Cute Cub Kindergarten: Tigers’ Unusual Friends
A PLAYFUL group of baby animals enjoy a spot of rough and tumble at a Florida zoo. Kangaroos, tigers and gibbons would never form friendships with one another in the wild, but at Dade City's Wild Things, the baby animals are encouraged to interact. From feeding to changing nappies, zoo director Kathy Stearns and her team are kept busy looking after their adopted fur children. Like all babies, the animals demand a lot of affection, but as well as competing for Kathy’s attention, they are equally happy playing with each other.Unlike animals raised in the wild, animals born in captivity don’t have the same survival instinct that turns them into dangerous hunters.

Heroic Miners Save Baby Bull Elephant From Drowning In A Well
Sometimes life can change in the blink of an eye and lead us on a path we’ve never expected it would go on. We never know whether the next curve on the road leads us to success or total damnation. This small elephant babe is the prime example of it.
A baby bull elephant has been rescued after falling into a well at a copper mine. It is not known how long the youngun was trapped inside the well, but marks other elephants helping him were visible around the small well.
Video footage shows staff at the Phalaborwa Copper mine in South Africa’s Limpopo Province frantically pull the calf out of a small dam of water on February 16. They are struggling to remove the distressed animal because he keeps on slipping and the rescuers have to think of their safety as well if they want to manage to save him.
The visibly stressed elephant is eventually pulled out of the well by the heroic staff members. It is believed the calf may have fallen into the well and been left by its herd after it couldn’t escape. The rescuers showed it to other elephant herds in the area, but none of them seemed to recognize him. Because of this, he was taken to a local shelter and nursed to health. His future is still uncertain because the helpers aren’t sure how such a stressful ordeal may influence him. After all, he is still a young baby.
The young calf fell into an outflow trap and would have drowned without the incredible strength of the two men who pulled the 250lb creature to safety. Gripping video footage shows the workers Johan Bezuidenhout and Quenton du Plessis using their brute force to help the youngster who was trying to quench his thirst in the fierce drought that has stricken South Africa’s wildlife.
The elephant has been called Amanzi – water in the Zulu dialect – and is as of now appearing of getting over his close drowning problem and ensuing outcast from the crowd. Elephants Alive has uncovered Amanzi's story, South African philanthropy set up to ensure the planet's most significant land warm-blooded creatures and their natural surroundings just as advancing amicable conjunction between the animals and people.
Fears that Amanzi probably won't get by in the extreme warmth have just been alleviated, and he has bewildered his carers who are nourishing him in shifts like clockwork. A spokesman for Elephants Alive said: “We are so proud to announce that he is a very bright little elephant.
"With your prayers, we hold the faith that little Amanzi will not only become another success story, but like the ‘water,’ which is his name in Zulu, he becomes a symbol of hope.
“We also believe that he has the potential to become a national a symbol of hope for our land which is currently caught in the grips of a terrible drought. "Water is life and hope. Like Amanzi, we all depend on drops of mercy to keep us going.”

Feline Fine: New Home For Abandoned Moustache Cat
THIS abandoned kitten is feline fine after her adorable moustache led to her being adopted in a week. Sally Ann was abandoned in a Salvation Army donation bin late last month but came to national attention because of her unusual facial marking. The Salvation Army immediately contacted The Cat House on the Kings animal shelter in northern California who made sure she was in tip-top health. Once the cute kitty was spayed and thoroughly checked over she went to start her new life with Mike and Sue Salvador who first saw her when she appeared on the news.

