Police officers and firefighters put their lives on the line every day and yet many departments are facing budget cuts as well as equipment and supply shortages. After “defund the police” became the rallying cry of protests in the summer of 2020 police officers and firefighters, in small and large cities alike, have gone from heroes to budget bait. Thanks to these budget cuts, communities must make hard choices about what equipment they can afford to provide first responders. Fire and police departments across the country are reaching out to non-profits like Back the Badge USA to help them meet their equipment needs. The budget cuts, personnel reductions, station closures, and equipment shortages, greatly diminishes the capacity of our first responders to respond to life-threatening emergencies. Businessman Darrin Parrent created Back the Badge U.S.A. to support our first responders by highlighting the importance of their work performed for the benefit of society, second, to support the first-responder community by providing scholarships and education to those wishing to serve as first-responders, and by donating paramedic-grade medical/trauma bags to police and fire departments that lack such equipment. Typically, these donations are made to police and fire departments in smaller towns and more rural areas where the nearest Hospital/ER is 10+ miles away.

President Ronald Reagan once said "The defense policy of the United States is based on a simple premise: The United States does not start fights. We will never be an aggressor. Enter the frat boys across mostly Southern university campuses, stepping into the breach and facing down these Marxist terrorists on their campuses and are now being accused of being racists and one in the video you just saw has been doxed and his fraternity forced to kick him out. Why? Because the Marxist media in this country is now the digital lynch mob and they will not only stop at nothing to hurt white males but plan these operations in great detail in order to create the conditions favorable to their success. Then we discovered state agencies sending voter registration forms to non-citizens. These non issues keep turning out to be major issues" - Rep. Adam Morgan. Yes, your tax dollars are being used in an effort to get more voters signed up for Joe Biden by federal and state government agencies. That’s not really new news but the fact that the effort includes non-citizens and illegal aliens is. We’ve been warning Americans about the risks being taken in the Department of Defense with this politically driven Gaza pier operation and of cours, our warnings are pretty accurate. Reporting by the Maritime Executive last week stated Shoreside construction operations for the U.S. maritime aid corridor to Gaza have come under mortar fire from Palestinian militants, Israeli sources told AP this week.Israeli outlet i24 reports that the pier came under attack Wednesday while UN personnel were on scene, and that several pieces of equipment were damaged. The SECDEF’s Advisory Committee on Diversity and Inclusion (DACODAI) in-person Public Meeting was supposed to be today and tomorrow in Arlington VA. The members of this advisory group – mostly retired senior military officers — all have the same views (which are pro) about promoting and pushing the Marxist-based DEI agenda in the military. Over 17 people, including myself, a Board of Advisors member, from Stand Together Against Racism and Radicalism in the Services (STARRS) and other organizations we work closely with made airline and hotel reservations to attend from all over the country and even fly in internationally. These groups represent all those who are concerned about the damaging effects the DEI agenda is having on the military, making it weak. We had early on requested that three STARRS leaders be able to make short oral statements (per what is stated in the Federal Register) during the public comments segment of the meeting, but on 18 April, we were informed by DACODAI that they were not allowing oral statements and did not give a reason why they contradicted what was stated in the Federal Register. But wait, that is not the only change DACODAI made to the meeting, this past Monday afternoon they notified us that the meeting would be virtual only. Denying us the opportunity to speak and to attend in-person as planned. After the last DACODAI meeting in December, DACODAI Chair Gen. Lester Lyles wanted to have an informal discussion via Zoom with members of his committee and STARRS. The DACODAI Federal Officer shut this down. It appears “diversity of thought” so often touted by DoD is actually not in fact valued and being “inclusive” to all actually means only to those who believe one side of the issue. The committee itself all has the same one-thought bias regarding pushing DEI in the military with no diverse thought. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is the latest social movement being imbedded in our culture and imprinted on our corporate identity. Over the weekend we witnessed Republican Speaker Mike Johnson pass more than $60 billion in more aid to Ukraine without a majority of votes from his own party, even more than we spend every year on our entire Marine Corps, as Senator Paul said. The other phrase we hear a lot, and did this weekend on the US House of Representatives floor is “we will defend Ukraine at all costs” and no one ever explains it because what that means is that we will fight until the last Ukrainian is dead, and then we’ll throw American kids into the meatgrinder in this totally unnecessary war. Over the weekend we all watched as Iran launched a large aerial attack from its soil at the nation of Israel. As I’ve reported previously Iran has always been behind its proxy militia forces and those groups actions are under the direction of Iran through the Iranian Republican Guard Corps, or IRGC. Iran’s actions this weekend finally ripped the mask off revealing for the rest of the world who is actually behind attacks like what happened on October 7 2023. Even though Iran says the attack was only in response to Israel’s attack on a building next to their embassy in Damascus, Syria, killing the top IRGC commander in the region who was directing Hamas, Hezbollah, and Islamic Jihad combat operations against Israel, the reality is now that Iran is out in the open in its war, its actions are a legal act of war against another country. The United States, United Kingdom, France, and Jordan openly defended Israel when they all used their Air and Naval Forces to shoot down a large portion of the more than 300 attacking drones, land attack cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles, prompting Russia to threaten the United States not to attack Iran or it will enter the conflict. As Israel considers its response options the larger question is will China and Russia take any military action beyond their current positions, both aligned with Iran, when Israel responds? The risk of escalation to regional war and beyond is real and each must act appropriately.

The world changed significantly in early 2020 when the so-called pandemic broke out from Wuhan, China but the biggest changes were in the U.S. military once an emergency use authorization vaccine was mandated upon all service members. The lawfulness of that order and its implementation are likely a part of the cause of our recruiting goal challenges today. Military member’s right of informed consent, due process, and religious freedom were all violated as military leaders forced members to take an unlicensed EUA vaccine or face disciplinary action. Eventually Congress rescinded the vaccine mandate, but the damage is done and will likely be with us for a long time. Restoring trust in military leadership will be difficult as there seems to be a long-term trend of American leaders choosing to protect their institutions instead of the defending the constitution they swore an oath to. Two men have taken up the challenge of explaining what happened, why this happened, and making recommendations for a course correction before its too late.
