Todd McShay’s NFL Mock Draft picks for the Chicago Bears:
- Round 2, Pick #39: Tyler Smith (OL, Tulsa)
- Round 2, Pick #58 (trade down): Jalen Tolbert (WR, South Alabama)

Todd McShay has unveiled a BRAND NEW ESPN 2-Round NFL Mock Draft. The Chicago Bears have two picks in the 2nd round (#39 & #48 overall). This Bears mock draft from McShay has Chicago drafting OL Tyler Smith out of Tulsa with the 39th pick as the Bears need to address its offensive line. Smith played left tackle in college, but needs some technical work. He could play guard early on with the Bears. McShay had the Bears trading down from the 48th pick with the Atlanta Falcons. Chicago ended up with the #58 pick and a 3rd round pick. The Bears landed South Alabama WR Jalen Tolbert with the 58th pick. Bears GM Ryan Poles is looking to address WR and OL in the 2022 NFL Draft and in this Bears mock draft that’s exactly what happens as McShay has Chicago selecting OT Tyler Smith and WR Jalen Tolbert. Harrison Graham argues that McShay should’ve opted for Cincinnati WR Alec Pierce over Tolbert as he was still available, but both guys would help Justin Fields and the Bears offense.
