Some doubted that my recent video about a 1911 secret was true! I have tested the theory and it works. The secret is a 1911 function that most 1911 owners are not aware of. If the safety is on and you press the trigger, you can fire the 1911 by pressing the safety off!

How to fix the SIG Sauer P365 or P365XL FCU Fire Control Unit assembly if it comes apart on you. The biggest issue I have found with the Canik MC9 handgun is that a lot of times the magazine will not drop free from the grip. A Sig P365 quirk I have noticed is when loading a magazine, the slide sometimes closes on its own, thus loading a round. This is a P365 XL to be precise. I have had many semiautomatic pistols and none of them did this. I would need to manually pull the slide to the rear in order to release the slide stop. Alternatively, I would need to manually release the slide stop before the slide would close.  I am not sure if this is by design or if I just have a bad gun. Other than this issue I love this gun, and it shoots fantastic!

My wife compares racking the slide of the M&P Shield EZ 9mm with a Springfield XDm and a Glock 17. The Smith & Wesson Shield EZ 9mm is much easier to rack than most standard 9mm handguns.
