in the East that will pave the way for Orion
July 25, 1842 - In the afternoon
The Lord says:
"Already there is a star in the East that will pave the way for Orion, and the fire of the Canis Major (Greater Dog in english) will consume them all."
1. What is the east, what is the star, what is Orion, what is the fire, what is the Canis Major? Who are those who will be consumed by the Canis Major's fire? -
2. The East is the inner, living Word, and through it, the true understanding of the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Covenants.
3. The star is the light of love within this very Word.
4. Orion is the love of God.
5. The fire of the Canis Major signifies the great faithfulness of this love, for the dog is a sign of faithfulness. However, those whom the fire will consume or put to shame are all worldly people.
6. And so, in other words, the above sentence means nothing else than:
7. The light of love of the new Word will pave the way for the Divine Love, and the faithfulness of this love will put all the wicked, all unbelievers and all the lukewarm to shame, for the East is free, and the star of love is already risen high above the horizon! -
8. This is the easy to understand meaning of these words, only a little more elevated than others. But now that I have revealed them to an even greater degree, they should be heeded all the more as well. Amen!

Volume 1, Chapter 1
The Heavenly Father’s Exhortations and Encouragements to His Children
Thus spoke the Lord to me (Jakob Lorber), and within me for everyone, and that is true, faithful and certain:
1. Whoever wishes to talk with Me, let him come to Me and I shall lay the answer into his heart. But only the pure, whose heart is full of meekness, shall hear the sound of My voice.
2. And he who prefers Me to the entire world and loves Me, like a tender bride loves her bridegroom, with him I shall walk hand in hand, and he will always behold Me, like a brother beholds his brother, and as I beheld him from eternity, before he was.
3. Tell the sick they shall not grieve about their sickness, but turn to Me in all earnest and trust Me completely. I shall comfort them, and a stream of the most precious balm will flow into their heart, and the fountain of eternal life will inexhaustibly manifest within them. They will recover and shall be refreshed like the grass after a downpour.
4. Tell those who seek Me: I am the true ‘everywhere’ and ‘nowhere’. I am everywhere where people love Me and keep My commandments, and nowhere where I am only praised and worshipped. For is love not more than prayer and the keeping of the commandments and worship? Truly, truly, I say to you: He who loves Me worships Me in spirit, and he who keeps My commandments is the one who truly reveres Me. But only he who loves Me can keep My commandments, and the one who loves Me has only one commandment – that he love Me and My living Word, which is the true, everlasting life.
5. Tell the weak from My mouth: I am a powerful God. Let them all turn to Me and I shall perfect them. Of the fly-catcher I shall make a lion-tamer, and the fearful shall destroy the world, and the mighty of the earth shall be scattered like chaff.
6. Tell the dancers openly that Satan manipulates them all. He seizes them all by their feet and whirls them around to make them dizzy enough so that they can neither stand nor walk, nor sit, nor sleep, nor rest, nor see, hear, feel, smell or taste, nor sense, for they are all dead and, therefore, can neither be advised nor helped. And even if they wished to turn to Me, they would feel like somebody whom a strong one had seized by the feet and whirled around. If he were to look up to the sky he would not see the sun, but only a bright streak blinding him, so that he would close his eyes, unwilling to see anything anymore.
7. The person whose physical eyes are blind still has the possibility of seeing with his spiritual eyes. But he who has turned blind in his spirit, remains so in eternity.
8. Tell the gamblers that they first gamble away their life and eventually everything that has been given to them for their life. For gambling is a well filled with poisonous filth. The gamblers believe it to be a hidden source of gold and keep burrowing in it daily, inhaling its pestilential odor, poisoning themselves through and through and finding their spirit’s eternal death instead of the imagined gold.
9. Those who have the Scriptures but do not read them are like thirsty men beside a well with pure water, which, however, they do not want to drink, either because of a certain spiritual dread of water like rabid dogs that, instead of drinking some water and recovering, will rather bite into the hardest stones to quench their thirst, or very often because of a certain indolence. They prefer to be served stinking slime from the nearest mud-hole to quench their thirst and eventually perish.
10. Tell the love-makers: Whoever walks in the flesh walks in death, and his lust will soon become the food of maggots. Only he who walks in the spirit will reach the light, the original source of life. His share will remain forever and keep increasing.
11. 11. To those who are fashion-crazy, tell in all earnest that they will be standing naked before their most just judge. Their splendor will vanish like bubbles. Their lust for power and pomp shall end in the lowest slavery, and they will be ashamed of their foolishness everlastingly. Is not he a great fool who wants to gild a rubbish heap and set jewels in the filthiest of excrement instead of gold! Oh, how many lunatics there are in the world these days! They regard the light as darkness, and the darkness as light!
12. Already there is a star in the East that will pave the way for Orion, and the fire of Sirius will consume all of them. And I will fling great numbers of stars to the earth, so that all the evildoers may perish and My light shine everywhere. (More in Heavenly Gifts 3, 46)
13. I, Jehovah, God from eternity, the True and Faithful, for a final warning. Amen.
14. This concerns, first of all, you, who have so poorly recorded this, and then all the others. Amen. This says the First and the Last. Amen.

Preface of the Lord
1. The writer of this work sought in all earnest and found what he had sought. He asked and it was given to him, and since he knocked at the right door, it was opened to him and to all those who are of a good heart and will. But those who did not seek with the heart, but always only with their presumed pure reason and keep examining and criticizing, they knock only on the hard and dead shell of matter instead of the living name of the eternal Giver of all good gifts, and they shall not be given and it will not be opened to them. For the Spirit of the Lord never reveals Itself through the intellect of the worldly-wise, but only in and through the simplicity of the heart to those who are regarded as fools by the worldly-wise. However, soon the intellect of the wise of the world will come to nothing before the simplicity of the fools.
2. He who will read this work with a humble, grateful and devout heart will gain from it much grace and blessing, and he will not fail to recognize the true author of the work. However, to the pure-reason-caste it does not make any difference whether they read Daniel, a Sir Walter Scott, or a Rousseau or Hegel; because for the worldly thinking everything is worldly and a higher communication from on high is regarded as an irresponsible fancy of ignorant, fanciful people who through their mysticism want to become someone or achieve something because they cannot do that on the road of pure reason which they do not possess.
3. But do not let this deceive you! How often the four Gospels have been distrusted! But are they because of it of less value in the hearts of the true believers in God? How often have I, the Lord and Giver of life and every gift of true benefit to the latter, been declared by the worldly-wise as just a man, as a mesmerist, also as a fraud and even as a purely fictitious person; and at present millions regard Me as such! Yet other millions are not led astray by it. They, as doers of My Word and not just hearers of it, understood in the simplicity of their hearts that Jesus of Nazareth was more than what the many worldly scholars take Him for. Therefore, where this work is concerned, let no one be influenced by the judgment of the world, which accepts only what is of its own kind, but let him listen only to the voice of the heart of the unsophisticated. They will express a correct opinion to everyone before the eyes of the good Giver. But the intellect of the worldly- wise will on many occasions find this a stumbling block. Good for the one who is not completely shipwrecked in the process!
4. He who reads this work and regards it as spiritual inspiration, but is not yet clear in his mind ‘whether it comes from a lower or a higher spirit’, is still extremely blind and the cover of his worldly intellect still mightily veils the vision of his heart.
5. Whoever has a living faith in Me is surely familiar with My strength, kindness and supreme wisdom, and he will, and must, understand that I possess strength and wisdom in eternal abundance and am surely able to oust forever the enemy from the field I am cultivating; for I and Satan have not ever yet used the plough in one and the same furrow. Unfortunately, this does happen where the intellect of the selfish world is involved, which is itself dark and sees everywhere nothing but darkness. However, in the eyes of those who are taught and educated by the Father everything appears quite different, for to the truly pure and enlightened all is pure and has sufficient light.
6. Let those who say that in order to be acceptable as inspired from on high this work lacks simplicity, tranquility and range of vision, as well as a certain depth in the whole of its ideology, be briefly told that they should examine their heart very carefully as to whether they themselves do not lack what they are missing in the Word. But they expressed their opinion so that, as European scholars, they have said something, too, about this work without having penetrated to the bottom of it. For in order to express an opinion obviously more is required than a superficial perusal of a section of the work.
7. What do such readers regard as simplicity? I think that writings which, despite the necessary, for the limited human understanding so mysterious abundance and depth of what they offer, are presented in a way that even children can properly understand them, once they are able to read reasonably well and are capable of thinking beyond the first rudiments of writing and arithmetic, could really not be lacking in a certain simplicity. Pictures and language do not ever imply the simplicity of a writing, but only the easy comprehension of an ever so simple heart that can find its way in such a writing, Everything else like an antiquated, awkward language and several thousands of years old corresponding allegories – is as far from simplicity as is the intellect of the worldly-wise. And as for the remarks about the needed tranquility and range of vision and the required depth in the whole of the ideology, there is all the more of all that contained in this work, the more the criticizing worldly wisdom imagines it to be lacking; for that which gives tranquility to the heart must itself have tranquility in abundance. Of course, it cannot give tranquility to the intellect, which is not receptive to this and, therefore, cannot find tranquility in a writing, as a stream cannot find it until it has reached the greatest depth of the sea. However, if the intellect of the worldly-wise could humble itself and descend from its presumed height into the simple little chamber of the heart, it would then out of this tranquility find the tranquility believed missing in this work and the fullest range of vision within it. But as long as the intellect is like a weather-cock on the spire of earthly wisdom, continuously turned in all directions by various winds of doubt, it will probably not find anywhere the tranquility it does not possess itself, nor the usual range of vision it enjoys on its windy height.
8. If someone misses in this work a certain depth of the whole ideology, let him be told that the Giver of this writing did not intend to develop in those who read it in the true tranquility and simplicity of their heart as what it actually is, such a view, which unfortunately has already spread too much among people, but simply to awaken a godliness and gratitude and there from a living faith and the proper love for God and the fellowman and to animate it to be lasting.
9. Besides, those who read this writing with the right attitude are still going to attain a sufficient depth in the better ideology without the help of scholars who by way of their futile rational examinations are not likely to ever reach the proper depths of the total ideology, which only in this work can be found by the right type of reader, – irrespective of other later works wherein, as it were, the sun and with it all the planets, solar- and central solar systems are materially and, above all, spiritually, sufficiently comprehensibly and fully described and revealed.
10. If in a work the material and especially the spiritual development of all created things from the very beginning – thus already during eternal periods and states of existence – is presented with sufficient clarity and somebody still finds too little depth in the supposedly lacking ideology, truly, in all the heavens there would not be found an eye-ointment with the help of which such scholars could cure their most regrettable short-sightedness.
11. “We simple and unsophisticated lovers of God”, the proper readers of this work have every right to say, “have, except for God’s university in our hearts, never attended another, neither in Paris nor in Jena and Goettingen, yet we do not wish to change places with all your celebrated worldly wisdom; for we prefer our inner beholding of the depths of our holy Father’s great creations to your thousand years of research with covered sight. We can see from your calendar how far your telescopes and mathematical lines are reaching, and your ways are familiar to us. However, how far the enlightened sight of our hearts resting in God reaches, to measure that your instruments and mathematical lines would not reach far enough and fail in their mathematics.”
12. So, whoever wishes to read this work with true benefit to his soul, let him read it in the simplicity of his devout heart without being a censor in the worldly way but let him always be only a careful householder of his heart, and he will find in this work in abundance what some highly educated readers have unfortunately not found.
13. And now, all My blessing and grace to the right readers of a pure heart and good will! Amen.

