A Miata Drive To Work & Back - A Rear View Perspective - August 7th, 2023
On this day I take the Miata for a drive to work in downtown Kansas City, with the Wolfang magnet mounted to my trunk for a rear view perspective. It began to rain almost as I started out, but my Wolfang camera being waterproof, it didn't matter much. This was around the time that my camera got a smudge on the right side of the lens, and didn't realize it until later on.
This footage was taken on Monday, August 7th, 2023.

A Miata Drive To Grand Street Cafe in Lenexa Kansas & Back
I take a drive in the Miata in the evening heading West, driving over to the new downtown Lenexa area for a Social Security seminar at The Grand Street Cafe. My friend was already waiting there for me when I arrived. After the seminar and a nice dinner after, I gave my friend a quick ride in the Miata back to his car, then drove home before it got too dark for the cameras.
I had my Miata rigged up with dual camera, facing front and back, but unfortunately the back camera SD card kept cutting out after a minute or two. On the way, there was an accident on 87th Street, delay the traffic.
Unfortunately, this video didn't come across in 4K, like it was shot in.

A Miata drive down State Line Road, which separates the states of Kansas and Missouri. I begin at some parking lot at about 89th Street and State Line Road, and take it all the way out South to 135th Street, where State Line Road then turns into Kenneth Parkway. My ride ends up in Leawood, Kansas.

Trail Cam Action - July 1st thru the 23rd, 2023
I finally got around to grabbing the footage off the trail camera in my back yard, and create a video. The problem is, each time there is so much footage to go through, which takes time to sift through it all. But anyways, enjoy the video. This time I got my first sighting on a rabbit, a mouse, two dogs, and a butterfly.
The images were captured by the trail camera between July 1st thru the 23rd, 2023.

A Miata Drive To Q39 & Back April 8th, 2023
I took the Miata for a drive over to Q39 to have some BBQ for dinner with family and friends. Afterwards I drive the Miata over to Walmart to pick up a few things before I finally make the drive back home. Using my 2nd Wolfang action camera, this footage looks a little blurry. Not sure what caused this, but I discovered later on that after installing the mini SD card, that if I format it once again inside the camera, my footage looks normal again.
Unfortunately, this video didn't come across in 4K, like it was shot in.

A Miata Drive To Cars & Coffee With Two Side Mounted Cameras - August 19th, 2023
In this video, I rig up my two Wolfang action cameras mounted to both sides of the Miata, and take a Saturday morning drive out to the Cars & Coffee car show at the Kansas City Auto Museum in Olathe, Kansas. In editing, I switch from one camera view the the next, giving the video a more encompassing, dynamic feel. The Cars & Coffee was a pretty good, the highlight car being a V8 Honda S2000. In the drive back home, I decided to use both views at the same time, so that the viewer can see both sides of the scene around the Miata. I also drove through a portion of the old Downtown Lenexa. It was a hot day out, with the temperature reaching into the low 90's by 9:30 AM, and reaching up to 105° later on.
The footage of this video was taken on Saturday, August 19th, 2023, using two GA420 Wolfang cameras at 4K 30FPS video.

A Miata Drive To The Krispy Car Meet - August 4th, 2023
I took the Miata over to the Krispy Kreme Car Meet. I was thinking maybe a few cars would be at this event. But I soon realized that it was a happening event! The whole parking lot was packed with cars and kids, all looking to get a lil crazy on a hot August evening. Early after some rowdiness by the patrons, police had the parking lots surrounded and began issuing warnings that anyone not leaving the even will be arrested. Fun times!

A Miata Drive To The Prosperity Car Show 2023
In this video, I take the Miata out for a drive over to the Prosperity Car Show in Executive Hills. I first drove by the Downtown Overland Park's Farmers Market, then I stopped by the Johnson County Arts & Heritage Center to vote. After arriving and snapping off a few photos, my cell phone just died on me. I'm not sure why, it wasn't the battery, it had plenty of juice. It might have been the heat, but it was only about 95° out. So anyways, I went back to the Miata and retrieved the Wolfang action camera to get some footage of the car show. The winds began to pick during the car show, blowing tables and canopies around.
After the car show I drove through Corporate Woods, along the construction off Antioch road at the Brookridge Country Club. A new mixed development is starting t break ground on the whole project. I then drove through a part of Pinehurst Estates and my old neighborhood off Hardy Street before making my way back home. Unfortunately my digital card filled up before I made it home, so the camera shuts off early.

On this Saturday, I drove the Miata to a friends funeral from work, David Rice, who tragically happened to pass away suddenly one night. So sad. This was more of a "Celebration Of Life", given by his family and friends. The chapel was packed with people. On the way, I drove through The Country Club Plaza in Kansas City, Missouri.
I recorded this drive on Saturday, December 10th, 2022, with the Wolfang Camera.

MLB's All-Star Game Yearly History - A.L. vs N.L.
A timeline of the yearly history of Major League Baseball's All-Star game between the American League and the National League - from 1933 to 2022 - in 4K. The score for each game is provided for each year, the name of the stadium or ball park the games was played in, the winning and losing pitchers of record, as well as who hit home runs in each game, and also who the MVP of each game was, which the MLB didn't start awarding until the year 1962.
Once again, this animation will look best on a big screen TV.
This was created using Bender 3.4.1 and iMovie on July 10th, 2023.

National League Yearly Batting Average Champions - 1876 to 2022
My latest Blender animation project, which showcases all the MLB National League batting champions from 1876 all the way through 2022. Each champion is displayed with their very own pillar, with the height of each pillar correlates to their batting average for that year, along with their team flag flying above, the year, their name, and batting average stats in gold lettering on each of their pillars. The higher the average the taller the pillar is.
This is a follow up to my American League version I did earlier, only this time it was much more taxing to complete. The history of the National League is longer than the American League with seasons going back to 1876. So I had to add 25 more pillars and flags to this animation. With the added pillars and flags, I ended up having to add an additional 2,600 frames to the sequence. Way too many!!!! I first tried rendering it in the Cycles Engine, but it would have taken about 7 days to render it all. And plus, during the first few hundred frames, the flag seem to not wave as often, sometimes freezing without any changes, from one frame to the next. So I decided to switch over to using the Eevee rendering engine instead, which of course renders faster, but doesn't quite give you the quality results as the Cycles engine does ( better shadows and light bounces ).
All in all, the Eevee render took about a little over 30 hours to crunch the 7,600 frames total. Yet I still got uneven and jittery results on the waving flags. This is even after changing the settings to the wind simulator three different times! Anyways, at this point, I was just desperate to get a finished product, and this is what I ended up with. Not exactly what I was hoping for, but maybe next time, I can figure out a way to keep the flag waving smoothly. I tried baking in the physics results multiple times, but each time I did, Blender would crash at the end, and I would have to close and reopen the application, only to find out all my baking was gone.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy this animation. It was long week of frustration for me to get it done, but I learned a lot in doing so. This NL version, I made the names, dates and batting averages much larger on each pillar so as to read better when displayed on smaller devices. It all looks great on a big screen TV, but most people are probably watching on their phones and tablets.
