Overcoming Faith: Walking in The Spirit - The Cross Experienced Part 1
In this video, we start to explore how the cross works. We start our exploration by remembering that we are a new creation in Christ. We are seated in the heavenlies with Christ. When He was resurrected, we were spiritually resurrected with Him as that new creation. That does not mean that our old man was done away with. No, we remain tied to the old man, or the "wretched body" Paul talks about in Romans. Paul asks, who will separate us, or rescue us from that wretched body. When we look to the law, and even religious forms to rescue us, all that happens is that our wretchedness is exposed even more. Too many buckle down in these forms rather than pick up their cross and follow Christ through the power of the Spirit. As we shall see, the old man is to be crucified as we pick up our crosses and follow Christ. All that happens to those who understand the cross is that they die to the old man and are freed from that wretched body to live in Christ through the new creation.

Overcoming Faith: Walking in The Spirit - The Cross Experienced Part 2
In this video, we begin to look at the cross, which scripture tells us surprisingly is the power of God to those who are being saved. To those who are perishing, however, who operate out of the Tree of Knowledge, deciding for themselves what good and evil is based on how it affects their flesh, the cross is foolishness. The cross' power lies in the fact that those who pick it up experience death or separation from that which is perishing (the old nature or old man) to be resurrected in the power of Life in our union with Christ and the Father. When this happens, we are no longer hindered by the things of this world and access the peace that passes all understanding in this world

Overcoming Faith: Walking in The Spirit - The Cross and the Old Man's Forms
In this video, we start out by looking at aspiration. In Latin, the word means to blow on or breathe into. Just as the physical body cannot live without breathing, man must be inspired by spirit. The spirits can be good (As God intended when He sent His Holy Spirit to indwell in us) or bad (as in the fallen spirits). These spirits establish our aspirations or our hopes and desires. We can start out with good aspirations, such as to please God, but through the fallen nature that depends on us being God to sort out what only the infinite God can do, our good intentions can quickly be usurped by the fallen forms inside us developed over time by our separation from God.

Overcoming Faith: Walking in The Spirit - Picking up Your Cross and Dying to the Old Man
In this video, we will flush out a bit about how the spirit, soul, and body work together. The scripture is clear that in Christ we are a new creation. Moreover, Ephesians tell us that we are presently seated with Christ in the heavenlies. So, what about the old creation, the old man? Well, he is still here, but is dying and will pass away like the rest of the physical creation when the new heaven and new earth are created. In the meantime, we have to deal with the old man. How do we do that? The answer is picking up your cross daily, which we will look at in this first of several videos to come.

Overcoming Faith: Walking in The Spirit - Spirit, Soul and Body
IIn this video, we begin to delve into the war within us by looking at the relationship between the three parts of man. Every man or woman (and child) has a physical body, a soul, and a "spirit." The spirit is eternal. The physical body, which includes the brain is passing away. The soul is that part that connects the spirit and the body. When Adam and Eve ate from the Tree of Knowledge, they "sinned" or separated from God as the sole source within their souls that connected spirit and body, and in essence became their own god. It is important to see that we separated from God and that God did not separate from us as was illustrated in Him coming after Adam and Eve when they hid from Him.
Of course, there were consequences to their action as illustrated by the curses. Note that these curses were not placed on Man. Even the curse on childbearing was not placed on Eve so much as how things would be birthed in a world opposed to God. These curses quickly exposed how inadequate Man was to be God, and just how much Man God to even identify evil let alone overcome it.
God came down in the person of Jesus Christ to close the gap between us and God and in doing so opened the door to the Spirit, Who by dwelling in us, made us brethren of the Second Adam, or Adam as he was before what we call the "fall."
Overcoming faith walks by the Spirit as the covering by which we bring under control the body and soul at enmity with God.

Overcoming Faith: Walking in The Spirit - Strategies of the Enemy (Dysphoria & Identity)
In this video, we will start to look at the strategies of the enemy by looking at dysphoria and identity. God has made every human being unique, special, and beautiful. He intended each human being to be His child and to grow up to be a brother or sister to His Son, so that the "Son may have many brethren." Satan stops us from experiencing this love and power in this world by attacking "Image," that of God our Father (so, that we will see Him as a cruel father and leave him) and our image (so that we will feel worthless and unlovable) When God opens our eyes to not only Who He truly is (and not Who we have been taught He is, often by well-meaning people) and who we are, everything changes, and as God's prodigal children, we return home to find Him waiting there for us.

Overcoming Faith: Walking in the Spirit -By one man's disobedience/by one Man's obedience
In this video, we look at just how "free" our will is through the disobedience of one man (the First Adam). We examine how our will is truly made free by "trusting" Christ, rather than simply obeying the law, as the Second Adam Who made many righteous (and free) through His Obedience to the Fathe through His love and Trust. The choice is not as much about obeying the law to avoid consequences but to trust God. Obedience flows from Trust, not trust from obedience. It is a matter of what tree we move in that either keeps us in bondage or sets us truly free.

Overcoming Faith: Walking in the Spirit - The First and Second Adam
In this video, we look at the differences between the first and second Adam. The First Adam processes the world and even The Spirit through the "skins" that are his covering since his eyes were opened by eating from the Tree of Knowledge. Everything he does he does from his vantage point through his "own understanding." The Second Adam walks in Light, not His own will or understanding. He processes the world moment-by-moment in the Spirit, asking the Father in everything He does, am I to drink from this cup, seeking not His will but the will of the Father?

