Tattooing with Dave!!

In Todays Tattoo tutorial we will be going over how to place a stencil on KNEE. This can be a bit tricky at first but with time will get easier. We start by shaving the skin, then we prep our stencil. Once that is complete we apply stencil stuff (or whatever you use to stick your stencils) to the knee and finally we will apply our stencil carefully. You do not need to dispose of your needles until the tattoo session is complete. Until that time you can switch back and forth between your cartridges as often as you need to. In Today's Tattoo tutorial we will be going over how to make a tattoo stencil with Procreate. In order to use procreate (which is an app) you will need and Ipad that is compatible with an apple pencil. You will need and apple pencil and lastly you will need to download procreate. It can be pricey but for me it was worth the cost. In this video we will briefly go over how I use the app to make my stencils on the Ipad and simply print them off when I am ready. We will be going over what techniques are possible when making the stencil and the ease of use. Today's Tattoo tutorial we will be going over HOW TO TATTOO REALISM. This will be part one as we will go into this subject of tattooing realism more as we progress. In Todays Tattoo Tutorial we will be going over how to tattoo soft shading with a mag needle. We will be watching as I use a 23 curved bugpin mag to softly shade the top portion of this tattoo. Its important to remember the different techniques for mag shading as we use most of them in this tattoo. I also want to stress how important it is to ensure you are putting those soft shades deep enough into the skin. It can be tricky when the skin starts to red up so be careful and take your time. In Today's Tattoo Tutorial I want to walk you through the process as I tattoo The Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland. In this video we will go over the process of putting in your black to laying down soft shading/ light shading. We will also go over putting in white highlights into the eyes and lips. I discuss how to shade with a mag and pack black with a mag needle. Remember think of mags like paint brushes, the larger the area you are working in you may want to use a large magnum needle and the same goes for smaller tighter areas. The most important things to understand is that when the tattoo heals all the light shades will heal to the tone they are, so make sure you use the proper tone when shading. If you use the same tone through out the tattoo it will heal pretty one noted. I am currently learning this stuff as I go and doing my best to share the info I learn along the way, so feel free to share what you learn as well!!! IN Todays Tattoo tutorial we go over how to pack color with a Mag needle. In Todays Tattoo tutorial we will be going over How to blend colors with a mag needle for beginners. We will be using the CNC Q2 machine with a 23 curved bugpin mag with my machine running at 7.5 volts. I will start with red and pack the color then push that color down lightly towards the next color. I will then repeat the process using orange and finish up with yellow. This is a quick, basic color blend, you can spend more time and make a really smooth blend or whatever you desire. Color is not my specialty but I know a lot of you had questions about this so I wanted to do my best to help those of you looking to get into color work. In Todays video we will be going over how to make a Large Stencil for tattooing. We will go over how to take your design from a single sheet of paper and blow it up to fit as many sheets as you need for the size of the tattoo you are making. We will then run all the pieces of the design one by one through the stencil maker and finally we will line them all up and tape them together. Some times big or large stencil can be a pain in the butt to work with but with practice and a little trial and error It'll all work out.
