H. Upmann Vintage Cameroon & Brothers of the Leaf Bourbon | Cigar Pairing
A bevy of complex flavors stems from this blend's Peruvian, Dominican, and Nicaraguan long fillers. A top-notch African Cameroon wrapper completes this concoction, bringing forth a full-flavored array of heartiness with a semi-sweet, smooth finish. Medium.
This Brothers of the Leaf expression begins with an Indiana bourbon whiskey with a mashbill of 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley. This perfectly balanced bourbon is finished in toasted French oak casks from the famed Kelvin Cooperage and bottled at 115.4 proof.

Alec Bradley Black Market | Unboxing
Despite its 90 rating, Alec Bradley's Black Market is a sleeper in the AB portfolio. Complex with a symphony of flavors, the four-country blend produces a well-balanced combination of smooth yet zesty and rich flavors. I'd characterize as the full-bodied side of medium to full overall. Pronounced notes of cedar and spice take center stage, with hints of peat and orange stepping in to steal some scenes throughout. It's a slow-burning finger-burner that pumps out voluminous amounts of thick smoke. You'll nub it and immediately crave another. The long-filler blend includes Honduras and Panamanian tobaccos along with a robust Sumatra binder, capped off with a gorgeous, dark and toothy Nicaraguan wrapper. Tasty!

Untitled Berserker & Lagavulin 16 Year Single Malt Scotch | Cigar Pairing
The long-awaited 2nd installment of Untitled just landed. Ironically for Untitled, this blend has a name...Berserker. If you're a fan of Nicaraguan tobacco and love cigars booming with richness and complexity, you'll want to smoke this. A total roll in the catnip. Beautiful in the hand, a heavy, dense, gently box-pressed shape with slightly rounded edges. The wrapper is a gorgeous, reddish-brown Habano leaf with nice texture, an oily sheen, and smooth appearance. Cold draw is nice, with nice spice tingling on the lips. Out of the gate, it's as advertised - a spice bomb on the front of tongue with copious volumes of smoke and thick dark grey ash. Part way in it settles down slightly but remains full-bodied from foot to head, warming the gut and lighting up the palate with flavor. Very rich with an underlying nuttiness, spicy-sweet notes, and a subtle fruit-like quality. Cost is unreal here at da Page. Untitled Berserker looks and smokes every bit the part of a $10+ cigar all day and that makes it a pound for pound champ. Tremendously tasty full-bodied smokes.

Room 101 Farce Esteli & RED by Petrus
Room 101's door gets kicked in with hellacious Cigar Page pricing on Room 101 Farce. Farce is the 92-rated, Top 25 Cigar of the Year (2019), and the Farce Esteli blend is all that and a bag o' chips. A medium to full-bodied beefcake, these Nicaraguan gems bring the flavor thunder. Have a gander: these beauties are a lovely medium brown in color, very smooth with a nice sheen. Fire it up and it's crisp and assertive out of the gate but settles down into a clear medium-bodied smoke. Smoke coats the tongue. The ash is gorgeous like fresh packed powder on first run of the day. Farce Esteli brings notes of leather, toast, and earth, with ample spice and a bready component, it's got a creamy complex finish which will have you jonesin' for more.

Megilla & The Truth by Flying Dog Brewery | Cigar Pairing
Megilla is a full-flavored, full-bodied, boutique Nicaraguan gem. If you're a fan of uber-boutique, lower-production craft sticks, this blend is your new favorite. It brings an absolutely gorgeous, oily Habano wrapper that's practically oozing with oils. Dark brown with a dark reddish hue, it's utterly redolent. This wrapper is paired with a Nicaraguan binder and choice blend of Nicaraguan Ligero long-fillers. Loaded with spice plus notes of toast, sweetness, and a BBQ-like aroma. Mouthfeel is textured and gritty (in a good way), and the flavors and complexity builds as it burns. Savory and leathery, it's the perfect balance of spice and sweetness.