A rich Cheapskate in the Beyond…
Let Me show you where Stinginess leads you
March 30, 1844
1. Now then, write a stern word about the dream vision of old C. H., who was visited by a poor and filthy spirit, one who used to be a rich cheapskate on Earth!
2. This spirit is quite unwell where he resides, for there is nothing but night out of himself, as he is surrounded by an expansive desert. He suffers from hunger, thirst and cold, and he is of the fundamentally erroneous opinion, that the money he possessed in this world, if it were to be spread among the poor now, would offer him relief. For that reason he was allowed to open himself to this individual (C.H.) concerning this very matter, for initially he had denied the needy all the support they had begged of him on Earth, out of an utterly effeminate respect for his foolish an filthy wife!
3. Though this is but the plan of a spirit who knows nothing of Me yet, for he considers ‘God’ to be nothing but the supreme forces of nature! However, because he has taken with him enough of a hunch and awareness from the world to remember that, by supporting the poor, one may draw favor from a possible Divine Being, such a will has awakened within him, which he now seeks to fulfill.
4. Simultaneously, however, he recognizes the infeasibility of this foolish plan, and it makes him supremely miserable. It will not be possible to help and advise him for a long time, for, on account of all this, a great anger directed towards his left behind wife begins to rise within him, and she will not give an ear to this dream, for her ears are clogged with ore! Yet woe to the wife, should she follow her husband shortly and fall into his hands in the beyond! If she remains the way she is now, she will not be protected from him.
5. So, that is the state this spirit finds himself in in the beyond! Truly, he is sorrowful and suffers greatly. But it will be a thousand times worse for the wife, if she will not sincerely turn to Me during her lifetime on Earth and distribute 2/3 of her annual income to the needy among mankind, doing so out of pure love for both Me and the poor!
6. Truly, truly, whoever possesses wealth and fortune on Earth and doesn’t share it with his poor brothers during his lifetime to refresh their hearts, instead refusing to do so until his journey on this Earth comes to and end; one such as this will be considered a cheapskate, and his legacy shall never benefit him!
7. Whoever has children on this Earth and cares only for their provision, so that, after the parents’ passing, the children may live independently as rich individuals in the world and have a good wedding; truly, truly, as many pennies as their father and mother saved up for their children by way of the already unlawful capital, just as many years will they be held in the above described night, poverty and cold in the beyond, and they will not be lifted out of it for as long as not some final descendant of their lineage will carry the beggar’s staff!
8. If said spirit would instead have been an ‘unjust steward’ towards his foolish wife during his lifetime, using the great fortune for the benefit of the poor and not for his foolish wife and children, he would now be better off. This is why he became that rich woman’s husband in the first place, that he would use her wealth for the sake of heaven. However, he had forgotten Me and worked for his wife alone! So now he seeks help in the place he used to work for! Yet he never worked for Me, for he was nothing but an adversary to Me. That is why he does not recognize Me, why he refuses to seek My help, even though I am the only One who can help him.
9. How difficult would it be for a rich man to use 2/3 of his income to give a dowry to the children of poor parents, so they too could get married and would not be relinquished to fornication by the time of their corporeal maturity and hardship? Truly, whoever could do so easily would be cultivating subordinates for heaven, which would yield a much better life harvest than if his only care in the world was for his children to become landlords and, because of that, grow up to be conceited and unruly individuals, who would never wish to be punished by My Spirit, He who ever so gently admonishes and gives life to every creature!
10. This is My advice! However, everyone may do as he wishes! It will not take long for him to behold the fruits his works will offer him in the beyond!
11. And yet, to every rich man still residing on this Earth, I say: You may try it out on yourselves, what you will reap in the beyond! Behold, if you give alms pennywise, then it will not bother you, and you do not make a big deal out of it. But if you are asked for dollars (guilders), you pay much closer attention to the beggar, and not seldom do you pout about it! And if someone were to say to you: “Friend, brother! You are rich, grant me 1000, 2000 or 6000 dollars (guilders), for I have an urgent need for that which is dispensable to you” – What kind of answer would such a cheeky beggar receive?!
12. But I say: The way you measure, the same way you yourself will be measured as well! Even if you pray: “Grant me Your Kingdom! Give Me the bread of life! etc.” – Still I will heed you the way you, as a rich man, heeded the cheeky 1000 guilder beggar! For I do believe My kingdom and bread should surely be worth more than even thousands of guilders?!
13. Thus, as long as one yet dwells upon this Earth, he may help himself with his wealth, should he use it according to My will. Once he is on the other side, in the beyond, it will not be of any use to him anymore, even if millions were donated in his name. For every single man will find his very own judgement, according to his own works, and not according to the works of others!
14. Yet it is not I who require your sacrifices, for you yourselves need them! Therefore, sacrifice, as long as you are still able to! For atop the grave there are no sacrificial altars anymore!
15. The poor are the sacrificial altars! Thereupon place abundant burnt offerings of your love, whereby you will prepare treasures for yourself in heaven!
16. So, ask no more how this deceased individual could be helped. For nobody can help him, except I alone, when the time for it has come. And far be it from you attempting to inspire compassion in Me, as if you were more compassionate than I am!
17. May everyone sweep before his own door and care for his own eye, then it will not be necessary for him to seek vain help from the people of the world. Instead, he will find such help from Me in abundance, for eternity! Amen. This says the eternally Truthful One. Amen, amen.