This Is The Only Man In The World Who Can Swim With A Polar Bear
Polar bears are one of the most iconic and well-loved species in the world. They can swim constantly for days at a time. As well as reaching speeds of up to 6 mph in the water, polar bears can swim for long distances and steadily for many hours to get from one piece of ice to another. Their large paws are specially adapted for swimming, which they’ll use to paddle through the water while holding their hind legs flat like a rudder. Polar bears are actually black, not white. It’s fur is translucent, and only appears white because it reflects visible light. Beneath all that thick fur, their skin is jet black.
Imagine being able to have a polar bear as a pet just like you have a dog. Imagine doing all kinds of things with the bear as you do with your dog. Ok, maybe your dog wouldn’t be able to swim in freezing cold weather and icy water, however the time you spend with them is nevertheless amusing. Well, a man also known as a grizzly man called Mark Dumas, 60, is the only man in the world that can swim with a polar bear. We can say that he is one of the rare lucky people in the world to have a polar bear as a faithful companion. The fearless polar bear handler from Abbotsford, British Columbia, regularly goes for a dip in his swimming pool with 16-year-old female polar bear Agee, and the pair enjoy a watery cuddle together.
Grizzly Man Mark and wife Dawn, 60, train the 60-stone (800lb) friendly polar bear - the world's largest land predator - to star in high-budget TV adverts. Agee has also performed in movies like 'Alaska' in 1995 when she was just a few weeks old. With his incredibly intimate bond Grizzly Man Mark wrestles on the grass with Agee, kisses her, puts his head in the polar bear's huge jaws, and even bear hugs her as she rears up on her hind legs to over seven feet.
Mark and Dawn have owned Agee since she was six weeks old and the now colossal bear lived in their home as a cub where she played with the family dogs and was bottle fed.
"If anyone else tried this they would end up as Agee's dinner," Mark says. "The only people in the whole world she likes are me and my wife. I have worked with bears in this way for over 40 years, so I can read Agee's body language and know how to behave safely around her. But Agee is the boss and it's her rules that count."
Despite this, these majestic and awe-inspiring bears are under serious threat from climate change, which has left their sea ice habitat dwindling. Since 1972 WWF has worked hard to fight the challenges that polar bears are facing and secure them a safer future.
We are sure that this video provoked an interest among viewers, so if it tickled your imagination, don’t forget to share it and let your friends know about this phenomenal friendship.

Giant Pit Bull Hulk's Puppy Litter Comes At A Whooping Price
The world's biggest Pit Bull cuddles up to his adorable new litter, valued at a whopping half-a-million dollars price. The eight puppies were fathered by gentle giant Hulk, who weighs in at a huge 12 stone. And even though his owners say his bite could 'snap a man's arm like a toothpick', here he shows off his softer side by nuzzling and licking his new brood.
The eight pups could collectively command $500,000 (£320,000) if they go through owner Marlon Grennan’s training school to become elite protection dogs. And there are even hopes one of the new batch could one day grow big enough to steal their father's crown.
Hulk, who made international headlines when he was unveiled earlier this year, has also been in training to become a protection dog at Dark Dynasty K9s in New Hampshire, USA. The business supplies protection dogs to high-profile celebrities, billionaires and wealthy professionals, as well as law enforcement around the world.
Raising puppies is profitable all right, but Hulk is earning his owners a huge paycheck with his new litter. The cute little pups are worth roughly $500,000. Hulk is already famous for his size, weighing 175 pounds, and his litter of puppies are already gaining a name of their own.
It is adorable to see that this proud father loves spending time with the mini versions of himself. When Hulk fathered a litter of pups, owners knew they will bring them wealth. Each of the pups were set to be sold before they were even born! Easy money for owners!