Overcoming Faith: Walking in the Spirit -It's About a Kingdom (Two Son Principle)
To walk in the Spirit requires seeing spiritually, which is opposed to seeing carnally through the Tree of Knowledge. Like most Pharisees, Nicodemus knew the scriptures forward and backward, yet he looked at Jesus and was not sure whether he was the Messiah. He needed to be born from above or spiritually so that he could see spiritually, like Peter did when he said to Jesus, "You are the Christ," to which Jesus said flesh and blood has not revealed this to you but my Father in heaven by His Spirit. Our war is not against flesh and blood but spiritual beings in the "high places." It is impossible to war against an enemy that you cannot see. In this video, we look at inheritance and the two-son principle to understand why Satan hates God and us.

Overcoming Faith: Walking in the Spirit - The Abstract (Spiritual) and the Concrete (Physical)
We begin a new series on walking in the Spirit. Everyone in the world has something that plagues them that they would like to overcome. That something may be anxiety, finances, or lust, just to name a few. The list is endless and personal to each believer. Our obstacles take on a physicality but always have a spiritual origin. So, overcoming the physical requires finding a "spiritual" solution. Sadly, most people try to overcome the physical by the physical in endless studies and religious forms, rather than let the Spirit establish the "form" in the present. It's not that forms are bad so much as once the Spirit moves from the past to the present, the power that the Spirit once established in those forms in that bygone moment may not always be present in the future moments to come, leaving us with a form that is dead and powerless to overcome what assaults us in the present.

Spirit is Movement: Love or Fear
In this video, we look at how we are motivated by "spirit" in making decisions through our feelings and thoughts. The question is what "spirit" is motivating us in any particular feeling or thought? God's Spirit moves us outwardly. Dark spirits and our own spirit will lead us inwardly. God's Spirit leads to life and freedom from fear, while these other spirits move us from fear to anxiety and depression.

The Reality of Knowing God - Chaos, Anxiety, and Depression (Playing God)
In this video, we continue our discussion about having a relational versus a propositional relationship with Jesus. We look at chaos, and how our inability to control good and evil to "save" ourselves leads to anxiety and depression when our "thesis" or the propositional statements we arrive at to "save" ourselves face opposition causing cognitive dissonance

The Reality of God - The Problem of The Finite Knowing The Infinite
In this video, we again dive into the problems Adam and Eve had negotiating good and evil (and the Infinite God) as finite beings, as has been the case for all men and women ever since. Not only is man (as a finite being) incapable of comprehending an Infinite God in His totality, but the very problem of the limitation in knowing anything completely leads to anxiety apart from a relational connection to God through Jesus, rather than a mere propositional understanding of Him. We conclude by discussing how Hegel's understanding of history in terms of thesis-antithesis-synthesis continues to guarantee angst and division apart from a personal relationship to Christ, not dependent upon a complete propositional understanding.

The Reality of God - Awareness Before and After Eating the Fruit
Most of us have heard the story of Adam and Eve, in which Eve is deceived by the Serpent to eat the forbidden fruit from the Tree of Knowledge. We know that in eating this fruit their eyes were opened. In this video, we look at their awareness (how they saw and interacted with reality, specifically creation) both before and after eating the fruit.

The Reality of Knowing God
In this series, we will look at the obstacles to knowing God. The deception presented to Eve in the Garden was two-fold. He told Eve that if she ate from the Tree of Knowledge she would "know" good and evil. The second lie was that by "knowing" good and evil she would be like or equal to God. By choosing "knowledge" over "life," we will see that Eve, and then Adam, exchanged a relational understanding of God, and, therefore, a relationship with God (as Father), for a mere propositional (or lifeless) understanding of God that would make it almost impossible for man to know God as the Father until the Son appears to illustrate the relationship between the Father and His children empowered by union with the Father through the Holy Spirit.

In Part IX, we look at two legal terms Mens Rea and Actus Reus, in light of Spirit or spirits (direction & assumptions), motive (the unseen decisions that we make in our heads) and what we experience in the physical world as a process that is behind all that we think, feel, decide, and experience, before asking the question what is behind the rise of digital currencies and the GFederal Reserves push to stop their rise.

PART VIII: The Luciferian System - Marriage and the Living Water
In Part VIII, we look at how need and desire are different, what marriage is, and how Living Water helps us avoid the temptations of the Luciferian System that exploits our needs and desires. Unlike the Luciferian Systems, God's economy is not based upon us meeting His needs but His desires.

PART VII: The Luciferian Systems - The Three Rooms of Awareness
In Part VII, we look at awareness and consciousness and how we see in a "mirror dimly." Unlike Luciferian systems that talk about special knowledge, a relational Christianity where in our relationship we are seated with Christ in the heavenly throne room, we have access to all things and must not do anything to earn His favor. We have access to what I call the three rooms of awareness without earning His favor. We must merely learn to walk in our position in Christ.

PART V: The Luciferian System -The Old Testament vs. The New Testament
In Part V, we look at how how the world systems operate on the Old Testament form and how to discern the spirits behind what we see we must operate in a personal relationship with Jesus (not a religious form that belongs to the world systems) through the Spirit. We briefly touch upon how the Old Testament form has corrupted charities and even led to centralized government and inflation.