"I want Love!"
August 8, 1840
Something meant for everyone, though first for A. H.
The Lord says:
1. On days off work, when I tell you wonderful things from the poor servant's feeble mouth, inviting you to the new covenant that shall bind you in love, to found a holy kingdom on Earth, you grow sorrowful and weak in faith, thinking: Thorns do not bear grapes!
2. In the future, after such hours as you have experienced in My grace, when, out of great love alone I kindly remove the veil from your eyes, together with the multitude of sins, no one shall bear sorrow in his heart, for I give you no new commandment. Only love is what you all need!
3. Behold, that which you are being told here, like all things, come from My mouth alone. Should I tell you of unprecedented things, when I Myself sing of My greatness, remember that I am full of grace, showing you the holy paths of love; for none know what the sins are, except the one to whom the Father wishes to proclaim them.
4. Never will I judge by faith, never will I skew one's view. May all believe according to the power of the sight of their spirit. But may all understand well what they believe and how they love! Otherwise, I tell you, sooner or later they will be grieved to the depths of their heart on this Earth.
5. Nothing but love have I commanded you through the messengers of heaven, never faith. I have taught and advised them to awaken you to noble deeds. He who loves truly from the bottom of his heart, him I grant the light of faith. Now that he has turned his heart to Me, he will be perfected in My grace!
6. Since you too have turned your heart to Me and sent many a plea for light, I lovingly come to you in the dark night. What I tell you, may you consider it well, even a comforter and teacher, a great and true Master of grace. If so, what makes your heart grow dull? Do you know what? Your feeble love!
7. I want love, for it is life! I gave love on the cross. I, who was love eternally, now offer you love once again, so believe what I say gladly, be it near the spirit or far from it, for this I give you freely as a reward. Yet in love alone is heavenly bliss enthroned.
8. Behold, when I reveal the material world to you, I wish to achieve nothing else than to reveal to you the futility of the world, or rather of self-love and the love of the flesh. From this you will and must finally realize and understand how you should not be interested in the material world at all, but only in Me, My love and the grace flowing therefrom.
9. Otherwise, could you not justifiably ask: "Why then should we not love the beautiful world and all its treasures, striving to possess it wholly with all our strength, since it was created by God. What is the point of this contrary commandment?"
10. But now that I reveal to you the essence of the world and the matter thereof, know that I, out of My great love, thereby wish to confront you with a great struggle, for the sake of your complete rebirth. For once you recognize matter and understand it on a deeper and more profound level, its disdainful value will become all the more clear to you as well. You will realize that it is no good to dwell in death. Amen. I, your most loving Jesus! Amen, amen, amen.

Redemption from Matter: Of the Life of a Tree
Volume 1, Chapter 30 – August 6, 1840, in the afternoon
The Lord says:
In the Freiberg Forest near St. Leonhard, Graz. The forest houses pines, spruces and firs. – J. L. speaks, though really the Lord through him. – K. G. L., Andr. H. and Ans. H. write.
1. Here, this forest wherein you find yourselves, and into whose primeval depths you intend to advance, this is already the tenth forest to stand in this place, always occupied by the same species of trees, those living in harmony with the nature of the soil present, for another type of tree could not easily make it here.
2. For you see, every tree stands in its own spot, spreading a great number of large roots, as well as small hair roots, as they are called, into the loose soil upon which it is situated. Now, to every such tree is given a vegetative soul, or as might be easier to understand for you: Within every tree dwells a mute spirit.
3. This spirit possesses a very simple intelligence. By means of this faculty that was given to it by Me, it recognizes within the earth the nourishment it desires. According to My will, the spirit will begin to create for itself many thousands of arms at the roots, where it prefers to dwell, with which it absorbs and transports the juices beneath the loose earth, leading them through the many tubes and channels it has fashioned up to the highest point and into all the little branches of the tree.
4. However, the juices, as the spirit finds them to be suitable for its nature beneath the surface, are only separated into their various constituent parts within the branches. The coarser elements are deposited in the trunk, and even the impure bits are driven beyond the sphere of the trunk, forming the bark or, as it were, the skin or clothing of the tree.
5. The finer juices are used to form the branches. For behold, wherever a branch has grown out of the trunk of a tree, in that very spot you will see this branch penetrating nearly to the centre of the trunk, in a much finer and more compact mass. This happens because the simple intelligence of the spirit of the tree makes the fibres and tubes of the branch ten times finer than those of the main trunk. Accordingly, only the finer juices may pass through these finer organs, which are nonetheless just as much, if not more substantial.
6. If you take a look at the branches, you will see an even greater number of twigs protruding from the branches themselves. The same thing happens from the branches to the twigs as does from the trunk to the branches. And so the juices within the twigs are, once again, more than ten times finer and substantial, and as such more powerful as well than those of the trunk transferred into the branches.
7. From the twigs, in thousands of different spots, a multitude of tiny tubes are left open. Through these, once again, in tenfold delicacy, or as you would understand it more easily, in tenfold “chemical” refinement, a sap is excreted. From this sap the spirit, according to its simple intelligence, forms the leaves or needles befitting the nature of the tree, according to My order. Once such a leaf or needle has attained its proper perfection, the channels and organs of the twigs leading thereto are gradually blocked off or closed, so that, out of a thousand tubes, merely one, the center one, is left open, through which the leaf receives its nourishment.
8. In the end, however, even this final tube is closed, and now that the leaf no longer receives any nourishment, it falls from the tree, withered and dead.
9. In the diameter of a sewing needle, on the outermost offshoots of the twigs there are millions of the most delicate organs, which are endowed with an animalistic life force. When the sap arrives there, a veritable struggle or war breaks out, for the spirit, in its impurity, wishes to seize freedom from its imprisonment, seeking to leave behind the material constraints of the tree. But as the spirit attempts to do so, these organs then constrict themselves in such a way that they block its passage to the outside.
10. Thus the spirit becomes aware of his imprisonment within his own simple intelligence, and gradually abandons his fruitless attempts, instead taking refuge in modest humility, whereby his entire being begins to transform into love.
11. As this happens, the constricted organs are softened and expanded by the warmth of his love, and thus he grows ethereal and truly alive through his love.
12. Once this has happened, in his elevated intelligence he recalls the goodness of love and affectionately attaches himself to the outermost offshoots of these organs, as the fruit of the tree. Thereafter, having attached himself thus, in a size hardly even noticeable to your eyes, into his being I breathe an extraordinarily small spark, emerging from My merciful love, through the warmth of grace and the light of the sun.
13. Eagerly he seizes this little spark from the many hundreds of offshoots, carefully enclosing it within a tiny shell. Once this marriage of nature and spirit has occurred, both the blossom, as the organ of procreation, as well as the fruit corresponding to the tree, are created and brought to maturity by the ever-increasing warmth of the spark.
14. Every so often it happens that, by careless indolence of the spirit, some offshoots of such trees are overlooked, and then, after a short time, this little spark once again returns to whence it came. The vessels of the twig immediately constrict themselves and no longer provide the fruit with nourishment. Soon it falls from the tree, withered and dead.
15. In the fruit that was completed and perfected, however, this little spark of life is carefully kept within a fine shell at the center of the seed. This tiny spark of life, having emerged from My merciful love, contains an infinite number of its own kind, similar to its origin, which am I Myself. From but a single seed such as this, in a thousand years’ time, many millions if not more of the same tree may arise, and so on and so forth, forever. For I am eternal, in the smallest as in the greatest, even unto infinity.
16. Now, behold, there you have a tree, as many as you like even, in all that they are. Now I must show you both the beginning and the end of it.
17. The formation of such a tree is quite simple in and of itself. The seed falls to the earth or is placed therein purposefully. Now nestled within the earth, it calls for a spirit banished into matter, so he may enter in. This way, such a spirit receives the first vital impulse and the most simple intelligence of his being. Because the spirit is fundamentally evil, at once he will seek to seize that little spark of life breathed into the seed by the merciful love of God, yet this little spark continually escapes its pursuer. And so the spirit in the seed seeks out both spirits and other things that resemble himself, searching within the earth, growing and visibly increasing the more he absorbs, as you can see for yourselves in any tree that has grown and matured. This growth of the tree is brought about by the murderous striving of this released spirit, or even of an entire legion of such spirits, if you were so inclined.
18. The spark of life, however, flees ever higher from the influence of such malignant striving. In their fury, the many millions upon millions of these spirits, attracted by the spark of life, once again harden into deaf and dead matter, which you may well recognize as the wood and bark of the tree. Such striving, often continuing unabated for many years, will humble these spirits in the end, and thereby they attain the appropriately beneficial freedom, finally becoming one with the spark of life.
19. A spirit such as this, having affectionately united with the little spark of life at the offshoots, will, after the fruit has fully ripened, become free ethereally, guided into a more elevated and intelligent existence, in accordance with My eternal order, continuing along this ladder until he finally reaches the state of you, humanity.
20. If a sufficient quantity of nature spirits has been redeemed by such a tree, as a material institution for redemption, and if these redeemed spirits, in their etheral freedom, have come together in love from among the most diverse trees and growths, so that they represent a spirit of higher intelligence, then they are transferred to the animal kingdom, having been elevated to the second stage.
21. If all spirits of the animal kingdom unite in love to form one single spirit, then such a spirit will be able to ascend to an even higher level, a modest spirit placed within a human being, whence, once he has matured, he will step out, independent and free, to behold his eternally loving origin. A spirit such as that will never again have anything to do with matter. Yet spirits that have returned to evil within a human being, where no means of love will bear fruit, those will have to take a similarly tedious and long-winded path once again.
22. A worn out tree trunk such as this becomes dead once more, withering and rotting, though it would be better for it if it were cut down or burnt instead.
23. Now behold, this is the secret of plants, shrubs and trees, from their formation to their expiration!
24. However, you might recall I noted at the outset that this is already the tenth forest to stand here, and so I will briefly inform you of something else as well: Look, just as often has this very soil, dampening the hellfire of satanic malice, persevered beneath the floods for over a hundred years. So, if you were to dig but a few fathoms deep in some places, you would happen upon individual charred trees from prehistoric times, and in other places you would even find insects from that time, perfectly preserved in resin. You would discover these things in layers, ten, twenty, fifty, a hundred, five hundred, a thousand and even more fathoms deep.
25. Behold what I do for the sake of but a single arrogant angel! I tell you, never would there have been an Earth, a sun, or anything else material, had that one angel remained humble. For the sake of love alone, I, the Eternal Love itself, filled infinity with suns and worlds, all in an effort to save even the smallest fraction of the one who has fallen.
26. Therefore, may you too consider all that I have done, what I am doing and what I will do, eternally, for your sake. Amen. I, the Eternal Love. Amen.