Meet Hulk, The Giant 175lb Family Pit Bull
In this world, there are some very unique creatures. Although dogs are not unique animals and are actually very common, there are some dogs that are unique due to their size and breed. It seems that the dog in this clip is one of those dogs!
Meet Hulk, a 175lb Pit Bull. The dog is massive in it's structure and is the literal definition of a scary guard dog. In fact, the dog is training to be a guard dog and can be quite viscous when he needs too. But despite being a banned breed in the UK, the breeders of the dog say monster dog is 100 per cent trusted with their young son. Despite the lethal potential and the couple's many other dogs, three-year-old boy has grown up with them within arm's reach.
The couple's company Dark Dynasty K9s supplies animals to high-profile celebrities, billionaires and wealthy professionals - as well as law enforcement around the world. They are trained to have 'no fear' and some specialist dogs can even run up the side of fences and walls to reach second-floor windows. Many their dogs share their house on a sprawling 150-acre ranch in New Hampshire, USA. The dogs include more than a dozen highly trained pit bulls - and a single chihuahua.
Look at that enormous head. He is definitely a dog you would not want to cross. Hulk is not just a pit bull, but is a trained guard dog. The opening still pic is a little bit deceptive, making hulk look like, well, The Hulk. There is a trick in photography where you present the subject much closer to the camera lens than the objects in the background. You will see fishermen use this photographic technique to make their catch look monstrous in size. This is why you really need to watch the rest of the video.
Even still, Hulk really is big. The pit bull terrier is known for its strength and power, and Dark Dynasty K9s is a kennel in New Hampshire that breeds an especially outsized pit bull, believed to be a cross between an American bulldog and an American pit bull terrier. Hulk is an example of the kennel’s product. They are intended as use for protection. Some countries like the United Kingdom ban the pit bull as a breed. Some American municipalities like Miami also ban them. According to a Forbes survey the pit bull by far outstrips all other dog breeds involved in fatal attacks on humans, with 284 documented fatal attacks between 2005 and 2007.
We can appreciate a family’s desire to protect themselves, especially when you have children. But seeing Hulk the giant pit bull around young children does elicit a sense of nervous anxiety. Sure, he does appear to be a big baby at heart, letting the young child climb on his back like a horsey.
“I don’t think it’s irresponsible at all for people to have pit bulls,” said Lisa Grennan of Dark Dynasty K9s, who happens to be featured in this video. “They’re dogs, just like any other dog. No matter what the breed, it’s all completely on how you raise them.”
Hulk does seem to have a more amiable disposition inside the family home. No doubt he is loyal to his family. The kennel, however, puts their dogs through rigorous training, even training them to scale heights of up to two stories.
Jeff Cummings of DD K9s demonstrates their dogs’ fearlessness by posing as a carjacker. A “police officer” shouts for Cummings to come out of the car with his hands up. When the “bad guy” doesn’t come out, a massive pit bull leaps full force through the vehicle’s open window to subdue the attacker with punishing effect.
Please share this video with your family and friends as the sheer size of the dog will surely leave them in awe!

Smiling Dog Is New York’s Happiest Hound
Twelve years ago one special terrier was rescued from the streets of New York, and has been expressing his happiness - by SMILING. Brinks the Pit Bull has a remarkable habit of smiling exactly like a human. Owner, Jon Bozak noticed this pooch's rare talent the moment he first met him.
Jon said: “I think I first discovered brinks could smile the very first day I found him. I’d thrown him in the car and he got into the front seat and just kind of made himself at home. I really didn’t want to get a second dog, but as soon as I saw him smiling at the world passing by my car, it pretty much was a non-decision. The best decision I made."
Jon spent the next two months putting up thousands of “found dog" signs around the city to no avail. So he decided to make Brinks a permanent member of his family and many years later, Brinks is showing his appreciation by revealing his pearly whites. Jon, who works as a creative projects director, says that the dog isn't like a clown, walking through life and smiling goofily, but he does have the smile-like expression on his face constantly.

Hundreds of Dolphins Form Rare Superpod: SNAPPED IN THE WILD
Oceans boil with hundreds of graceful dolphins as they combine families to form rare superpods. As social creatures, dolphins live in pods and family groups - which usually contain between two and 40 members - but sometimes they will form larger pods with hundreds or even thousands of dolphins. Wildlife videographer Patrick Dykstra was lucky enough to track down these superpods while sailing in California and then again in Sri Lanka.

This Young Lioness Is Beast Buddies With An Otter
An unusual friendship has formed between a playful otter and a mischievous lioness. Petite Annel Snyman has raised a lion and otter in her house – and now they are best friends. Annel runs Loebies Guesthouse and Predator Park in the Limpopo Province of South Africa – home to everything from lions and leopards to hyenas and meerkats. And in addition to her amazing interactions with the colossal animals, a fascinating friendship has developed on site between her pet lion Kumari and pet otter Moses.
Kumari was born earlier this year from an adult lioness and Annel is keeping a close eye on the first-born lioness. She used to live in a nursery in Annel’s house, but now that she’s bigger, she gets to roam outside and play.
The 34-year-old said: “The reason I have a close bond with the animals is because I raised them from a very young age. In 2009 I was introduced to wild cats and in 2010 I got the necessary permits to raise and keep lions. But, I still know that I need to respect them because they are wild animals.”
The furry friends often play fight together with Kumari using her huge paws to pin the tiny otter down. They follow each other around and seem to really enjoy causing mischief. Annel expects Kumari to keep playing with Moses even after she’s way bigger.

