Is Technology Harming Causing Violence in Kids?
Catholic Drive Time - 877-757-9424
Date – Friday, October 27th, 2023 – King St. Kaleb
1. **6th Century Ethiopia:** Ethiopia was ruled by King St. Kaleb or Elesbaan, who was raised in the Catholic Faith from childhood and ruled his country wisely and justly.
2. **Persecution by King Dunaan:** Across the Red Sea, Arabia was ruled by King Dunaan, who apostatized from the Catholic Faith and persecuted the Bishops, clergy, and Catholics, destroying churches and killing thousands without trial.
3. **Request for Assistance:** Emperor Justinian I of the Eastern Roman Empire called on King Elesbaan to punish Dunaan and end the persecution.
4. **Crusade Against Dunaan:** King Elesbaan gathered his army, crossed the Red Sea, defeated Dunaan, executed him, restored the Bishop to his diocese, and rebuilt the churches in Arabia.
5. **Return to Ethiopia:** After accomplishing his mission, King Elesbaan returned to Ethiopia and continued to rule wisely, instructing his son in the Catholic Faith and governance.
6. **Renunciation of Kingship:** King Elesbaan later renounced his title and became a hermit, retiring to a monastery in the mountains.
7. **Life as a Hermit:** Disguised as a hermit, he lived a life dedicated to prayer, obedience, and work in solitude.
8. **Death:** He died with a reputation of sanctity on October 27, 532, and is often depicted as a solitary hermit holding a cross with a crown at his feet.
Three vital lessons emerge:
Firstly, it's a misconception in the West that Eastern peoples aren't destined for the Catholic Church. The Church's presence in Ethiopia long predates Western discoveries and crusades. This highlights that all nations have a calling to the Catholic Church, and faithfulness hinges solely on divine grace.
Secondly, St. Elesbaan's story underscores the significance of solitude. He relinquished his throne, glory, and comforts, opting for a hermit's life in the desert, leaving a lasting mark in Church history.
Thirdly, St. Elesbaan exemplifies the rich cultural contribution of the black race. It's crucial to understand their vocation beyond mere material pursuits, appreciating figures like the black Magi King Balthazar, symbolizing spiritual elevation. Despite being a royal warrior, St. Elesbaan's recognition remains underrated, possibly due to biases favoring sentimental piety over his royal and militant legacy. Efforts should challenge this skewed perspective.
King St. Kaleb, pray for us!

Is BMI Racist? - SCOTUS Shoots Down Affirmative Action Case
Catholic Drive Time - 877-757-9424
Date – Monday, July 3rd 2023 – Pope St. Leo II
St. Leo II, whose feast we celebrate on July 3, was a Pope and Confessor who lived in the 7th century. He played a crucial role in defending the Church against heresy and upholding its honor.
During his papacy, Pope Leo II approved the Acts of the 6th Ecumenical Council, which condemned the heresy of Monothelism. This heresy denied that Jesus Christ had both a human and a divine will. Pope Leo II courageously confronted the issue and condemned Pope Honorius, his predecessor, who had supported Monothelism. In his condemnation, Pope Leo II expressed that instead of purifying the Church, Pope Honorius had allowed it to be stained by a profane betrayal.
The actions of Pope Leo II remind us of the importance of upholding truth and preserving the purity of the Church. He exemplified the responsibility of the Pope to safeguard the faith and protect the Church from falsehoods. Pope Leo II's unwavering commitment to the truth serves as an inspiration for us today.
As we face challenges and confront false teachings in our own time, let us invoke the intercession of St. Leo II. May his example encourage us to defend the truth, reject heresy, and remain steadfast in upholding the honor and integrity of the Church. Through his prayers, may we have the strength and courage to stand firm in our faith.
Pope St. Leo II, pray for us!