Addendum to the Wellspring Gospel
August 2, 1840, in the afternoon
The Lord says:
1. There are some among you who, in regards to My revelations through nature itself, allow themselves to be captured and impeded by scruples and the sorrow arising therefrom, because of their folly, for they do not see and hear as much as My servant does.
2. For their great comfort, I ask them this: Why have they never grown sorrowful upon seeing that grapes do not grow on willow trees? And yet the willow tree is no less a work of My almighty holiness than the sweet and spiritual vine! Why then did not the apostles weep and mourn, considering I did not reveal Myself to everybody the way I did to John?
3. Therefore, be joyful, of good cheer and full of gladness in your hearts. For I, your Father, see what each and every one of you needs for the time being, and I give to each only as much as he can readily bear.
4. Behold, My servant is small and simpleminded, possessed of a gentle heart, and has been following humility and My love for several years now. Now that I have granted him a small light of My grace, do believe it to be true in all points and branches, for all this is given to him directly from Me, and this is because he wanted it that way, which is what I prefer as well!
5. For whatever anyone asks in My name will be given to him without falsehood or deceit; not overnight, of course, but little by little, according to his strength and power.
6. And so, love Me and believe without a shadow of a doubt what I reveal to you through My simpleminded servant! If but a stone has already made you hesitant, then what will you say when I reveal an entire sun to you, both physically and spiritually! And what if I were to reveal an angel?
7. So, once more, be joyful, of good cheer and full of gladness in your hearts. For I, your Father, see what is needed for the time being. Amen.

Lorber recounts what the Wellspring tells him. – Transcribed by: K. G. L.; Andr. H.; Ans. H. –
1. Before I (the Wellspring) impart to you the nature of my being, it is first of all necessary to know whence I hail and how I came to be.
2. More than 4000 fathoms deep, in an oblique direction, facing the east, there is a wide and large opening which was created by the divine fire when the mountains were first formed. There, in this opening, all the water that is taken from the moist air by the mountains is gathered. In this way, this large, wide opening is kept almost constantly full, and the weight of the mountain masses raised above this opening, as well as the densely compressed air at this depth, bear down on these waters, and so this subterranean reservoir is brought up to the light of day, and not only in this place you have just seen, but in many other locations as well, through small and larger openings, and even through hollow passages within the mountains. For you see, the reason that I am thus carried up to the surface of the Earth upon which you find yourselves, and not down into the depths, as some would think, is that the foundation of this subterranean dwelling of mine, that which you call the bedrock, is a firm and solid layer of stone that I rest within, as within a cauldron.
3. But within this cauldron are three veins, each as thick as a man’s arm, which run in a north-easterly direction more than three miles deep beneath the mountain you call “Schöckel”. Below this mountain there are a far larger cauldron and water reservoir, both of which also came into being through the formation of the mountain above, by the divine fire of power; the love of the Father!
4. Originally, the fire continued to dwell and burn incessantly within these openings for many centuries. When the water masses entered through the fissures while the fire was still undulating, I was almost evaporated and consumed as I passed through the seething chasms. My tranquil strength was stirred to action by the fire, and it needed to assist the subterranean masses in rising to the light of day. As these fissures gradually grew ever larger as more and more pieces were torn away, I, in turn, was able to enter and fall down in ever larger quantities, in order to soothe the great arrogance of the fire. This fire, although originating from the very love of the Father, was nevertheless a fire, thus containing a significant portion of the wrath of the Divinity. Thereafter, it gradually went out in the lower regions of the cauldron, only burning now and then among the higher reaches of the ejected masses, for another two centuries or so.
5. And finally, after the mountains had received their proper shape, height, width and weight, according to the will of the Creator, the Eternal Love sent a righteous little angel spirit, which proceeded to smother the fire completely.
6. May no one believe that such a spirit, able to dominate the very mountains, is but a fable! For countless, yes infinite legions of spirits are willing subjects to the loving might of the Eternal One, finding the greatest joy and bliss in carrying out what the love of the Lord gives them to do. And so, the love of the Lord gladly grants these spirits what they devotedly desire as well.
7. Behold, as you see me there before your eyes, only through tiny veins do I rise up to this place visible to you, from a depth of about a hundred fathoms. And look, if no benevolent spirit were assigned to my procession and present to cleanse the paths I traverse, then they would have long since been blocked off or otherwise ruined by my blunt clumsiness. Precisely this spirit assigned to me, guarding these small pathways of mine, has kept them in beautiful, calm and gentle order for almost a millennium, and, for the sake of the speaking example, does not allow me grow dull, so the people who like to visit me because of my purity and quiet seclusion, feasting their eyes on my cheerful briskness and clarity, will remember and well consider (should they be of a pure mind worthy of God) that purity and clear perception of their own being, as well as anyone else’s, can only be brought about by God through a calm and modest demeanour, in quiet, introspective solitude.
8. Once upon a time several pious individuals, whose mind was God and whose actions were nothing but love, lived around these parts. With pious and simple hearts they visited this place where you now stand almost daily, and once they had performed a God-pleasing contemplation, devotion and sacrifice of their daily work to the Lord, every time this same righteous spirit emerged from the spot over there to the left of the monument (which was only very recently placed there in an unworthy manner) and taught the pious crowd the love of God, wisdom, obedience and humility, and with these God’s great love, revealing to them all manner of wonderful secrets of nature.
9. These people then conversed with the spirit for hours, and he only left them once an important task called him away. You should have been there and gazed at my mirror, then you would have seen that, before God, everything gives joy and is receptive to joy. I will only tell you this much, and may it not appear ridiculous to you: I leapt and bounced like a lively dancer in my little pool, and the rocks laughed, offering their meaningful applause.
10. However, the people living today, who have grown far more material than even these weather-worn rocks surrounding me, should never be allowed to experience such a spectacle of natural spirituality. For he who has not brought the spirit to life within himself, by the influence of the spirits of heaven as well as obedience and humility before the Almighty Creator, his life is but a material one, maintained by the spirits of matter, entering his being via food and drink. Such an individual, who thereby returns to matter, may see, hear and feel nothing but matter, whereby he is and lives.
11. Only, it is quite a different case with the humble and obedient spiritual man. He does not only see matter, for within it, he beholds the primordial spiritual being related to him prevailing, alive and wise, and through humble conversation with such a spirit he comes to know of the deepest insights into the multifaceted nature of coarser matter, some of it complete, some of it destroyed, and some of it seemingly entirely dissolved. However, he will be able to converse with not only a single spirit, for there exists a myriad of spirits from every kingdom of visible nature, both living and appearing to live, as well as those seemingly devoid of any life, all of whom he may share an instructive discourse with.
12. So you see, should you gaze at my mirror, you will notice many a movement on my surface: one of an orderly, regular and circular nature, originating from within me, and another, disorderly, irregular, shapeless, caused by external circumstances, disturbing my mirror.
13. Behold, the former of these, if you dwelled in the life of the spirit, it would be to you not merely a movement brought about by coarsely material circumstances, for therein you would also discover an altogether marvellous, well-legible scripture, written by the almighty finger of God, in greatest clarity. However, since you are unable to do so, in closing I will briefly teach you something of this spiritual ABC, as well as its profound meaning.
14. This circular movement is created by a material-spiritual bubble arising from within me, through which (be not surprised about what I will announce to you) a soothed spiritual being is released from the all too severe pressure of dead matter. From this you may take the following, spiritually corresponding teaching as well: Your spirit too was first similarly released from matter, and likewise, within you, where it is still bound to matter must travel the same path, from the innermost part of your being to its very surface, and there it too shall reveal itself in an ordered, circular effect, mirroring God, all to set your entire being, which is in and of itself material, in well-ordered motion, akin to my mirror-smooth surface. Let my position be a corresponding illustration to you as well, that this godlike life of the spirit grows all the more beautiful the more you have withdrawn from the evil world raging outside.
15. These few things you have heard here are all that I can and may communicate to you at this time. However, should you perceive similarly lively movements of your spirit upon the surface of your being, as you have seen them upon my mirror-smooth surface, then return to me and learn to more profoundly recognize miracles of the Divine love and power upon my small and shallow shore! Amen.