Brave Mongoose Fends Off Four Lions While They Try To Attack
Everyone has to eat to survive and these four lions are ready to attack their next meal, a mongoose. What we expect to be a quick kill, turned out to be a much harder task for the lions. This mongoose wasn't going to give up without a fight. Four lions were left with their tails between their legs when a mongoose bravely took on the predators. The mongoose may be under two feet tall, but that doesn't stop it, it is ready to fight. The aggressive mongoose growled at the felines and even bit one at the nose, this is one brave mongoose!
Mongooses are one of the bravest animals in nature. There’s the famous fictional mongoose Rikki-Tikki-Tavi in the “Jungle Book” that battles a cobra. And then there’s this real-life mongoose in Kenya that was caught on film in Masaai Mara National Park fending off four lions! Amazing!
The shocking fight, which was photographed in 2011 but has just been released, began in the Masaai Mara National Park, Kenya, when photographer Jerome Guillaumot came across four young lions surrounding the terrified marsh mongoose. The lions chased the mongoose into a hole in the ground, but the mongoose wasn't done with it's fight. It came back out and fought the predators once again before running for cover, amazing! For more information, visit http://www.wild-dog.fr/en
During a trip toKenya, Jerome Guillaumot caught something truly fascinating. Maybe even something a little adorable. This professional photographer stumbled across a mongoose surrounded by four fearsome lions, a situation that you’d think would have an obvious outcome. In a bizarre turn of events, the plucky mongoose started running around manically while screaming at the predators.
Even the lions were caught off-guard. Stunned, they began to edge back with uncertainty. With every screech the little mongoose advanced towards its would-be tormentors, intimidating them through sheer noisiness. One lion got brave and gave its prey a bash over the head with its large paw, but the mongoose barely registered the blow and continued to edge forwards menacingly. It even dared to physically attack the mighty monarch of the jungle, launching itself at one lion’s face at lightning speed.
The surprise managed to buy the mongoose enough time to make a break for it, but the confused lions weren’t ready to give up just yet, and chased after the loud little lout. Their pursuit proved unsuccessful, as the mongoose threw itself into the safety of a nearby hole in the ground. The lions gathered around the hole in frustration, having let their prey slip through their fingers. But the fearless mongoose clearly enjoyed the taste of power, and emerged from the hole for one more round.
As the brave little mongoose continued to scream and shout, the stunned lions once again felt their nerves shake and backed away.Though they’re known for taking on venomous cobras without fear, this is the first time a mongoose has been filmed fending off predators as big and fierce as lions.
Check out this video of a brave mongoose fighting for its life! Have you ever seen prey fighting back against their predators? Let us know in the comment section down below!

Giant Lobster: Biologist Discovers 70-Year-Old Crustacean
A biologist caught a huge 70-year-old lobster that could be one of the biggest catches of the year. Forrest Galante was free-diving when he found the huge crustacean that weighed close to 12 pounds. Due to over fishing and general ocean conditions, the Pacific Spiny lobster rarely exceeds three pounds in weight. After debating whether to toss him back or eat him Forrest decided he had to take the lobster back to his home in Santa Barbara to show his family. The family quickly decided there was no way they could eat the lobster so took it to a marine reserve off the coast of California where it was released.

Giraffe Caught On Camera Drinking From Swimming Pool
Nothing can ruin someone’s vacation like an uninvited guest dropping into their room and helping themselves to a drink. But when that someone is a wild giraffe, having a fresh drink of water from your hotel room pool, now that is something that you will probably never forget and for all the right reasons!
A couple got a shock when they returned to their hotel room to find a wild giraffe drinking from their swimming pool! Kali Sakai and her husband had booked a room for two at the Kariega Game Reserve in South Africa. When they came up from breakfast one morning, the sight they encountered was one of a kind. They spotted one very thirsty animal dipping its long neck into the elevated pool that was concealed by foliage.
Kali, 40, said: “When I looked out the window, my brain tried to makes sense of what I was seeing but it didn't quite compute initially. It just didn't seem real or even possible.”
“It was exhilarating. Even though I crawled to the window and was below the window line, when I stuck the camera up on the windowsill, the giraffe was a little startled. But it held its ground.”
“I peeked over and flashed a giant smile in hopes of reassuring it. It kept sticking its tongue out as it studied me. It was hilarious. Clearly it thought there was no danger as it bent back down and continued to drink. Our ranger later told us that they have seen this giraffe before in the chalet area.”
Giraffes can grow to five meters in height and are the world’s tallest creatures. With its long neck and towering legs, the animal had no difficulty reaching the pool for a drink.