Business Hires Fake Priest - Judge Thapar on Clarence Thomas - Adam Blai on Occult In Culture
Catholic Drive Time - 877-757-9424
Date – Wednesday, June 28th - 2023 – St. William of Vercelli
St. William of Vercelli, a nobleman born in 1085 in Vercelli, Italy, had a deep longing to renounce the world and live as a hermit. At a young age, he built a hermitage at Monte Vergine, where his sanctity and miracles attracted numerous disciples. A community formed around him, and a church dedicated to Our Lady was erected on the site.
An extraordinary phenomenon was observed at the Monte Vergine monastery. According to the rule, the monks were forbidden to consume meat, eggs, milk, or cheese. Whenever someone attempted to bring forbidden food into the monastery, storm clouds would appear in the sky, and lightning would destroy the illicit items.
These events, which demonstrated God's desire for the traditions of penance and austerity upheld by St. William, highlight the beautiful harmony and contrasts of the Middle Ages. The Catholic Church, in that era, not only fostered intellectual pursuits but also emphasized manual labor and encouraged both active and contemplative lives.
Upon St. William's death on June 25, 1142., his institution ceased to exist, and the monastery was handed over to the Benedictines of Monte Cassino. In reverence to St. William, these Benedictine monks adopted the white habit of his order, displaying their love for tradition and their hope for the restoration of the Order of St. William.
From St. William's life, we can draw inspiration. We can emulate his unwavering trust in Divine Providence, even when he was excluded from his own order. And we can aspire to possess the same wisdom and humility he exhibited while advising the King of Naples.
St. William of Vercelli, pray for us!

First Trans State Lawmaker Arrested on Child Porn - Vatican Denies Permission to say Latin Mass
Catholic Drive Time - 877-757-9424
Date – Tuesday, June 27th - 2023 – Our Lady of Perpetual Help
The devotion to Our Lady of Perpetual Help originated on the Island of Crete and was popularized by the Redemptorist priests. The iconic image associated with this devotion reflects Byzantine influence and is laden with symbolism.
The painting features a gold background, a characteristic often used in the art of the Eastern Roman Empire. It represents the glory of Our Lady as Queen of Heaven. She is depicted wearing a deep blue mantle, symbolizing her motherhood, while the red tunic beneath represents her virginity. This combination emphasizes her dual role as both Mother and Virgin.
In the painting, Our Lady holds the Child Jesus with great intimacy and affection. The artist portrays her as a mother who intimately knows her Son, and her gaze conveys deep respect and veneration. The Child Jesus, although appearing older than a baby, symbolizes his dependence on his mother through the way his hands are held by hers. This gesture signifies the power of Our Lady's prayer and her ability to guide and protect him.
Two angels in the painting present the instruments of the Passion to the Child Jesus, foreshadowing his future suffering and redemption of humanity. The sandal hanging from the Child's foot by a single string represents the sinner who remains connected to Christ through devotion to Our Lady.
The Greek initials in the painting represent "Mother of God," "St. Michael the Archangel," "St. Gabriel the Archangel," and "Jesus Christ," highlighting the divine significance of the figures depicted.
While the painting may have some artistic imperfections, its true value lies in the symbolism it conveys. It invites contemplation and discovery of its rich layers of meaning.
As devotees of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, we are encouraged to seek her perpetual help and mercy in our lives. She is depicted as the Star of the Sea, guiding us towards Heaven. Through our prayers and devotion to her, we can experience her unflagging mercy and assistance, knowing that she is always there to help us in every situation.
Let us turn to Our Lady of Perpetual Help, entrusting ourselves to her care and intercession, confident in her perpetual help and unwavering love for us.
Our Lady of Perpetual Help, pray for us!