A Word on Intercession
July 28, 1840, at noon
--. O Lord, I humbly thank You in regards to Spain! May I continue to pray for it? And was I right to have prayed for it?
The Lord says:
1. Behold, do you not say: If art struggles for bread in a lowly desire for profit, then it is of little use; and if art is not given bread, has it then found itself within its truth!?
2. But what do you believe My service to be when the servants are striving for the things of the world, for bread, gold and power of the Earth!
3. Behold, there is no country like the one you have called by name that has committed more shameful fornication, both in body and spirit, and even more so has burned and murdered My innocent little children at all times. If only you could see and count as I do, how many innocent maidens have been violated by the false hordes of the monks, buried alive and immured; how many boys have been sacrificed to sodomitical fornication; how many thousands upon thousands of unheard-of disgraces, frauds and abominations one took one's vile refuge in, spiritually, just to achieve but an ounce of temporal purpose; how My written word was publicly cursed because it refused to serve as a basis for all conceivable atrocities - only then you could see clearly what My intended ministry has striven and struggled for!
4. And as every worker is worthy of his wages, likewise have I granted these workers their long awaited and well deserved wages, as a temporal deterrent for the hierarch, reserving the eternal for the beyond!
5. That you prayed every now and then was indeed right. Only do it more persistently! For the benefit will be on your side, should you practice My great love. However, always remember that My judgments are invariably just, only affecting those who have long deserved them.
6. If Huss, according to My advice, had been wise instead of obstinate, like Nicolaus Copernicus was, namely a prudent mathematician in My creation, he would not have perished in the fire. For I say to you: You shall at all times deceive Satan with the prudence of your meekness. Amen. I, the righteous judge, amen.

Man and Woman within the Framework of the Divine Order
Volume 2, Chapter 48 – July 6, 1842, in the morning
The Lord says:
1. So, address a few points to Elise H., as she desires it within her heart, for it pleases Me should one carry continuously with him a great and living desire for Me.
2. Behold, My dear woman, a circle, a perfectly rounded line surrounding a center! Behold, the center am I, and the circle is the great power of My eternal order, consisting of Me eternally. All beings stand within this circle.
3. This circle is further divided into seven concentric circles. Upon the circle closest to Me, the center, are situated the people of the Earth, My children in truth. Upon the second circle, going further from the center, dwell the people of all celestial bodies. Upon the third circle exist the animals of the Earth. Upon the fourth circle reside the animals of the celestial bodies. The fifth circle is occupied by the plants of all heavenly bodies, without distinction. Upon the sixth circle gather all the planets, moons and comets. And upon the seventh and final circle are enthroned all the suns, no distinction made between their size and magnitude.
4. Behold, this is My order! All life and being originate from the center. It makes its way through all circles up to the outermost one. Upon each circle, however, it reforms itself into another spirit, wherefrom My seven spirits continually arise and exist. For that is also why they go by the moniker: The seven spirits of God, though in and of themselves, they are nothing but organized powers of the center, working out of Me, according to their very own manner of order.
5. Now, think of the first, innermost circle. There, the woman’s head is directed towards the center, yet the man’s head is turned towards what lies beyond the circle, in the opposite direction to the woman. So here the question arises: Why is it so? Behold, behold, the life originating from the center, as it reaches the seventh, outermost circle, the realm of the suns, it bounces back and returns to the center, once again traveling through all circles as it goes.
6. But how does such a return of all life come about? Well, you see, man, in spirit, absorbs the returning life by his constitution and position. Once charged with the very substance of life, he allows it to be poured out into his well-fertilized opposite. Here it is nourished and born once again in essence, towards greater perfection. When it is completed thus, it returns to the center as a free and self-aware life. An unfinished life, however, is driven out once more to the ardent circle of the suns, so it may strengthen itself anew through all the seven spirits out of Me!
7. When you consider this truthful position in spirit, tell Me, who stands invariably closer to Me, the man or the woman? You simply must say: The woman, for she is placed within the innermost circle. But now draw a line in spirit from the center to the outermost circle, the blazing verge of the suns, what does this line denote? Behold, this line characterizes My great patience!
8. The fact that the woman resides within the innermost circle and is therefore situated closer to Me than the man, with his head turned towards what lies beyond the circle, what must be naturally inferred from this? Behold, this line, My patience, touching the woman first, must surely be shorter than it is with the man, whom the line comes across only later on, after it has already passed the woman!
9. It is established thus in My eternal order, and so, what rule follows for the woman? See and hear, the woman must therefore be much more willing than any man would be, and I will visit upon her a judging punishment much sooner than I would upon the man!
10. As the pious and willing woman may be a root of all life, as was the case with Mary in the flesh, so may the disobedient woman be an agent of utter perdition. That is why My line of patience is significantly shorter for women than it is for men.
11. Take heed of this, My dear woman, for yourself and your daughters, so you may remain healthy in both body and spirit, forevermore. Amen.

The Lord says:
1. Tell our young friend C. with these few lines that I have had him faithfully told and now tell him Myself: Banish all that, ever since your infancy, has admonished you as if you could offend Me by any sin, even by the so-called sinful thoughts, those that regularly come about voluntarily and disappear again the same way.

Only the love for God and for one's neighbour is commanded by Me, and everything that goes against this truth is forbidden. Surely none can be displeased by this, but merely made wholly blissful.
3. I have not created man to pour out My wrath upon him, but instead to tell him: Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden, for I will give you rest!

Contemplate this diligently and let go of even the very last spark of your thoughts regarding the Roman cardinal sins, and never again shall you lapse into melancholy, for you will always be wholly cheerful. He who truly knows and loves Me simply cannot ever truly grow somber, even in the most bitter moments of earthly life; for many of the most evident proofs must have already convinced him that I have never left anyone dissatisfied or devoid of blessings who has continuously and vigorously turned to Me in his love, regarding whatever is truly good and beneficial for him. And how much more you will be satisfied and blessed, for I love you in particular, and I know your heart very well, as well as what you have done for Me in My servant and other poor people, out of pure love for Me, even with your somewhat limited financial means, all of which I will compensate you for many times over - already here on this Earth, and one day over there in My kingdom, and in My house, indescribably.

But you will find all your occasional doubts resolved in 'John' anyway; just read it diligently, for therein I communicate to you, My youngest and therefore dearest children, everything that I have not yet communicated to even the archangels, except to Raphael, who had already taken on the flesh later on.

