Concord is officially dead. In less than two weeks, eight years of development was swept away due to abysmal player turnout and even worse design. Sony made the sensible decision to terminate support for this disaster, but no one predicted how swiftly they would make the call. September 6th will be the final day you can play Concord. Two weeks from release, all support will be withdrawn and effective immediately, the unprecedented step of refunding all purchases is taking place. Star Wars Outlaws has predictably become yet another Ubisoft and Star Wars failure in 2024. Debuting on both major consoles far down on the list of played games over it's release weekend, word of mouth and reviews have not been kind to the latest journey as a girl boss from a galaxy far, far away in a time long, long ago. Another flop is something Lucasfilm can stomach, but Ubisoft cannot afford to string many more together. Rings of Power Season 2 hasn't improved on Season 1 one bit. It could be argued that the series has managed to get worse, but there are still too many episodes to be released to come to a definitive conclusion on how awful the show will be. One thing is for sure, no one is associating this travesty with J.R.R. Tolkien or Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, this is but a cheap imitation. Firewalk Studios first and likely only game has been the buzz of the industry all summer for all the wrong reasons and now that payment is due, the receipts are coming in and it looks bad.
