Marvel's first outing of 2025 is going to be much the same from the point they left off in 2023. Captain America: Brave New World has been a production nightmare for the MCU and now that audiences have gotten a taste, they know it's not something that is going to be worth the wait. Overt political messaging and an unnecessary romance plot line have left audiences shocked as to how bad things have gotten for the once powerful studio. Captain America 4 might get pushed back if they are taking the response seriously and that would be the deathblow for a project that has been ripe with issues from the beginning. The most racist movie of 2024 just dropped to empty theatres across the country. The American Society of Magical Negroes failed to muster any support or derision it so desperately wanted.
