Fear: Inconsistent with the Christian Life
Climate change. The World Economic Forum's push to make sure "have nothing and are happy about it." Earthquakes. Wars and Rumors of Wars. How is it possible for a Christian to live in times such as these and experience peace? Because the Bible declares that while the earth remains, God is in control. How much does a scientist know compared with God? Nothing! Put your trust in God — Let God be God, and live in peace, knowing that He is in complete control.

MailBox Monday: Ordained Gay Pastors? Pledge of Allegiance? and More!
What's up with the Methodist Church ordaining gay pastors? Can a Christian recite the Pledge of Allegiance—and what does the Bible say about church membership? I'll be addressing these questions and commenting on an alarming and un-American action being taken by some local Republican party leaders to silence voices during a primary in order to push one candidate to the front. Will it work? I think not.
During happy hour, I'm answering your VIP emails, giving updates (and pictures!) on our move to a new building and offering some encouragement regarding how to talk to friends about the issue of transgenderism.

Men Can't Have Babies. Full Stop.

Shiny, Not-So-Happy People: A Legacy of Legalism
By now, many of you have seen the documentary on the Duggar family, "Shiny Happy People." As a woman who grew up under spiritual abuse, I am glad to see any form of abuse unearthed and exposed. Rules without relationship injure people, and the legalistic way in which Gothard and others like him control people using the Bible as their excuse to do so is wrong. However, I believe this was the wrong way to expose it. This documentary was salivating at the chance to give Christians stones to throw at people — even those who did not deserve it—and that's exactly what they got. Today I'll be sharing my thoughts and directing us back to the gospel that changes us.

The Death of Decency in the White House
The headlines can be overwhelming—and we've all seen them. On Independence Day, a Federal judge issued a stinging rebuke of Joe Biden's handling of the pandemic—because he silenced dissent and free speech, violating the first amendment. Then on Wednesday, we learned that cocaine has been found in the West Wing of the White House. When will character matter again for our leaders?

Assault on a Woman’s Worth with June Hunt—Part Two
Doesn't the Bible direct women to submit to their husbands? Today, June Hunt, founder of Hope for the Heart, joins me to talk about why women are never called to submit to abuse. These are tough conversations, and important ones, too. Listen in, because we need to learn to "rightly divide" the Word! During Happy Hour I am sharing a little of my own experience with abuse and domestic violence.

Sin City: Life in a Post-Christian America
This year’s “all ages” Seattle Pride Parade included something you don’t often see in public: adult men on bicycles wearing helmets but no pants—in front of children. This was shocking in and of itself but the more shocking thing is that no one complained. This is a battle for the hearts and minds of a new generation—and whether or not we win it will depend on how committed God's people are to being salt and light.

Becoming a Kitchen Table Activist with Karen England
“Satan’s classroom.” That’s how my guest, Karen England, describes the public school system that millions of kids are sitting in six hours a day, five days a week. The Largest Online Back to School Prayer Gathering with Donna Martin
Prayer is not our last resort, it is a powerful offensive strategy. We do not have to wait until tragedy strikes before we send our “thoughts and prayers.” Let’s raise a prayer shield in this Nation to COVER our children before they head back to school. It won’t be political parties, politicians, or pretty social media posts that shift the spiritual atmosphere of the nation; it will be praying mamas from every corner, of each state, praying for the Lord to rend the heavens and come down on behalf of our children! Today, Donna Martin, founder of GirlTruth.org, joins me to talk about the fight for our children and why prayer must be our first line of defense.

Culture of Cowards: Why Courage is Essential to Liberty
“In the absence of courage, truth is an orphan.” Rob McCoy
This quote has never been more true than it is today, as trans activists attempt to hijack our schools, our free speech and our language itself. This ideology of course, is a lie, and last week we saw just what happens to people who have an opinion that reflects basic biology and the Bible… and it highlights again the need for courage.

When Friendship Ends
God has created us for relationship with other people, and he modeled perfect love for us, also. Fortunately, our relationship with God is 100% secure. He never changes; His love is unconditional and constant. There’s nothing we can do that will make Him love us any more or any less. He doesn’t give up on us.
People, however, aren’t like that. People change. As a result, sometimes friendships can hurt. Sometimes, they end. Today I’ll be touching on this topic in answer to a listener email.