Demons and Aliens - The Sacred Heart of Jesus with Timothy Flanders
Catholic Drive Time - 877-757-9424
Date – Friday, June 9th - 2023 – Venerable José of Anchieta
Fr. José of Anchieta (1534-1597) was the evangelizer of Brazil and the founder of São Paulo. Yet, many Brazilians are unaware of his greatness.
Anchieta's life holds valuable lessons. He tirelessly served indigenous peoples, overcoming hardships in his missionary journeys. He risked his life as a hostage to maintain peace among the Tamoios Indians. He united Mamelukes, Indians, and Portuguese in their love for Christ.
Anchieta's devotion to the Catholic Church, Jesus Christ, and the Virgin Mary was unwavering. His sand-written poetry on São Vicente's beaches testifies to his deep faith.
Today, Brazilian Catholics should embrace Anchieta's example. His labor, sacrifice, peacemaking, obedience, and defense of the faith are needed in Brazil.
Let us restore order, forsaking petty ambitions and engaging in battles for the Church. The Marian youth of Brazil, following Anchieta's lead, revitalize faith and prepare for future challenges.
Honoring José of Anchieta, statues stand in downtown São Paulo.

LGBT Activist Attack in LA + Keep Catholic Politicians Accountable + Virtues with Sheen
Catholic Drive Time - 877-757-9424
Date – Thursday, June 8th - 2023 – Feast of Corpus Christi
After the Last Supper, some may question if Jesus would abandon humanity on Earth. His sacrifice, special relationship with those He saved, and desire to be present among us suggest otherwise.
Jesus, aware of His Resurrection and Ascension, would not forsake mankind. He wanted to remain with us until the end of the world. His love and compassion would not allow Him to separate Himself from humanity forever.
Thus, Jesus established a profound communion with us through the Holy Eucharist. He is present at all times and in all places, whether in grand cathedrals or humble chapels. He chose to multiply His presence on Earth in this remarkable way.
Encountering a Catholic, one can consider that Jesus might have been present in their soul yesterday or could be present tomorrow. In that moment, the person becomes a living Tabernacle, able to receive the Sacred Species.
We witness Jesus' mercy when He instituted the Holy Eucharist. He waits in abandoned Tabernacles, humbly offering Himself to all who approach. His presence is awe-inspiring, given His status as the King of Heaven and Earth.
We often fail to grasp the depth of recognition, adoration, and gratitude we should have for what Jesus accomplished at the Last Supper.
We must thank God, through Our Lady, for the institution of the Holy Eucharist. As every gift from Heaven to mankind is requested by her, she also asked Jesus to institute the Sacrament. We should be grateful to Him for condescending to establish the Holy Eucharist and to her for interceding on our behalf.
We must recognize the infinite value of the Mass, closely connected to the Holy Eucharist. The essence of the Mass lies in the renewal of the Sacrifice of the Cross. Through the priest's sacramental words, bread and wine become the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. This act is both the immolation of the Victim and the definitive act of the Real Presence, remaining in the Sacred Species within Tabernacles worldwide.
We must ponder the immeasurable value of the renewed Sacrifice of the Cross in the Mass. The reverence for this Sacrifice is so great that even the need for divine vengeance and the end of the world would wait until the Last Day.
In summary, Jesus' establishment of the Holy Eucharist demonstrates His desire to be present with us always. The Mass and the Real Presence reveal His infinite love and mercy, reminding us of the immeasurable value of His sacrifice on the Cross. Let us gratefully embrace the gift of the Holy Eucharist and approach it with reverence and adoration.