Great White Shark Pays A Visit To Cage Divers
Why is nature so beautiful? Why does a short walk amidst nature have such a calming influence on our mind? Why does the sight of flowers, butterflies, rainbows and animals fill our hearts with joy unspeakable? While evolution and science can explain many facts of our daily existence, the answer to this profound puzzle lies a little beyond the reaches of present day science, and in the realms of the super-conscious. Nature is beautiful because it is a manifestation of everything that is fervently pulsating with life on this planet. In the midst of nature, our minds become calm because we feel the pull of this joyful cosmic consciousness.
There’s so little we know of our planet, and naturally it makes us curious as to what else is out there. This thirst for knowledge makes us push our boundaries and reach for the unknown. So far we’ve been able to see almost everything that’s above ground but there are many wonders lurking in the waters depths and the inside of our mysterious planet.
We are reaching for the stars, but we know only a few percents of what the ocean waters hold. There have been many expeditions in the darkest parts of the sea, but we have yet to reach the bottom of the abyss. Even with our limited knowledge of the sea, some animals that we encounter are more likely to come out of a work of fiction than the sea itself.
A group of cage divers were testing their luck in Gaansbai, a place in South Africa that is known as a hot spot for the endangered white shark. They try to lure the big creature by using salmon as a bait, but they got a bit more than they bargained for.
The reason why so many Great White Sharks are around Gansbaai is due to the abundance of energy rich food in Shark Alley, a small channel of water passing between Geyser Rock and Dyer Island.
Gansbaai is the capital of Great White Sharks in the world with a population estimated of around 1,500 sharks. The sharks move constantly up and down the coastline and some travel very far up to Mozambique and Madagascar. Some travel extreme distances but it is clearly evident that the majority of the time most of the Great White Sharks swim in the waters around Gansbaai.
Some of the divers went in the water to take a closer look while the others threw the bait. These predators can detect blood in the water up to 5 kilometers away, so it's no wonder this shark came by to see what's up.
The shark then decides to make a big entrance and clamps it jaws around the steel bars, just inches away from the camera, and the divers manage to film this outstanding footage.
What do you think about this video? Make sure you tell us more in the comments down below. If you like what you see, don’t forget to share it with others who might like it as well. It just might be the highlight of their day! Enjoy!

How It Feels To Be Chased By A Great White Shark
WITHOUT warning, a gaping mouth full of dagger-like teeth opens up before you. The jaws bite down in a flash and the last thing you see are gums, gills and a watery stomach cavity. This is what it feels like to be ambushed and eaten by the world's largest predatory fish. The amazing close-quarters footage of a great white shark attack was captured using a remote camera towed behind a small boat. This 4m shark had been lurking nearby when it attacked the would-be seal without warning. Luckily the boat did not capsize and the only damage was to the tow cam’s glass fibre case. This is just one example of the diverse underwater life captured by Charles Maxwell, a 68-year-old cameraman and diver who lives in Cape Town, South Africa.

Cage Diver Has Close Encounter With Fearsome Great White Shark
It is the moment everyone who goes diving fears of! One ferocious beast of the deep goes straight for the divers and leaves with a sore head - from bumping into their cage.

It is the dream location of everyone who would like to take a dive with the great white sharks. The Canadian was apparently one of these folks, and he chose to plunge in the waters of Gansbaai, which is also ominously knows as ‘Shark Alley’.
But the Vancouver native was left awestruck when the 10 foot Great White lunged for the bait his tour used and missed, slamming into the protective caging instead! Jeremy said: “I was pretty confident the cage would protect us and the shark didn't seem interested in us. It was just going after the bait. For the most part I was calm, it was amazing to see these awesome creatures in the wild.
“However the moment when it hit the cage I got to feel its incredible power. For that second I don't know what I was thinking I just wanted to get out of the way. You're pretty safe as long as you keep all your limbs inside the cage. But you forget all that when its swimming right at you with its huge jaws of serrated teeth.”
It must have been some encounter. But the 36-year-old admits that it did not dissuade him from going back into the water. In fact, the next day he went surfing to Jeffrey’s Bay, which is about a day’s ride down the coast from Gansbaai.

A CAMERA-shy crocodile steals a GoPro from a diver trying to film it in a river. Wildlife photographer Amos Nachoum filmed the hair-raising moment while swimming in the Okavango Delta in Botswana.
