The backlash from conservative media, including TimPool, Breaking Points, Anything Goes, Some OrdinaryGamers, AwakenWithJp, and various other large accounts on twitter combined with the plummeting stock price of paypal sent them into full reaction mode. They then moved to reverse the decision citing it as "Just An Accident." But to anyone who knows how these things work, it clearly was not just a mistake. What is Traditionalism? To answer that question we much first examine what is meant by "Tradition", American Tradition in particular. Is it sufficient to point to the Constitution, or a particular figure, and attempt to emulate them? Perhaps for the layman. But such is insufficient to deal in the modern discourse and debate between Conservative and Liberal commentators. Tradition demands a deeper understanding of not merely values and institutions, but why said values and institutions exist, so that when so-called reformers aim to change them for what truly amounts to little more than the sake of change, there is just understanding and will in the population of Traditionalists to confidently oppose this. So often we as Americans are told that our country is a democracy, and that we should strive to democratize further, but is America really a democracy? The answer to that is an outright no. The United States was founded as a constitutional republic based in law, reciprocity between citizen and state, and noble leadership.