Kansas City has Many Invalid Masses - John Yep on the Dodgers Blasphemy
Catholic Drive Time - 877-757-9424
Date – Wednesday, June 7th - 2023 – St. Willibald
Willibald, an 8th-century bishop of Eichstätt in Bavaria, was known for his extensive travels and devout missionary work. Born in Wessex around 700, he was the son of Richard the Pilgrim and Wuna of Wessex, with a brother named Winibald and a sister named Walburga.
At the age of three, Willibald fell seriously ill. Miraculously, he survived and entered the Benedictine monastery at Waldheim at age five, embracing the monastic ideal of peregrinatio religiosa.
In 721, Willibald embarked on a pilgrimage to Rome with his father and brother. Along the way, they visited shrines and prayed, but their journey took a tragic turn when his father passed away. Willibald and Winibald continued their pilgrimage until they fell seriously ill, but through their prayers, they were miraculously healed.
Willibald and his companions sailed to Naples in 724, exploring Sicily and Greece before reaching Asia Minor. They visited various holy sites, including Ephesus and the tomb of John the Evangelist. Their pilgrimage eventually led them to the Holy Land.
After his pilgrimage, Willibald joined the Benedictine community at Monte Cassino, playing a vital role in the monastery's reformation.
In 738, Willibald received a request from Boniface, a prominent missionary, to assist in his work in Germany. Willibald arrived in Eichstätt, where he was ordained a priest by Boniface in 741 and consecrated as the bishop of Eichstätt in 746.
Under Willibald's guidance, the double monastery of Heidenheim was founded in 742, becoming an influential center for the spread of Christianity.
For over four decades, Willibald dedicated himself to his episcopal duties, sharing his inspiring journey and teachings. His life and travels left a lasting impact on the Church.
Today, Willibald is remembered as a devout bishop, a courageous traveler, and a dedicated missionary. His shrine is located at the Eichstätt Cathedral in Germany, where his relics are preserved. His feast day is celebrated on July 7th, commemorating his remarkable life and unwavering faith.
St. Willibald, Pray for us.

Two Pro-lifers Badly Assaulted Outside Baltimore Planned Parenthood - Regis Martin Calls Out Pope
Catholic Drive Time - 877-757-9424
Date – Tuesday, May 30th - 2023 – St. Joan of Arc
In the annals of martyrdom, few stories shine as brightly as that of St. Joan of Arc. On the eve of the feast of Corpus Christi, in 1431, Joan faced an unjust and tragic fate. Tied to a stake, surrounded by a pile of firewood, she was labeled a heretic, apostate, and idolater. A crowd gathered, and six hundred English soldiers stood guard.
As she arrived at the site, she requested a cross, a symbol of her unwavering faith. An English soldier fashioned a cross from the broken stick of a lance, and Joan clutched it in her hands. Bound to the stake, she called out to St. Michael, her voice resounding through the square. The executioner lit the firewood, and the flames roared to life. Yet, amidst the inferno, Joan's spirit remained unyielding.
With great conviction, she cried out, proclaiming her fidelity to her mission, declaring, "I was not mistaken, the voices came from Heaven!" In just moments, it was over. The ashes were scattered into the waters of the Seine River, including her heart, which had remained intact, untouched by the flames.
Reflecting on this poignant martyrdom, we are struck by the injustice of the placard around her neck, branding her a heretic. It parallels the fabrication of false accusations against those who fight against progressivism today. Joan's unwavering belief in the voices from Heaven stands as a testament to her sanctity, while the tribunal's attempt to discredit her victories and attribute them to witchcraft exposes their malevolence.
In her final moments, Joan's warrior spirit burned brightly. She requested a cross, underscoring the solemnity of her oath. As the flames consumed her body, she called out, defying her enemies, and encouraging the French resistance against English domination. Her cry reverberated through the square, urging her countrymen to persevere, assuring them that victory would be granted from Heaven.
Amidst the searing flames, a remarkable phenomenon occurred—the fire spared her heart. It was a miraculous affirmation of the truth she had proclaimed: the voices came from Heaven. Yet, recognizing the power that her heart could inspire, the English commanders feared its influence. They discarded it into the river, an act characteristic of the hardened hearts of the impious.
St. Joan of Arc's martyrdom remains a beacon of heroism and devotion. Her unyielding spirit, her resolute faith, and her fearless proclamation at the hour of her death continue to inspire generations. Let us honor her memory and follow in her footsteps, fighting against injustice and proclaiming the truth, until the triumph of God's Kingdom is achieved.
St. Joan of Arc, Pray for us.

