It is mostly due to mortgage backed securities which settle weeks or even months after their purchase date. Number one, prices are never returning to where they were before 2020. Number two, the reverse repo facility will help refill the government's treasury general account. And number three, the big one here, Jerome Powell, was explicitly asked about the deteriorating financial position of the United States with their high deficits and high debt. And he was asked if the Fed would finance government debt. And Powell explicitly, at least, said very clearly no, under no circumstance. This is huge if true. The Supreme Court is slowly and quietly reshaping America. The fact is that most people are unaware this is happening, but those who are aware seem to be extremely upset about it. The SEC charged Coinbase with operating its crypto asset trading platform as an unregistered National Securities Exchange. In response, Coinbase tweeted a message from the SEC, emphasizing that one cannot disregard the rules simply because they disagree with them or prefer different ones. The SEC highlighted the significant consequences for the investing public, extending beyond Coinbase. Shortly thereafter, the SEC filed court documents seeking a restraining order to freeze all U.S. assets of Binance. This move indicates the beginning of a crackdown on the cryptocurrency industry. The question arises: why now, and what does the future hold? This phrase was first coined by President Eisenhower in his farewell address to the United States in 1961. He gave a grave warning about a system developed in the United States where you have military contractors, companies that get rich off of war. They take that money and get politicians in their pockets through lobbyists and giving politicians jobs. Once they are no longer in office, they can pass laws instigating more wars. Those wars, in turn, caused the U.S. government to spend even more money on fighting those wars. And where does that money go? Back into the pockets of the military contractors. And while Eisenhower first warned America about this in the sixties, it has only worsened.
