Wood Pellets in a Solo Stove?
Trying out wood pellets in a Solo Stove Lite.
There is a plate needed to help burn the pellets, but an accelerant is important to get the pellets to get a complete burn.
This could be a good option for a beach, wet day, or time when dry wood is not available, and you need to boil/heat water for a drink or food.
Its always good to test things, and know what to expect, vs thinking it should work.

Century Arms MKE AP5-P
Going over the Century Arms, Turkish import MKE pistol, the AP5-P a clone of the HK MP5K pistol in PDW form (5.83" threaded Navy tri lug barrel).
MKE in Turkey uses HK licensed tooling to make cheaper contract pistols/machine pistols for civilian and Government applications.
I was not impressed by the Century MKE and recommend the Zenith USA pistol over MKE based on my ownership of both. The HK SP5K is best, but over twice the cost (and I own one also). I recommend Zenith if on a budget. Find them on sale, not retail.

NO DRILL CHEEK REST
Going over a product that raises the height on the comb of your rifle, to aid with higher sight lines, due to scopes and optics. Test fit it on a few rifle stocks and shotguns in the video
Made in the USA of Kydex, and velcro. Removable, reusable. Comes i a variety of colors (can be custom ordered in any popular kydex pattens if you contact the manufacture) . Initial impressions are its a great product, with a wide range of use for todays optics. I might get a few more.

HK SP5K vs ZENITH ZF5-P
Please give a like, and if not subscribed, SUBSCRIBE and never miss a video of CAVCOP going over guns and gear.
Comparing the H&K premium SP5K pistol to a cheaper Zenith ZF5-P.
Is the $3,000 German pistol worth the cost vs the $1,200 American made Zenith clone? Do you get a better fit and finish? Is the H&K superior for welds?
Spoiler alert; I will probably be sending the Zenith back for warranty work, due to I think is a small issue, but never should have passed a quality control inspection.
To be fair, H&K comes with a nice carry case, a 1 point sling, 2 magazines, and a sight tool. Zenith comes with a cheaper carry bag and 1 magazine. But is that a $1,800 difference?

PART 2 of 2: How to assemble an AR/M4 lower receiver
If you follow me, in this video you might learn a little more about me.
This video is to show how to assemble an AR/M4 lower receiver, using basic tools (No fancy blocks, mounts, etc...) I try to show a few easy ways to do things, based on my years of experience. Its a simple process anyone can do at home.
Lower receivers are "the firearm" and have to go through an FFL, but for $50 you can buy a stripped lower (along with FFL transfer fees, which tend to be going up as the FBI charges more to maintain an FFL).
Why buy a stripped lower? Cost. If you want an AR/M4, you can buy just the lower for $50 and then pay a $25-$50 FFL fee. Other parts can be bought later., as you can afford them, through the mail or at gun shows. Another bonus is you are buying a stripped lower, that you can "build as a pistol". If you bought a complete rifle AR/M4, made by a company, its a rifle and can never legally be a pistol, unless you get a tax stamp/SBR/register it, and then you have worry about selling it later or doing paperwork to change it. A pistol you build, can stay a pistol, or be made into a rifle and back, based on the law. The AFT has put out, a pistol can be converted to a rife and back to a pistol, but a rifle must stay a rifle. Don't risk becoming a felon, making a rifle into a pistol .
TIPS (you might fail to read);
DO NOT USE ANY LOCTITE.
USE A RAG TO WORK ON.
USE OIL/GREASE ON METAL TO ALUMINUM PARTS.
LINE THINGS UP, AND TAP LIGHTLY AT FIRST.
USE TAPE OR CARDBOARD TO COVER THE RECEIVER (so you don't leave marks if you miss with a hammer/punch).
USE A LARGE CLEAR BAG TO INSTALL SPRINGS/DETENT PINS (as they might fly off).
TIGHTEN THE GRIP AND CASTLE NUT, THEN BACK OFF, AND RETIGHTEN (season the threads).
STAKE YOUR CASTLE NUT, IF COMPLETE AND A SELF DEFENSE USE (non range toy).
BE CAREFUL WITH THE TRIGGER GUARD EARS TOWARDS THE REAR WHEN INSTALLING THE REAR ROLL PIN, AS YOU COULD BEND/BREAK THEM.
If looking for an affordable upper to attach to your lower, check out:

Testing GT9 12 ga Ammo from Black Aces
Blasting away with GT9 12 ga ammo, to see if this cheap ammo works, or is a waste of money.
Used my Saiga 12, Benelli M4, Stevens SxS and Mossberg/Howa 1000.
I rate this ammo as a good buy for quality made shotguns.

My first handgun, Colt King Cobra
When I turned 21 I got my first handgun, a Colt King Cobra around 1993. Back then 9mm's were seen as not reliable or effective. The .357 revolvers were popular in Texas and with law enforcement for stopping power over higher capacity. Times have changed as ammo quality has gotten better, along with better manufacturing machines and more reliable semi-autos.

MY FIRST FIREARM I BOUGHT, WHAT WAS YOURS?
Going over the first firearm I bought over 30 years ago. Post your first firearm you bought (or plan to buy) in the comments.
It was the early 90's, I was under 21 and could not buy a pistol. I was early in my military career, did not have a lot of money, read a lot of firearm magazines as there was no social media back then. I spent months deciding on what I thought was the best firearm I could get between a rifle and a shotgun.