Target Supports Outrageous LGBT Ideologies and SATANISM
Catholic Drive Time - 877-757-9424
Date – Thursday, May 25th - 2023 – Pope St. Gregory VII
St. Gregory VII, a Pope known for his unwavering teachings, defended the Pope's rights over the Church and the spiritual authority over the temporal realm. His most controversial work, the Dictatus Papae, faced criticism from progressive theologians. It expressed his view on the relationship between the Pope and the Emperor, specifically concerning the Emperor's control over Church affairs and the election of Bishops.
St. Gregory VII vigorously opposed the Emperor's interference, aiming to dismantle the imperial government's ambitions and humiliate its pretensions. He succeeded in asserting the authority of the Papacy over temporal matters.
The Dictatus Papae outlined St. Gregory VII's belief in the Papal Monarchy as a universal spiritual authority. While the temporal power governed independently, the Pope's influence over the Empire was significant. The temporal power was seen as a tool to protect the Catholic Church, defend the Faith, and combat its enemies, acting under the Pope's guidance. This concept established two distinct and independent powers: the spiritual under the Pope and the temporal under the Emperor and secular rulers.
St. Gregory VII's victory over the Emperor solidified the Papacy as the center of society during the Middle Ages. The Pope held the highest position, followed by the Emperor, and then the temporal sovereigns. The entire Catholic Hierarchy stood alongside the Pope in the spiritual realm. In essence, everything relied on the Pope's authority.
On the feast day of St. Gregory VII, we are encouraged to seek his intercession for the restoration of this vision, which harmonizes the spiritual and temporal orders. The revival of this perspective will mark the dawn of the Reign of Mary. Similarly, when the Reign of Mary arrives, this vision
will be fully realized.
Let us pray to St. Gregory VII, asking God to bring back his sublime vision to Earth, for it holds the key to finding the right path in our lives.
Pope St. Gregory VII, Pray for us.

Cardinal Cupich Opposes Chicago Politicians - Good News from Tennessee - Brent Haynes on Teen Crime
Catholic Drive Time - 877-757-9424
Date – Wednesday, May 24th - 2023 – Our Lady Help of Christians | Auxilium Christianorum
The Battle of Lepanto, a significant naval battle in history, held the fate of Europe in the balance. Protestantism had caused division in Christendom, and religious wars were raging. The Catholic forces, comprising Spain, Venice, and Genoa, along with a small papal fleet, faced a formidable Turkish fleet.
During the battle, while Catholic forces were on the verge of defeat, Muslim sources revealed an astonishing occurrence. The Turkish fleet witnessed a majestic Lady in the sky, emanating a menacing gaze that struck fear into their hearts. Overwhelmed by her presence, the Turks lost their courage and fled.
Two men played pivotal roles in this momentous event. Don Juan of Austria, commander of the Catholic Armada, and St. Pius V, the Pope at the time, both turned to Our Lady Help of Christians in prayer. They placed their trust in her intercession and hoped for a miracle.
Though the Catholic soldiers were unaware of her intervention, the Turks later reported the appearance of the Lady in the sky. It became evident that Our Lady had intervened, turning the tide of the battle in favor of the Catholics.
What made the knights and soldiers of Lepanto true heroes was their unwavering faith. Despite facing seemingly insurmountable odds, they believed in Our Lady's power to secure victory. Their trust in her was not a blind resignation but a resolute act of fidelity to a grace-inspired voice within them.
This act of unwavering faith holds a profound lesson for us today. In the face of adversity, let us emulate the heroes of Lepanto. Rather than succumbing to despair, let us trust in Our Lady's promises and affirm with confidence that she will triumph.
May we discern the voice of Our Lady, finding strength in challenging circumstances and embracing the hope of victory. Let us remember that Our Lady Help of Christians will lead us to triumph and restore Catholic Civilization.

