In an SEC filing The Walt Disney Company reported their Star Wars IP has generated $12 Billion since acquiring the rights from George Lucas for $4.05 Billion. There has been a lot of talk about what Toho Studios was able to accomplish with Godzilla: Minus One considering they only had a budget of less than $15 million for a big scale monster movie.