The Lord says:
1. If you wish to know what music is, then remember well what I tell you, for many things will become clear to you, that music is nothing but the activity of pure love within itself, without the addition of wisdom, as it is in the blindness of love.
2. Behold, you have no greater illustration of the pure love within Me (which should be called blind love) than music, a confluence of the seven spirits of the Divinity, uniting in the mutual encounter of their continuously calm undulation.
3. And this encounter begets the tone sevenfold, according to the nature of the spirit that meets itself, and the tone continues to grow from the keynote further and further through all seven spirits, and so each spirit possesses its own tone, according to the order of the to you familiar scale.
4. However, since each of the seven spirits pervades all the others, all seven of them are present within each of them individually, and all spill into each other harmoniously and melodiously, resulting in the great bliss of the Divinity in its love.
5. And so the tone is a vibration, and this vibration trembles through the spirits, and the spirits recognize one another, and the recognition is made known according to the relationship of the vibrations, and the vibrations are perceived collectively in love, and this fellowship then becomes the proper harmony. And when in this greatest and purest of harmonies the love begins to tremble blissfully, this tremor streams back into the Divinity, wherein a crowd has gathered, and within this crowd the spirits warm up and finally ignite within the love itself, and this ignition is the light, and within this light the innumerable forms are perceived, arising from the vibrations.
6. Now you know what tone and music are, how they come to be and what their purpose is. Thus it is given to you as a secret sign of great and powerful content, to be thoroughly solved solely within the purest love for Me. And so, you shall learn to contemplate, utilize and enjoy as you offer your most elevated praise and deepest gratitude to Me, to which shall cling no impure thing anymore.
7. But what use have you made of this gift from the loftiest of heavens?! Oh of the greatest shame. I have shown you through men what is pure in oratorios and symphonies, yet you gild over heaps of rubbish with it, and then trample it underfoot. Therefore, consider what music is and what its purpose is, and no longer desecrate the bliss within Me, I, the purest love in God Jehovah. Amen, Amen, Amen.

1. You wish to know the meaning of this threefold sign that was first seen in the form of a sword, then of an angle and finally of a circle, in the shape of which it ultimately vanished. Behold, this sign in the sky is an expressive one indeed. And yet, so far, none inhabiting the land wherein it appeared understand it. However, they all will come to know it throughout three eras soon to follow.
2. The sword you will assume to signify war, won't you? Yes, war, but what kind of war?! The angle you will assume to portend a political, learned and well-measured opposition? Yes, such a one, but what kind opposition?! And the circle you will assume to mean a segregation, an enclosure on all sides? Yes, a segregation and enclosure on all sides, but what kind of segregation?
3. I tell you: Everything will be topsy-turvy: War with quills, war with empty pockets, war with thieves and robbers, of whom there already are about 25000 or so in B. (Berlin?) alone, who live on nothing but swearing, stealing, cheating, burglary and robbery. That is a blessing of communism! And thereafter: War with the sword, with misery, with fornication, with the devil, with oneself, with morality, with humanity, with religion, with worldly wisdom, and even war with death itself!
4. And once this truly multifaceted war will have been fought out, the protractor will be taken up to measure and assess everything critically and mathematically, what every man may possess, eat and know, what he may be allowed to speak and write. The Lord says:
1. You wish to know the meaning of this threefold sign that was first seen in the form of a sword, then of an angle and finally of a circle, in the shape of which it ultimately vanished. Behold, this sign in the sky is an expressive one indeed. And yet, so far, none inhabiting the land wherein it appeared understand it. However, they all will come to know it throughout three eras soon to follow.
2. The sword you will assume to signify war, won't you? Yes, war, but what kind of war?! The angle you will assume to portend a political, learned and well-measured opposition? Yes, such a one, but what kind opposition?! And the circle you will assume to mean a segregation, an enclosure on all sides? Yes, a segregation and enclosure on all sides, but what kind of segregation?
3. I tell you: Everything will be topsy-turvy: War with quills, war with empty pockets, war with thieves and robbers, of whom there already are about 25000 or so in B. (Berlin?) alone, who live on nothing but swearing, stealing, cheating, burglary and robbery. That is a blessing of communism! And thereafter: War with the sword, with misery, with fornication, with the devil, with oneself, with morality, with humanity, with religion, with worldly wisdom, and even war with death itself!