New Relativism with Karlo Broussard - Dodgers Re-Invite ‘Queer & Trans Nuns’ Troupe With Apology
Catholic Drive Time - 877-757-9424
Date – Tuesday, May 23rd - 2023 – St. Ivo of Chartres
Saint Ivo of Chartres, a courageous and logical Bishop, lived during a time of turmoil in France. When King Philip I sought to divorce his legitimate wife and marry another woman, he turned to Saint Ivo for support, citing the alleged approval of a tribunal of Bishops. However, Saint Ivo firmly refused, stating that his conscience and reputation as a Bishop prevented him from endorsing such actions. He even compared the King's adultery to that of Herod and Herodias, emphasizing the need to defend the Church. As the drama unfolded, Saint Ivo intervened at every critical moment, writing to the King and a hesitant Legate, urging them to follow the teachings of the Church. Despite pressures and summonses, he remained steadfast in his refusal to participate in the illegitimate marriage. His logical spirit and unwavering dedication to the Faith serve as powerful lessons for us today. We should strive for coherence and logic in our beliefs, and we should admire and support Bishops who embody these qualities, for they contribute to the beauty and strength of the Church.

Marijuana vs Cigars/Alcohol - Target Sells Trans Items to Kids - 5th Grade Teacher Shows Explicit
Catholic Drive Time - 877-757-9424
Date – Monday, May 22nd - 2023 – St. Crispin of Viterbo
St. Crispin of Viterbo, born in 1668, was consecrated to Our Lady at a young age and had a deep devotion to her throughout his life. He entered the Capuchin Order as a lay brother, serving in various cities in Italy. Despite his humble role, his piety and miracles attracted many people, including Pope Clement XI, who visited the small altar to the Holy Virgin that St. Crispin built in his kitchen. He had a contagious piety that touched the hearts of those around him.
St. Crispin's devotion to Our Lady brought him extraordinary graces, and he was known for his ability to heal. The Vatican physician acknowledged the power of his remedies and recognized the wisdom of the Holy Virgin. St. Crispin's faith and simplicity inspired others, and he became a trusted confidant of the governor and the bishop in Orvieto, where he spent many years.
St. Crispin's life mirrored that of St. Felix of Cantalice, another Capuchin lay brother. Together, they exemplify the virtues of humility, peace, and serenity of soul. Their harmonious contrast provides a valuable example for Catholics engaged in the fight against the Church's enemies. By embracing this balance, we prepare ourselves for the Reign of Mary, a society in which all harmonious contrasts will shine. St. Crispin of Viterbo was beatified on May 21, 1806, and his life continues to inspire us to seek holiness through simplicity and devotion to Our Lady.
St. Crispin of Viterbo, Pray for us.

LA Dodgers & 'Sisters Of Perpetual Indulgence’ - Bad Arguments for Attending Invalid “Weddings”
Catholic Drive Time - 877-757-9424
Date – Friday, May 19th - 2023 – Pope St. Peter Celestine
Pope St. Peter Celestine, known as the Phoenix of the Church, lived a remarkable life marked by humility and simplicity. Born in Italy to peasant parents, he displayed piety from a young age and even had visits from Angels, Saints, and the Virgin Mary during his prayers.
In 1274, he went to Rome to defend his religious order, and with the help of a miracle, he gained the approval of Pope Gregory X. During a Mass before the Pontiff, he desired his simple vestments that he had left behind, and Angels appeared to deliver them to him. Afterward, he returned to his solitude.
Upon the vacancy of the Papal See, Peter was unexpectedly elected as Pope Celestine V. Though he initially resisted the priesthood and considered himself unworthy, he accepted the position. As Pope, he lived with humility and continued his austere practices, even amid the bustling crowds.
However, Peter eventually felt that the Papacy was not his true calling and decided to abdicate. Despite opposition, he remained steadfast in his resolution and, in a poignant moment, read his renunciation before the Cardinals. Clothed in pontifical vestments, he voluntarily relinquished the papal dignity and returned to his solitude, where he would eventually pass away.
Peter's life is a testament to the innocence and purity of his childhood, his ability to attract masses through his solitary and saintly life, and the blessings bestowed upon his works. His unwavering simplicity and detachment from earthly concerns distinguished him, and his dialogue with God in solitude reflected his preparation for Heaven.

