The challenge was the cables go through the girts so we had to determine the correct location and drill the 1x3 holes. We returned from the city and got back to work, but progress was slow as we had to drill several holes, plum the end wall and do some welding. We took time out of our build to give the bees a thorough check, especially since we are already in the swarm season, and it appears the honey flow is just beginning. As we go through the hives, we make multiple discoveries and then have to make a decision on what to do. This was the second day of our build and the learning curve continued to be steep as we worked to figure it out as we went along. lots of back and forth studying the engineering plans to literally figure out what bolts to use and which pieces go where. Regardless we kept moving forward. As I edited the video, I also tried to provide tips and lessons we learned along the way.