And once this truly multifaceted war will have been fought out, the protractor will be taken up to measure and assess everything critically and mathematically, what every man may possess, eat and know, what he may be allowed to speak and write. A Word to a complacent and very weak One
November 4, 1840
The Lord says:
1. Here we have a thoroughly supple man, one who prefers the great over the small, and more so for the sake of comfort rather than utility. He pays many a visit to those of higher status than him, for the sake of his honor, just to be able to tell others that he was with Mr. or lord such and such and that the person in question had formally reproached him for not having visited sooner. The supple man does this more for the sake of petty prestige than true, inner kindness, and, in addition, he also deals heavily with the female world, courting the charming flesh of the beautiful children of Eve wherever he goes. He thinks highly of old friendships, if they entail the presence of pleasant men, and he does not despise the poor ones either, though only for the sake of his good name. However, new, respectable acquaintances, particularly those of the opposite sex, are to him always preferable over old male ones of the same rank.
2. He is a friend of scholars, and very much holds renowned artists in high regard, but, yet again, more so for the sake of his own honor rather than the honor of the scholars and artists in question, just for him to be considered an insightful individual by those of greater understanding!
3. And so this poor man frequently runs his feet sore out of sheer self-satisfaction, just to do others some petty favor, something no one has ever cared too much for. Yet, even with all his personal affability, he is always more a friend to himself rather than to those who are befriended by him.
4. Despite all these common human shortcomings, however, this man nevertheless possesses a rather good and even half-willing heart, a fairly pure appreciation for My descending grace, and even a hidden longing for My kingdom. He has begun to increasingly respect the goodness and truth of My kingdom, for his own sake, appreciating it within his heart, a development that has enabled Me to earnestly contemplate him in My love and, should he wish for it, to guide him out of this labyrinth he finds himself in. And so, to this man I say:
5. Cease your worthless, exuberantly diverse visits as much as possible, and instead begin to visit Me, your Father! This will be of much more use to you, temporally and eternally, than all these thousands upon thousands of courtesy visits you have already paid, all in vain.
6. His visits had never entailed any benefits for himself, the visitor grown pesky to many, or for the often utterly worthless receivers of his visits. All any of this achieved was him being praised in their presence, yet frequently laughed and grimaced at behind his back. Of course, he did not see any of this, but I see and hear everything!
7. However, for him to realize that he is incredibly stupid still, the judgement of those belonging to the better ones shall be made known to him as well, a reward for his many years of effort. What do they say? Nothing except that he is fine, but a fool nonetheless, wholly ignorant and stupid, one who may be likened to a well-known and indulgent pack animal, always willingly submitting itself to all manner of abuse for nothing but the worst food.
8. This is the reward for this industrious man’s efforts, racing from house to house just to be struck in his back with a myriad of spiritual and material blows! Oh of the weak!
9. I shall not touch on all the inconveniences this foolishness has brought upon him… What has been said shall merely reveal to him how he could have avoided such severe hardship, if only he had at least heeded the good advice of his few true friends, those who are My friends as well. If only he had sat down at Jacob’s well to drink from the water of life therein, and paid Me, his eternal and holy Father, a befitting visit, in peaceful serenity.
10. But that would make him melancholic! Well understood! But how come he does not grow melancholic while he races breathlessly from one female to another, scattering his natural love in the process and perhaps even finally suffocating in the deathly mire of such madness?
11. He shall answer this question to Me: How is it you have not married any fair maiden as of yet? Considering you have courted thousands already, having lied about marriage to several of them on many an occasion, and this way, even during your earlier years, you have seduced quite a few underage girls! What excuse could you possibly give Me, that it may cleanse you in My eyes, and that My holiness may not condemn you!?
12. I tell you, you better not answer! For each and every one of your answers would condemn you! And if you were to tell Me: “I have not yet found the right one, her without fault!” There I say: O false judge! Why spy so carefully for the splinters in the eyes of the girls, all the while refusing to grow aware of the veritable log, yes, even multiple of them, in your own eyes!? Because you fear being deceived by them. Why did you not fear that they would be deceived by you instead, made unhappy by you? Therefore, depart from Me, you egotistical narcissist! For all the girls have emerged from My love just as good as you! So why then were they not right for you? I say, because even in their weakness, they were all better than you!
13. And so, do not answer, and instead keep silent, in penitent humility, lest your answer condemns you. And should you wish to say: “My income was too meager for me to be able to have a wife and sustain her!” I would answer you thus: Hear! Since you assessed your income and found it to be lacking, why then did you not assess your lack of abilities and your oversized standards as well, even the excess of your sensual desires, considering you longingly gazed at the luxuriant happiness of the great and rich ones of the world. You yearned to be like those who possessed what you desired, but since it did not work out that way, you preferred to not have a wife, and in its stead unabated fornication!?
14. O, behold, there still is an abundance of poor and good girls, of whom you know several quite well, so why not wed any of them? You would say: “Because neither she nor I possess the means to make it possible!” But supposing you were rich! Yes, then you would look down on even a princess as pityingly and sensually as you do now on a lowly maid, she who is nonetheless My daughter as well.
15. Now, for you to realize that this is indeed the case, I will draw your attention to the secret fantasies of your thoughts, within which you would enter a world of the most brilliant circumstances of earthly life, by way of all kinds of grandiose and romantic reveries; and once you had reached a summit, you would snatch the most beautiful and charming girls, like a sultan! Yes, you frequently obscured your imagined greatness and elevation and, as you tend to put it, while “incognito” crept up to some maiden, who once called it off with you, and asked for her hand in marriage. But since, in your dream, she refused you her hand once again, you revealed to this brittle one your fantastic, sultanic and imperial dignity, spurning the beautiful one now humiliated by such a revelation. She takes stock of herself, and you delighted in seeing her weep and wring her hands towards you, now a great emperor.
16. O behold, such thoughts are a faithful mirror, revealing to man precisely the direction of his desires and the tendency of his love, being based on nothing but imperiousness, the root cause for all damnation! And so, do not answer, lest you corner and condemn yourself with your foolish excuse!
17. Or would you like to say: “I cannot marry a commoner, for I am an educated man, a royal and imperial civil servant with a myriad of pleasant acquaintances! What would they say to all this?” But I say: There is no woman in the entire city so ordinary that she would be too plain for you, although you would wish to leave out of anger if someone other than Myself were to admit this truth to you. For behold, a common whore regularly only resorts to being such out of a twofold need, namely, a spiritual need and the need of the body, the demands of the stomach as well as the satisfaction of the natural, carnal instinct, whose premature development and unscrupulous promotion has only lead the poor, abandoned and now despised whore to courtiers such as yourself.
In her weakness she quickly came to believe the sugary words flowing from the lips of a sweet courtier like you, a hyena who unscrupulously poured one satanic kindness after the other into the receptive breast of a luscious twelve-year-old girl, like poisonous daggers, gazing at the spiritually bleeding girl with eager, lustful eyes, lying in wait like a tiger for the next best opportunity to inflict upon the miserable, weak and exasperated one the first sting of death, to then be able to elevate himself and say: “Well, she sure will make a fine whore, considering she already lets everything happen to her!”
18. Behold, you have spoiled her nature with such iniquity, you hyena, you tiger! How dare you still speak thus in My presence: “I cannot abide such feminine commonness!”?
19. And so you better do not answer, lest your excuse become a millstone, to be placed upon your neck and with which you would be sunk to the bottom of the sea!
20. But should you wish to say: “I am not satisfied with a poor woman!” I say: You are not even worthy of a poor woman. For the poor are My daughters. Woe to those who deceive and belittle them! The hearts of those shall grow as dull as a stone, so they may never be moved again by the gentle gaze of such a poor woman. Such wicked men shall remain wife- and childless until the end of their days, their vile names buried with them!
21. Yet he who weds a poor woman out of love, has Me as his Father-in-law, and he will enjoy My blessing! It is better anyway for the poor to marry than for the rich to do so. For the poor, in their time of need, remember Me, their Father, and always seek help from Me when they suffer hardship, whereas most rich individuals hardly know Me by name and, should they suffer hardship, will despair and not seldom resort to suicide. Behold, therefore, answer not, lest you be condemned for your foolish excuse!
22. And should you wish to say: “Unpleasant experiences have deterred me. What I have seen elsewhere has spoiled my appetite for marriage!” But I say: Cursed be he who excuses himself thus! For he openly reveals himself to be an egotistical despiser of the weak female sex. His conscience cries out to him: Because you know very well how little you are worth, and how unfaithful you have always been in all spheres of your life, you would rather have your freedom than a poor but blessed marriage, the only thing that could bring about spiritual order within you!
23. For if you were to think as a true Christian man should within his heart, you would say: “O Lord! I am a great debtor to You! Have pity on me, a man who exceedingly loves himself, wicked beyond measure! For in my ignorance I have gravely sinned against You, against all Your weak children. I myself have now grown weaker than all those whom I formerly thought to be weak, a consequence of my boundless, wayward folly!
24. That is why I beg You most earnestly to once again graciously gaze upon me in Your infinite love, to bestow upon me an honest mind, so I may come to understand the true human value of Your maidens, that I not remain blind, as I was until now, seeking value only in wealth, youthful beauty, elusive faithfulness and utter dependece, just like the wicked world. Truly, in accordance with my great self-love, I was a jealous and foolish donkey indeed!
25. O Lord, now that I understand my great error, be merciful and gracious to me, a poor sinner, and allow me to rediscover what I have despised in my wicked, perverse heart for so long. I have never been one to be drawn by the spirit, but always by the flesh, and so I know that, up until now, I have always merely been of the flesh, and not of the spirit. Therefore, O Lord, allow me to find a righteous flesh that is pleasing to You, that I may be purified in it, and that I may one day arise therefrom in the spirit, according to Your holy will! Amen.”
26. Behold, this excuse, truly an apology, is better than the rest, for in it alone prevails life instead of death!
27. However, with all this I do not mean or wish to impose upon you a duty to marry, should you have better reasons to remain single, namely out of pure love for Me, that is, of course, if you are capable thereof, withdrawing from the world you so frequently insist on visiting. Nevertheless, all this shall serve to earnestly advise you to repent, so you might finally realize how often you were wrong, how diligently you endeavoured to grossly defer all your guilt to others. Think carefully on this, whether or not this would have ever been approved by Me in all eternity?
28. Thus I have shown you what is necessary through My poor servant, who cannot know of himself what is right and what is wrong, since he himself is neither right nor wrong, and who knows what he knows only through Me, by a great, undeserved and special grace, not for his own sake, but for the sake of others. It is thus so that the others may be judged in their hearts through him and, in the end, he through them, and so that you too may be judged in your flesh, to thereby escape the eternal judgment of the spirit.
29. He who wishes to be accepted into My new kingdom must first be judged, that he may cleanse himself wholly of the old mire of his accustomed foolishness! But, however, you are still utterly foolish and confused. That is also why there was so much to judge in your case, and there will still be much more to judge before your name is fully recorded in the great book of life. Therefore, take heed of this word addressed to you! It is a new word of life, brimming with light, truth and love!
30. So, should it be your wish to live, properly wed some girl, and I will bless you with My peace. This way you will make one small sacrifice within yourself for the many sacrifices of female fidelity! Have no fear of being deceived; rather fear that you do not deceive anyone with yourself! Keep not your sights on your own advantage as much as the advantage of her you wish to have entrusted to you! That is when you will do well, for a short time in this life, and then for eternity in the beyond.
31. Do you think you will live for another fifty years? Or should you not rather think that every second of your earthly life is in My hands, that I may either lengthen or shorten anyone’s life according to one’s obedient behaviour? For I alone know when the fruit is ripe, either one way or the other!
32. So, consider, which is better: To be the way you are now, or to turn to Me and renounce everything, out of a pure love for Me? Behold, you may do so! But then, remember that a lax service will not do at all, if you were to believe that you would keep your freedom by doing so.
33. For behold, even in your supposed freedom, you are nothing but a slave to your flesh, your desires and your unfettered worldly lust among men, with whom you enjoy discussing mad ideas, laughing at your own follies thereafter.
34. No, your flesh, your desires, all of it must be made subservient to you, bidding a definitive farewell to all your mad habits and turning to Me at once in everything! Listen! I do say at once! For from now on every hesitation would be counted against you.
35. Now, in your weakness, decide for yourself which of these options would be easier and more beneficial. I shall give you no further advice as to what you should do. I will merely tell you this: The reward you receive will equal the obedience you display.
36. So do what you want! I do not care one way or the other. But I do advise you not to remain as you are now!
37. Behold, you too have been weary all day long. So, may you too now enter My vineyard and work therein for the last hour of the day! I will grant you what is appropriate one day. Amen. This say I, the eternal love and truth Myself! Amen.
Postscript
38. This postscript, like all the others, must be added to the “collection of adverbs”, to be read aloud to the unnamed one in a specially appointed meeting, of which he should not be ashamed, but rather joyful, should he wish to become a seventh disciple. He will know when I pronounce his name.
39. However, should he, as he is in the habit of doing, seek to justify himself therefore, let him know how far he still is from My kingdom, and how unfit he still is to be a disciple!
40. For to whom I say many things, I will give many things as well, and should he do My will, I have already given him many things by telling him many things. For if the chief architect lays a broad and wide foundation, he will certainly not want to erect upon it a snail’s shell, but rather a building befitting the foundation. Now, if even an earthly architect behaves as such, then how much more will I do, for I am the mightiest master builder, the all-understanding architect of infinity!
41. So, may the unnamed one not feel ashamed, and let him instead rejoice greatly! For I do not bestow such gifts in vain! All who wish to be eternally glorified by Me must first be revealed to the world, glorifying My name in their humility.
42. I ask very little of you, but the reward therefore will be infinite! So, rejoice, all of you, that I ask such of you, for My kingdom shall have no end. Amen. This say I, Father and Lord of you all! Amen.
Thanksgiving Prayer of the servant
43. And I, a sinful, worthless, truly the worst of servants, dare to add in my great dishonesty:
44. Glory, praise and thanks be to You, o most holy, greatest Father, offered to You by our weak, impure hearts! O purify us all with the holy power of Your infinite love and mercy! That we may one day, o You greatest, most holy Father, be worthy and holy enough ourselves to thank and praise You, moreso than has hitherto been possible throughout the great night of our sins!
45. O most holy, greatest Father, let us give thanks as well for the glorious gift of this new brother given to us in Your most holy name! O, may Your most holy name be praised therefore! Glory to You, Father, to the Son and to the Holy Spirit within and out of You, for ever and ever! Amen.