Dr. Taylor Marshall Announces His Running for President - Bishop Strickland Under Attack
Catholic Drive Time - 877-757-9424
Date – Monday, May 15th - 2023 – Pope St. Julius I
St. John Baptist de la Salle was born in Rheims, France in 1651. As a young boy, he experienced a deep dissatisfaction with the social gatherings around him, prompting him to seek spiritual guidance from his cousin. He entered the clergy, becoming a canon of the See of Rheims at the age of 16.
In 1670, he went to Paris to study theology, after the deaths of his parents, he returned home to care for his siblings. It was during this time that he encountered a free school for orphan boys and recognized the need for Catholic education for the poor.
St. John Baptist de la Salle took on the responsibility of training teachers for these schools and founded the Brothers of the Christian Schools, also known as the Christian Brothers.
Despite the challenges, St. John Baptist de la Salle persevered and wrote rules for the Institute, emphasizing a life without money and relying on Divine Providence. He distributed his wealth to the poor and faced opposition from his disciples who wanted a share of the goods.
The institute and its schools faced persecution, with the lay teachers being ridiculed and attacked.
In his later years, St. John Baptist de la Salle faced mistreatment and the loss of his priestly powers. However, he remained steadfast in his faith and, two days before his death on April 7, 1719, he expressed his hope of entering the Promised Land of the elect.
St. John Baptist de la Salle's mission was to provide a Catholic education for poor boys and he dedicated his life to that cause.
Let us pray to St. John Baptist de la Salle to help us appreciate and support all the vocations in Holy Mother Church.

Major Migrant Crisis - Pope Francis Canonizes Schismatics - Shroud of Turin Exhibit -
Catholic Drive Time - 877-757-9424
Date – Friday, May 12th - 2023 – Pope St. Julius I
Pope St. Julius I, who reigned from 337 to 352, is honored today for his courageous defense of the Catholic faith against the Arian heresy. During his papacy, he faced challenges from the Eusebians, who continued to promote Arianism and harbored hostility towards St. Athanasius, the Bishop of Alexandria.
When the Eusebians opposed St. Athanasius' return to his See, they appealed to Pope Julius for resolution. In response, the Pope convened the Council of Sardica in 343. He warmly welcomed St. Athanasius to Rome, reaffirming his support for the Alexandrian bishop's teachings and position.
The Council of Sardica addressed critical matters concerning the Catholic faith, the objections raised by the Arian followers of Eusebius of Nicomedia, and the complaints lodged against St. Athanasius. Pope Julius I, together with the council Fathers, deposed and excommunicated eight prominent Arians, removing them from their episcopal offices and cutting them off from the faithful.
In recognition of Pope Julius' steadfastness and leadership, the Bishops of the Council sent him a remarkable letter titled "Quod semper credidimus." In this letter, they expressed their belief that the Pope, despite his physical absence, was present with them in spirit and shared their convictions. They acknowledged the importance of reporting to the Head of the Church, the See of the Apostle Peter, to safeguard the flock against schismatic wolves and heretical adversaries.
Pope St. Julius I's unwavering commitment to upholding Catholic doctrine and defending the Church from heresy serves as a shining example of his sanctity and fidelity. May his steadfastness inspire us to courageously defend the faith in our own lives and stand firm against any threats to the truth.
Pope St. Julius I, Pray for us.

Sub tuum praesidium confugimus,

Nostras deprecationes ne despicias in necessitatibus,
sed a periculis cunctis libera nos semper,
Virgo gloriosa et benedicta.

We fly to thy protection,
O holy Mother of God.
