Holidays approach, so does the cheerful holiday spirit. People seem to find fun in lots of simple stuff, like for example, their cars. With the holiday season upon us, lucky owners of the Tesla Model X have discovered the wonderful Christmas mode built as an Easter Egg right into their cars.

In the past, Tesla owners have been able to turn the car on the submersible Lotus Esprit S1 from the James Bond movie, "The Spy Who Loved Me". Others have been able to virtually drive down "Mario Kart's" rainbow road.

Now, Model X owners by holding the "T" button on their infotainment screen and entering the code "holiday" can trigger a Christmas light show. This cool "easter egg" feature built right into the vehicle will start playing holiday music and light show set to the tune of Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s "Wizards In Winter"!

When activated, this all-electric luxury vehicle will display a synchronized show using the car's headlights, turn signals, and falcon wings. As the music erupts, the doors start to swing open and turn the car into a urban “batmobile”.

As people are discovering the “easter egg” mode on their cars, they are sharing it online. An insurance agent in Norwood, Ohio shared his Model X Christmas mode performance with a curious neighbor and this is the video they made.