H., who has been charged with exercising a worldly office, a right for the temporal good of the great ones of the world, by the oppression of the small and the weak, those without the power and strength of the world, who must nourish the great ones in exchange for nothing but the maintenance of a right which lays all burdens upon their weak necks.
2. My love within you, and the wisdom arising therefrom, which both are the eternal order whence everything that exists was created, from the greatest to the smallest, each in endless numbers. Apart from this love of Mine, there is no law, nowhere else except within this love that gladly offers everything it has, appropriating nothing to possess something for itself, but only to be able to give all the more; this love which destroys nothing, but only seeks to preserve everything, so that nothing may perish; this love which is always ready to bear everything for others, so that all may be well in the great relief of their burden; this love which, on top of everything else, is patient, gentle, and full of humility, wholly devoted to every demand of the wisdom belonging to her alone, even possessed of the strength to endure all conceivable hardships with unclouded composure, all for the good of others. Contemplate on whether there is anything else besides this love of Mine that could, or should, be called "law".
3. Should you also consider that this love out of Me is always accompanied by the true and free wisdom, which is the sole, just legislator, arranging everything accordingly, illuminating and seeing through all there is - yes, wherever My love is the basis, there too is the true law. But where this is not the case, there is no law either, but only the exact opposite. Such a "law" is then based on self-love, and its true nature is nothing but violence and deprivation, disguised in a package of humane appearance. Even if, on the outside, it would appear to be love to the blind person, it is nonetheless nothing other than infernal self-love.
4. This self-love teaches you to arduously recognise your needs and the advantage of your actions, as well as the means of arranging your circumstances in such a way that, with exact necessity, they give your fellow man only as much room for manoeuvrability as a bird in a cage or a fish in a tank. From this point of view, of domination, or rather, of deprivation, laws are then given in abundance, according to the amount of needs arising from increasing prosperity and self-love. That these laws are strictly adhered to is ensured by imprisonment, gunpowder and death. On occasion self-love gives laws to the slaves as well, so that they do not wear each other out throughout the long night of despair. This way the so-called retinue believes it too has something to apparently gain, and thus keeps quiet, for it is still permitted to enjoy a little of what is no longer suitable for the tables of those in power.
5. Now, behold, men are thereby often compelled to forsake My love and instead seize self-love for themselves, committing wickedness in small things, as the great ones do in great things, lying, stealing, robbing and murdering, even having the brazen audacity to drag My laws down into their excrement, to give them, as they put it, a "moral coating", something I do curse, however. Woe to them one day! The blind are blinded thus, but I see through their artifice, and I make it known to My children, those who have begun to seek Me.
6. And so I advise you to diligently seek My love, within which dwells all wisdom, whence alone you may become a wholly righteous man in the wise conduct of the significant office entrusted to you, for the true benefit of your many brothers and sisters!
7. And believe Me firmly: Everything the wisdom will teach you to do out of My love, you will carry out unhindered, and you will not be harmed in the slightest. For where wisdom commands, there it also abundantly receives from Me the most suitable means for the completion of any given task.
8. This say I, the eternal love, to you alone through My weak servant, a willing scribe with little fear of men, ever since he came to know Me better... Amen.

Jesus explains… Dreams, Auctions and the true living Church
Vol. 2, Chap. 16 – March 5, 1842, 3-6 o’clock in the afternoon
The Lord says:
1. Dreams, for the most part, are nothing but empty shadows, of no more value or substance than the spring snow, which, millions of years ago, fertilized the barren regions of the Earth devoid of life. Nevertheless, there is an enormous difference between the dreams of those who have no greater value than their dreams themselves, and the dreams of those who dwell in My Grace, Love, Mercy and Word, acting accordingly out of love for Me, as much as they are able.
2. Behold, My dear children, for you to fully comprehend this difference within yourselves, I shall illuminate the matter a little more for you. And so then, listen:
3. When a man of this world dreams something, such a dream is nothing more than a nebulous and abstruse perception of the most trivial impressions of the world, the things the spirit of the outward-looking man absorbs throughout the day and, thus, reviews the same trivial matters as he sleeps. However, if the things of this world possess no value in and of themselves even in this reality, then of how much less value will they be if they appear as empty dreams of threefold magnitude in an equally empty soul!
4. However, it becomes an entirely different matter with the dreams of someone keenly occupied with My Word and My love, someone who has already, for the most part, turned inwards. His dreams are no longer mere impressions then, but perceptions of the inner spiritual state, far removed from all the natural and worldly delusions of the senses, as well as all the fantastical deceptions of the soul based thereupon.
5. Among such inner perceptions may justifiably be counted the present “dream triad”, and for an incredibly important reason, because every word of the Holy Scripture, especially from the prophetic section, is, in and of itself, such a “triad”.
6. There is the first part, the literal sense, like an auction, whereby the aged, but highly valued, fine and noble goods are given away to the highest bidder.
7. But whoever has acquired these goods in exchange for his heart, which alone contains the sole means of payment for this commodity, namely the pure love for Me, has created a new ‘state’ within himself, which is the inner order of spiritual life, just as the external, worldly governmental state is a legal union of the peoples under a leading sovereign.
8. But who is the leading sovereign of this inner state? This should not be too difficult for you to answer, for I Myself am this leading sovereign. However, if I am the leading sovereign of this inner state by way of My love, grace and mercy, then there is an infallible spiritual connection between Me and every such “bidder” making the highest bid for My aged goods. But what is this connection, this unbreakable bond of eternal life? Behold, it is the “church”, indeed, the true, living church of man, wherein alone the true meaning of the Word is revealed and wholly illuminated.
9. And so, he who wishes to attain an inner understanding of My Word, of the scriptures of the old and new covenants, including all the later revelations up to this very hour, must, as it was revealed to someone in spirit through this “triad”, infallibly seek to become the highest bidder of this “greatest of auctions”, otherwise it will forever be impossible for him to investigate the true, inner meaning of the scriptures.
10. For only the truly proper understanding of the inner, spiritual sense is a living understanding. But how can anyone achieve this, if he has not first entered the inner state of the spirit as a faithful citizen, by way of the true “auction” or the “highest bidding”, this state, wherein I find Myself as the sole leading sovereign, ruling through love, guiding through grace, seeking through mercy and calling through the living humility of the heart?
11. And so behold, this “auction” is the first and most essential condition for receiving eternal life from Me, which, in the truest sense, is the living church within man. For the true church is merely a living unity with Me. However, anyone who has become one with Me will certainly and infallibly possess within himself the eternal life, as well as everything that is eternal because of it, in the most perfect sense. Thus I am the revelation of the meaning of the scriptures in the third, innermost heaven, wherein everything unites in the one pure love for Me.
12. Now behold what this “triad” conveys! But above all else, remember well everything concerning the “auction”! For without it, no one will enter the aforementioned “state”, much less the living “church”!
13. For truly, truly, I tell you: He who refuses to offer all his worldly treasures in exchange for My “aged goods” shall never receive them, neither here nor in the beyond! Therefore, the rich will have great difficulty acquiring these goods, whereas the poor will receive them easily, because for them they will be offered free of charge. The poor have long been chosen by Me to have the gospel preached to them, while at the same time the rich young man was told the following: “Sell all your goods, and distribute the money thereof among the poor, and then follow Me, and you will find and possess a treasure in heaven!”
14. This treasure I have revealed to you today! And so he who wishes to attain it will certainly know what he has to do! The world, with all its countless follies, brimming with Satan’s wickedness hidden within; therewith these goods will never be purchased! Amen.
15. Faithfully consider these things within your hearts, out of love for Me, if it is your wish to live! Amen.
