Mois Navon teaches Ethics in Artificial Intelligence at Ben Gurion University.
He wrote his doctoral dissertation at Bar Ilan University entitled, “The Moral Status of AI,” which seeks to understand how humans should interact, morally, with AI humanoids - be they mind-less or mind-ful.
His research combines his rabbinic background in moral philosophy as well as his technical experience of 35 years as a computer design engineer.
Mois received his Master’s degree in Jewish Philosophy from Bar Ilan University and his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles.
