Stuck on Knee Pushups and Can't Do Full Pushups?
If you can do pushups on your knees but not on your toes, try this out!
Three things:
1.) Build up your numbers. Try to get to at least 2 Sets of 25 Repetitions. Slow and steady. 2 seconds down, 1 second pause, and 2 seconds up.
2.) Add a partial ROM movement like the top part of the full pushup. This will get you used to supporting your weight in this position. Go down a third of the way or halfway. Work your way down over time.
3.) ALWAYS finish up your partial ROM sets with a full ROM exercise.
ALTERNATIVELY: You can simply do Incline Pushups on a LOW platform. Start around thigh height and work your way to around shin height. Go for the 20-25 Repetition range. This will get you to full pushups as well.
This is an older video, so I hesitated before posting it. Let me know if you want me to remake it. MOST of the information will be the same. The camera quality will be a bit better and my humor will be a bit different.

Should we exercise when injured?
How should we exercise while we're injured? This is what I do.
Depending on the severity of the injury, I often rest the area for a few days. Afterwards, I'll gently stretch the area to re-introduce it into physical activity. As I start to heal more and more, I incorporate light exercise to speed recovery.
We can always exercise our uninjured parts of our body in the meantime! Even if you're not strong enough for one arm pushups, one arm pullups, or one leg squats, you can do these unilateral exercises with assistance!

Strengthen Your Joints
I'm a big believer in strengthening all parts of our functional range-of-motion.
Including these "stretch variations" after your strength workouts can be an awesome addition to your long-term fitness and joint health.
These are often avoided because they underload the muscles and overload our joints. This is exactly the reason most of us SHOULD train them. We're only as strong as our weakest link
(Training progressively, meaning we don't do a harder exercise than we are able).
I want to repeat - you can do these AFTER your workout if you wish. You don't have to replace your current exercises. I say this because we're often able to put less weight on these. This can be discouraging if you watch your weighted squat for from, say, 250 to 150.
It's fine to follow your heavy squat set with assisted squats if that's what you need to do. Your body will thank you for it!

Dealing with Loneliness

I get asked a lot about how to deal with loneliness. Unfortunately, like many others, there were times in my life when I felt lonely, deserted, and isolated.
Here are my thoughts on dealing with loneliness.
I mention in the video that it's probably not necessarily our fault if we're lonely. The way our society is constructed has us further apart than we've been in the past.
The benefit of this is that there are places you can find like-minded people and form connections!
On the other hand... Sometimes it is our fault. At least to some extent.
It may sound harsh, but there's a very real possibility that we may have some character flaw that seems to drive people away from us.
It may be easier to think of this in terms of other people, and not ourselves. For example, there may have been an overly aggressive person from whom you've distanced.
If this is you, that's okay. We all have flaws. We're all on a journey to self-improvement.
Even if you've irrevocably angered EVERY person you've met (which is highly unlikely), it's still not the end of the world.
There are people you haven't met yet that will love you.
At the end of the day, we don't need an army of friends to not be lonely.
In fact, it's entirely possible to be around many people and still lonely.
There is a HUGE difference between having 1 person and having nobody.
I hope this video can help some of you find that one person.

Fix Your Slouching Posture!
If you're consistently trying to stand with straighter posture but slouch when you forget or get tired, try Wall Slides!
It's a simple way to improve shoulder mobility, strengthen our posterior chain, and stretch our anterior chain.
Note that there are many possible causes for poor posture. For example, you may have some muscular imbalances that require more condition-specific stretches. Wall slides may or may not help you with this.
However, learning to do this exercise with good form can work as a good mobility benchmark for healthy humans, so it may still be worth your time to learn!

What's stopping you from pursuing what you want?
"What's stopping you from pursuing what YOU want in life?"
I recently asked our community this.
Some of the most common answers were "fear of judgment" or "fear of failure."
Good news—you don't have to even tell anyone your goals. You don't have to talk about your dreams.
You'll have plenty of time to do that AFTER you're on the journey or after you succeed.
Just start, and expect to adapt.
PS: Also, don't set random time limits either.
It's fine to give yourself a few months to "try" something, but don't tell yourself "hey I'm going to be biggest Twitch gamer by this time next year."
You don't know that. You don't have control over that. Embrace the process over the time limit.

Can't feel your chest during pushups?
Pushups are one of the best bodyweight exercises to work our chest, but some people just don't "feel it" there.
This may help!
I mention during the video that having a large chest might be more of an aesthetic goal as opposed to an athletic one. ALL of our muscles are important, but things like bulging biceps and plate armor chest MAY be over-emphasized simply because they look cool. Feel free to discuss!

How do I make money without taking sponsorships?
Recently, I've been getting an influx of messages asking what I do for a living.
By recently, I actually mean "for a few months."
I know not everyone is interested in this. Some will probably unsubscribe because it's not strict fitness content.
However, I made this video to:
1.) Reassure people that I am not (currently) bankrupt or starving. My process is sustainable.
2.) Provide transparency for my business model.
Every once in a while, I see a comment (usually from a young kid) that says something like "Your routine is free? I don't trust that. I saw in a meme that nothing is free. WE are the product, guys."
You know, that's a reasonable concern. However, I'm not selling anyone's data nor am I doing anything unethical. I'm simply keeping the most important part of my brand, the knowledge, free and accessible. There's money to be made elsewhere, which I outline in this video.

Bodyweight TRICEPS Exercises
Here are some calisthenics triceps exercises you can do as a home workout!
I talk about focusing on the pushup, dip, and handstand pushup (you may notice these cover pressing out, down, and up).
Beyond this, using a narrow hand positioning on any of these exercises tend to amplify the work given to our triceps.
There are other videos that show you how to target every head of the triceps. However, given that Shorts are only 60 seconds or less, I thought it was more important to cover these.
